This is called KaSum fever !
2 Chapters in a single day. . Ah ! I am so in love with them = )

Everyone complained that they were not invited in Sarla's engagement which was not a function or any grand celebration but just exchanging of rings.

On society's demand there was a small party hosted by Dr. Gulati to celebrate the pre-wedding of his daughter. All the friends families and relatives gathered to congratulate the bride and her father.

Kapil was not talking to Sarla nor she tried to talk to him. He was highly annoyed.

" Kitni khush hai. . Yeh smile de kar aaram se sabko dhoka de sakti hai but I know she is worried. ." He thought looking at sarla who sat with her friends just chit chatting.

" Kya hogaya bhai sab itne khush hai ek tu hi itna ukhda ukhda hai kyun ?" Chandu asked resting his hand on kappu's shoulder and his other hand held a glass of champagne.

" Kuch nahi. . "

" Kuch toh hua hai. . Apne best friend ko nahi bataoge ?"

" Abe jana chai ki ketli jaisa muh leke mere peeche kyun pada hai? Ja apni chai bech tu " He replied annoyed.

" Ab toh pakka kuch hua !" Kapil's eyes were only on Sarla who gladly ignored his heated gaze which added more fuel to the fire.

" Ohhh. . Toh sarla se ladai hogayi. ." Disadvantage of having a best friend they just know us way too well.

" Haan. . "

" Sarla se ladai ? Itni khoobsurat ladki se bhi koi naraz reh sakta hai bhala ? Aaj Sarla ji kuch zyada hi pyaari lag rahi hai na " The spciety's inspector D.I.G stated looking at sarla with a smile on his face and Kapil raised his eyebrows looking at the inspector.

"Kahani mein villian ek nahi do hai. . . Dusra akela nahi hai pura ka pura group hai. . Apne aap mein das aadmi hai. . " He muttered making the inspector drink the champagne and shut his mouth.

" Hmm. . . Sarla ke pyaar mein Kappu loot gaya " Chandu stated laughing and Kapil frowned.

"Tujhe kaise pata ?"

" Mujhe kya puri dunya ko pata hai lekin afsoos aapki Sarla ko nahi pata. . " Chandu said he was drunk.

" Haan yaar ja aur kehde na usse. . Mein hota toh kabka keh deta sarla ji ko. . " Another drunk man D.I. G spoke.

" Itna aasan thodi hai. . " Kapil stated folding his hand and biting his lower lip which he does when he is in deep thought or tensed.

"Isse kaam hojayega"Mohan handed him a bottle of champagne.

" Nahi mein sharab nahi peeta !" Kapil immediately refused.

" Mere doodh ke dhule dost. . Peele ek baar pee lega toh apne aap muh se sarla ke liye I love u bahar aajayega !" Chandu said making him drink against his will.


Hey ! Nooo ! Our kappu doesn't drink in real life. He is against it in this story too but what to do ? Chandu ki zabardasti hai. .

I loved this update as well. Lagta hai KaSum fever kuchh zada hi high hai even i have an idea to write an os on KaSum but coming back to your story , it was amazing. So chandan made kappu get drunk. I am sure ab bohot drama karega kappu and i am waiting how and when he will confess his love to her. Update soon!!

Chapter 6

Hope u will like drunk Kappu ; )

" Sorry Kappu. Galti meri hai. Ab please baat karo na mujhse" Her finger was about to press send button when she stopped and re-read her text before sending it & frowning erased everything.

" Mein kyun sorry boloun ? Bakwaas usne shuru ki thi. . . Sorry use bolna chahiye. . "

She again thought for moments and her expression changed.

" Par meine bhi toh rudely baat ki. . . Sorry bolne se kya hota hai. . Atleast Kappu mujhse baat toh karega. . Sorry boldena chahiye "

She re wrote the same message and was to press the button 'send to kappu' but. .

"Mere saamnewali khidki mein. . . Yaha itna andhera kyun hai ? Anyways. . . Mere saamnewali khidki mein ek chand sa chehra rehta hai. . .ooohhh choti gulati sun toh !"

As soon as his voice reached her ears she quickly jumped off her bed after switching on the lights she rushed to the window opening it she found him trying to stand straight in his balcony.

" Woh raha chanda sa chehra. . Afsoos yeh hai ke woh humse kuch ukhda ukhda rehta hai" He continued his song and she let out a heavy sigh. He was trying to convince her but this time no. She decided not to melt.

She was about to close the window.
" Arey meri baat toh sunle. . Chal na kahin bahar chalte hai. . Just u and me. . Apne Delhi wale Taj mahal mein rehne chalein ?"

" What ? Taj mahal delhi mein kab shift hogaya ? Aur 'apna' kabse hogaya ?" She asked more to herself. But then she understood there was something fishy.

