So, Since I'm incredibly bored and our forum seems to be a little dead, I thought of making another useless post after seeing this kind of post in another one of the forums, I saw it in the qubool hai forums, So I'm shamelessly copying this idea! I thought this would bring our activity up and we can also have some fun at the same time. 😳
So, the topic this time is "Moments with the male specimen", the post I saw in that other forum was embarrassing moments with your crush, but since I have never really had any legit crushes, this is what I'm going to go for! I have alot of such embarrassing moments with guys, I am incredibly shy around guys so I guess it's kind of understandable? lol..
Okay, this is is when I was around 15, and I go to this religious summer camp every summer, it is for two weeks, I have gone every year, I didn't go this year but I went last year. Anyways, in this summer camp, it's both guys and girls between the ages of 14 and 20. So, it was the first day, all of us arrived at the destination, it was on a university ground so there was a huge lawn area where everybody could play, so me along with group of other girls were playing with the volleyball, just tossing it around. And, basically everybody in the camp was out in that ground, some playing, while some just sitting in the ground and talking, so besides us there was a group of people just talking, our ball got tossed over to their side. and this guy happened to pick it up, but instead of looking over at us and returning it to us, he started playing with it. So, I kind of got pissed off, I don't even remember really clearly. lol. I went up to him, and I was like "excuse me, can you return the ball to us? we're playing with it!"..and I really don't remember what he said after it, I am guessing he said Okay, I will or something like that, but I remember clearly what I said, I was like "You better" *with an Icy angry glare*, and then I picked up the ball and left. After doing that, I felt really felt bad for saying something like that, It was an instinct thing, I usually get mad at guys faster..Lol. and, Imagine my luck! He was in the same age group as me, means he was in the same sessions(classes) with me!!! I saw him whenever we did something with our age group! ..Yup!!! I don't think I will ever live that one down! I was really mean, but I think my mean instinct always comes out when I'm dealing with guys..🤔..Don't know why that is the case, but it always happens! 😆..so after that, we happened to see each other during lunch time, and he was sitting in the table right next to mine! 😳..and, the whole time he was staring at me!!! I could feel his stare but since I'm such a big chatterbox, I just kept talking to the people on my table. I really don't know what he was thinking, or what he told his friends about me after that! But, seriously! I'm still so embarrassed of myself about this. Way to leave a bad impression on the first meeting! LOL
and, the second one..Hmm..should I tell you guys this one, too? This one is a little too personal, and maybe even more embarrassing..lol. well, this one is from the same camp! This is not the case of me being rude again..lol..so, this guy was a year older than me, so I didn't see him much, I didn't even know his name! I didn't even know he existed till one of my friends pointed him out because she had such a huge crush on him, actually alot of girls did, and as usual I was like "what's so special about him? He looks weird!" Yup! That was me judging him before I even properly saw him! Lol..🤣..so, anyways this all started again in my 15 year old camp, so he apparently thought I was cute and paid some attention to me, which I was completely unaware of! I didn't even properly notice him till my friend told me he thought I was cute, she was like he told me not to tell you. and, from there I started noticing this guy! we only had few interactions for the rest of the camp, but on the last day, when I was leaving for my city, he came there to say bye to his friends and such, and I said bye to my friends! Than this uncle helped me put my luggage in the car, and he walked to the car a little bit behind mine, it was a van, so he was sort of half sitting in the car, but than when I turned around, I sort of caught him peeking out from that car towards my car! LOL..He failed in the mission of being subtle about it..lol..
This saga continues for the next camp!! Lol
In my 16 yr old camp, again we had such random interactions, where we would radomly have eye contacts (NOT an LLHH people, a random 1 sec. eye contact, it was not a 2 minutes of gazing in each other's eyes! Just making it clear after Lizzy and safi called it LLHH. I don't think I can ever look in anybody's eyes for that long, I would go mental if I did!🤣)! and, than I also finally found out his name in that camp, talk about slow..lol. I remember one incident where me and my friend were waiting for our friend to get her food, and waiting for her with our plates in our hands. and, here walks in this guy, and instantly he starts looking down towards the ground, towards our feet, and since our plates are so big we couldn't see what was under there so we both bring up our plates and look down ourselves! 🤣..It was really funny, we were all worried if the ground had water on it, I thought he was looking down because it was wet, I can't imagine it we slipped and all that food fell on ourselves..That would be epicly embarrassing! lol..🤣..so, after we checked our feet and saw nothing there, we look up and apparently he saw us doing that, so he chuckles while walking by us. He saw us being all worried and looking down like that..lol..I'm sure he was laughing at us while we did that. That was sort of embarrassing, but my friend thought he was just some random guy so she didn't pay much attention to it, but that was the first time I had such an encounter with him while with my friend, so she was like why was he doing that? I was like "beats me!"..lol
So, there was alot of such weird moments with this guy S, but I NEVER talked to him. *Sigh*..I know I totally live in a 20th century..lol..I could have said hi or something, but I really didn't know what to say to him, I could have been like "hey, so you know me, right?"
Yup, Definitely not a good plan!! 😳
But, than he wasn't there for these last two camps I went to, so finally our little saga came to end! LOL. Now that I think about it, I just find this whole thing very amusing. but, it would have been better if I had said something to him at that time. Way to have so many random moments with a person I didn't even know! 😆 but, I guess if he did come up to me, I prolly would have blew him off by being mean again. Lol.
I'm such a lost case when it comes to the male specimen, either I totally blow them off by being mean (Totally an instinct from my tomboy days!) or I just never get to talk to them (From being really shy! 😳). 😆
