CHAPTER 2 - PENNILESS.

I was walking towards my home after giving dance lesson to the children in the orphanage . It was a beautiful day while passing by the forest I saw some couples having picnic in the middle of the clearing of forest it looked so romantic that I also wished that someday someone would also take me in the middle of the forest and have picnic with me and say some cheesy lines for me. I removed the thought from my mind and continued walking towards my home while reaching the house gate I saw my dad Mercedes in the driveway. I thought he was in office why is he here at this time she thought for a moment . With that thought she entered the house and started calling for her dad after a moment he replied that he was in his office . She walked towards the office and saw a pale looking man with dark circles under his eyes and with the expression of worry and tension . This pale looking man was once her dad who was too young for his age with no signs of old age and with the expression that spread happiness as he was always happy but all this things changed last year . When he got the contract that every one would only dream for . He was so excited that he thought this was a life time opportunity and he just got lucky. Though our company is one of the best manufacturing companies in Canada it was a big contract for us as the Desai groups of industries which is the world number one company whether its comes to school, hospital, buildings and hotels they have their hold in everything has chosen us for this contract . As it was a big contract we have to put a lot of money for this project so my dad requested the CEO of desai group to lend him some money to start their project which amounts was 500 billion dollars the project was going good but in the last moment the CEO of desai group said that he is cancelling the project and want us to return his money though my dad has requested him to give us some time he only agreed to give us 5 months to return his money otherwise we have to face consequences . the time of 5 months has ended today but we have not yet collected 500 billon dollars as it is a big amount we needed more time so I asked my dad to request the CEO for couple of more months and I hope he had agreed. Otherwise I don't know what will happen as my mother is a heart patient and is getting treated we have to pay a large amount of money for her treatment we haven't told her about this crisis as I am trying to handle this situation on my own as my elder sister got married to a small business man they did not want to get involved in this situation as it will be bad for her husband business because helping our dad would be like going against the CEO of desai group which no one wants to do so we didn't got much help from the others . I don't know why they are are so afraid of this CEO I have heard that he is ruthless, manipulative ,he always gets what he wants maybe that's the reason they are afraid of him. Kiya- What happened dad did he agreed to give us more time.

Kiyas dad - No he has refused to give us anymore time.

Kiya - so what should we do about this situation now.

Kiyas dad - I really don't know kiya I have got some loans of about 40 billion to give him as a guarantee and insure him that I will soon pay the rest of the amount .

Kiya - what if we sell our company and pay his debt.

Kiyas dad - we can't do that because he already owns all our property and even this house . We are penniless kiya I don't have a single money not even for your mothers treatment.

Kiya - dad please don't worry we will find a way out of this . I am sure god has planned something good for us.

Kiyas dad - no kiya we don't have any way out of this we are trapped inside his web . I have even begged his lawyer as well as business advisor for more time but he looked at me with a smirk in his face and said that he is coming.

Kiya- who is coming dad?

Kiyas dad - Keshav Desai the CEO of desai groups.

Kiya - at what time will he arrive

Kiyas dad - he will here tomorrow for this meeting and asked for your presence in this meeting.

Kiya - why would he want my presence when a lot of more knowledgeable business persons will be their tomorrow.

Kiyas dad - I don't know maybe because you are handling this thing with me.

Kiya - oh

Kiyas dad - so will you be their in the board meeting.

Kiyas - ofcourse dad I will be their and I will also request the CEO to give us more time.

Kiyas dad - its know use he is a heartless guy from what I have heard .

Kiyas - but whats wrong in trying right.

Their conversation was ended my a ringing of a cell phone her dad picked the call and said kiya I have to leave to meet some investers I hope they would help us so I have to go. take care of yourself with that her dad left her . She replied that she would take care of herself and wished her dad best of luck for the meeting with the investors. After her dad left she stated thinking why would the CEO of a multi billionaire company want her presence when she had no knowledge about this things. I should know more about the person who I am meeting and going to request for more time tomorrow for a better impression so she googled Keshav desai names and saw some articles about how he became so rich without any financial support. As she was getting curious to see the person so she goggled some picture of keshav desai and saw the picture of the KESHAV DESAI he looked quite familiar but she could not pin point who he really was she thought maybe I have seen him on some magazine. As she was about about to close the tab of keshav a picture which was of keshav and a beautiful looking girl hugging each other they looked so much in love suddenly she felt something deep in her heart jealousy oh god why am I getting jealous of this girl its not like she is hugging my guy . I don't even know this guy I think something is wrong with me. With that she turned off laptop and said

I will be waiting for this business meeting Mr. Keshav Desai.

P.S. I know I have promised a better chapter but nothing came in my mind so I wrote some crap. Hope you all will like it. Any questions and suggestions are accepted by me.