Her eyes went wide as she gasped when the realization hit her.

" Hayye Rabba ! Tumne sharab pee rakhi hai ?"

"Haan toh. . . Babu ji ne kaha ghar chod do. Maa ne kaha-"

" Oye ! Modern zamane ke devdas. Stop ! Mein neeche aati hoon bina awaaz kiya you come down too" She ordered and he smiled keeping his finger on his lips.

"Ok paro " And she rolled her eyes trying to hide her chuckle. She never knew he could be so weird yet so funny yet so cute when he is drunk.

Both of them reached down and Sarla glared at him keeping her hands on her waist.

" Sharab kabse peene lagey ?"

" Bas. . Abhi kuch. . 20 minute pehle se. . " He answered trying to control himself and his clumsy body. Before she could switch to her detective mood he went and loosely placed his arm around her neck.

" Yaar hum kal subha jhagde the. . Kal subha se aaj ki subha ke 2 baj gaye. .I am sorry. . Tumhara pata nahi but mein nahi reh sakta tumse bina baat kiye. . " She scrunched her nose up and encircled her arms around his waist trying to give his body a little support.

" Ladai tumne shuru ki thi kappu. . Aur thoda dheere bolo sab so rahe hai. "

He let out a laugh.

" Subha ke waqt koun sota hai ?"

" Kapil do baj rahe hai normal insan iss waqt sotey hi hai. . " He pouted.

"Tum kapil mat bulaya karo. . Kappu hi theek hai. . Tum jab Kappu bulati ho na aisa lagta hai jaise Kappu sirf aur sirf tumhara hai. . Apna sa lagta hai" He said staring deep in her eyes. Though his eyes were threatening to shut but those beautiful almond shaped pair of eyes held him in place. The stare was stronger than any intoxicating alcohol.

She smiled.

" Aisi kya naubat aagayi ke tumhe sharab ka sahara lena pada ?" She asked making him sit on the bench near.

"Mein na sad hoon" He said making a sad face and looking down on the ground. He and his antics. He was acting like those little kids who make an upset face when mumma refuses to give chocolate.

She held his chin and made him look at her.

" Kyun ? Kyun sad ho kappu ?"

" Meri not-yet-began Love story mein ek villian hai"

" Love story ? You love someone ? Koun hai woh ?" She questioned excited and happy.

" Tum" If he was in his senses right now he would have never ever said that. Her heart flipped hearing those three letters word from him. Her smile faded. But then it came back as she said

" Tum bhi na kappu. . . Nashe mein bhi mazaq kartey ho. . " Her emotions clearly seen in her eyes were betraying her words & disappointed her over joyed heart. She quickly turned her gaze away from him and her hands went sweaty.

"Yehi toh major problem hai. . Tumhe meri har baat mazaq lagti hai. .. .mujhe kabhi serious liya hota toh uss canada ka bandar aaj gulati uncle ka honewala damad na hota" He turned to her and held both her hands.

" Meri aankhoun mein dekho. . " Her gaze slowly lifted from the ground and met his and her heart sighed in contentment.

" Yaad hai jab bhi mein tumse kuch chupane ki koshish karta tha tum aise hi meri aankhoun mein dekh kar pata laga leti thi ke mein pareshaan hoon ya happy hoon ya sad hoon. . . Aaj bhi pata lagalo na. . Mein tumse kya kehna chahta hoon. . " He said. She tried to free her hands but he held them tight.

" Kappu. . Please. . "

He shook his head.

" Mein hi bata deta hoon. . . Miss Sarla Gulati I have fallen head over heels in love with you. . . Since bachpan. . Will u be mine forever please ?" That was the shortest and the cutest proposal which was definitely unexpected by Sarla. What she saw in his eyes was honesty and love something she wanted to ignore her entire life. She kept denying the fact that he loves her or even she loves him.

First there was a fear of rejection and breaking of friendship but when Rahul entered her life it was surely a 'No' to all this feelings towards her best friend.

" Kuch kahogi nahi. . . Mujhe bohot neend aa rahi hai. . Jaldi kehdo please" He said yawning. No wonder what his reaction will be when he wakes up the next morning and gets to know this is what a drunk Kappu did.

" Ka. . Kappu. . " Her eyes went teary. She felt bad. One 'No' will break his heart into millions of pieces and the guilt and loss she will suffer after this will give her pain for eternity.

Before she could say anything he simply lied down on the bench and rested his head on her lap and just dozed off.

Finally a tear escaped her eye and fell on his cheek she quickly wiped it before it could disturb his sleep. She leaned and whispered in his ear

" I . . I. . am. . sorry " And placed a soft kiss on his cheek making him smile in his sleep.

It was a tear indicating that the storm was near.
