Is insulting the new comedy

Have often wondered why Kapil has to resort to insulting, specially, female characters... Does he think that he is creating comedy by insulting females... Isnt this sending larger message..

Right from insulting his on screen wife's mouth and jaw line to his dadi to the latest character (who don't like anything), it hardly has any comic element in it..
