Chapter2:
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The class was so boring.And it was finally seven and I would actually get off in half an hour,but I didn't get a chance to tell KD that.I was actually anxious to see him.I mean I did used to have a crush on him after all.

It was seven fifteen and still no KD.I just decided not to think about it anymore.If he shows up,gr8.If he doesn't,oh well.

Seven twenty five:I was getting my stuff when Juhi walked up to me."Hey Kiya there's a guy out there looking for you"I walked out to see KD holding a rose and a crumpled piece of colored paper.

I walked up to him and he smiled"Sorry I'm late it took me a while to find this."He handed me the paper and I got a good look at it.

It was the card I gave him exactly eleven years ago.I just stared at it.I opened it and remember the hard work I put into it and how proud I was when it was done.In blue letters on the inside it said"Happy Valentines day KD.Will you be mine?"But his name was crossed out and instead it said Kiya.

I was seriously in shock."How do you still have this?"

"That was the best card I ever got.I liked it so much I went back and fished it out of the garbage."

"And you never told me?! I've had eleven the worst valentine days in a row because of that one."

"I am sorry.It's just you were so intimidating"

"Yeah right."

"Okay so when I was younger it was because I didn't want anyone to make fun of me but once l got older,to tell you the complete truth I forgot,then when I bumped into you I knew l recognized you,then you told me about the card and I really like you."He said in one breath really bluntly.

"You like me."I said like a statement.

"Yes."

"And why should I believe you?"

"I don't know but you should."

I eyed him up and down.There was no way this guy could actually have feeling for me.

"Have a nice day"I said walking away.

"Wait Kiya come on.Give me a chance.It took me all day to find that card and get a rose.Which caused me double because it is a valentines day."

I sighed"Fine"

"Awesome."He grabbed my hand and raced off.

We arrived at a really nice restaurant.My first thought was "Ah how sweet.".
Then"How the hell is he paying for this?!"

We went in.I saw Panchi."What are you doing here?!"

"KD called me.I still don't know how he got my number.But he told me to give this dress to you as he thought you may not accept it from him."I smiled and hugged her.

"Thanks."

"KD has also informed me that you have twenty minutes so lets go!"

I looked at him curiously before being dragged by Panchi.

She took me to the restroom and made me change.It was a cute dress short blue that had one chain strap over my right shoulder.I have slender legs so it really complements the dress.I walked out and she took down my hair.She had a curling iron with her so she started immediately while I did my make up.Matching blue eye shadow,mascara,eyeliner and lip gloss.

Finally we were done.I checked the time and we were fine minutes over.She packed up her stuffs and I ran out there.I found him in the booth is a more private part of the restaurant.

I suddenly got nervous.I walked over and he finally noticed me.His eyes shot open as he appraised my outfit.He got up quickly"Wow.I mean...wow."He said still staring.I have to admit,when in the right cloths I kill,but I don't have enough time.

The waitress came took our order and went.

Chapter 3:

"So this whole time you kept my card?I asked.

"Yeah.I mean I hadn't thought of it much since that day,but I remembered keeping it and putting it in a shoe box that's at the top of the closet.I took the shoe box with me that's at the top of my closet .I took the shoe box with me because it was a little piece of the past."

"How sensitive."I said poking fun at him.

"Yes I am a little sensitive.So sue me."

"Well you aren't a complete weeny are you?Because thats very offish"I grabbed a bread stick and started munching it.

He laughed."Wow.way to be straight forward.No I don't think I'm a weeny.He was still chuckling.

"Okay well are you one of those self centered or are you just so sure of yourself that you don't need to care."

"Neither"

"Pick 1"

"Thats not fair though.They both suck and aren't me"

"Fine.raspberry or blueberry"

"Strawberry."

"Hey quit making your own rules."

"Fine fine.Raspberry."

"Green or blue"

"Green and its my turn?"

"Shoot"

"Rain or sunshine?"

I thought for a second"Rain"

Interesting.well you might get lucky with that tonight."I loosked outside and he was right.It was probably going to rain."Okay next Vanilla or chocolate?"

"Chocolate."

Then our food came ending our fun.We ate and talked about our lives and what not and were soon finished.

We walked out to his car and he drove a little ways.We are still talking.

"So I want to take you to this amazing dance place.Do you want to go?"

"You are the driver"

"I will take that as a yes?"

"Yes"

We drove to this club and got out.It was pretty cool.

We walked in the music was so loud I could hardly think.We got stamped.

We set down a couch and KD went to get us some drinks.He brought us back two pepsi's.We talked a little until it was too difficult with the music and he asked me to dance.

To tell you the truth I had never been to anything like that so l was a little awkward,but l quickly figured it out and it was a lot of fun.

He had his hands tight on my waist and we moved and swayed to the music.

After an hour of dancing and a having a gr8 time we finally left.

We got in the car and he started driving somewhere else."So have you had fun so far?"he asked.

"Yeah!so much!I've never been on a date this much fun"

"Awesome"

We went and parked in a grocery shop parking lot."Why are we here?I asked.

He looked uncomfortable for a second."Well I have a confession to make."He paused."I ran out of money"He rubbed the back of his neck.

I laughed."That doesn't matter.You have already done more than most average dates.And you made my valentines day way better than before.

"Really?"

"yeah"I smiled assuringly.

"So listen,you it's different now that we are out of high school and well I was hoping you know we could go out again."

I laughed again."So because we are out of high school you think that its okay to go on a second date?What made its not okay in high school?"

"Um..I don't know"He seemed so uncomfortable and he was stuttering like crazy.

"What's on your mind"I asked.

"Nothing!what makes you think I'm thinking of something!"He exclaimed really quickly."

"Yeah okay."I said in a disbelieving tone.

"Really!"

"KD just tell me"

He sighed."I wanted to ask you something"

"What do you want to ask me?"

"Well..um..never mind"

"You can't do that its against the rules!"

"Fine!I was going to ask what um...you do at computer classes."

"Liar!No one is actually interEsted in that!Come on KD stop beating around the bush.This isn't high school anymore"

He sighed.That's when I decided to do something that was completely out of character for me,but this whole night I havent felt quite like myself.I took his face and kissed him.

I pulled away."What was that for?"He asked with a smile.

"For a wonderful night and a great valentines day"

He took my face and kissed me again.

"Do you wanna take a walk?He finally asked

"Sure"

We started walking down a little path hand in hand.

"So if I were to ask you to be my girlfriend you would say...?"

I thought for a second."Yes"

"Good"He pulled me straight to his lips.Thats when I felt a drop of water on my cheek.Then more.All of the sudden it was pouring,but that didn't matter.All that mattered was keeping him close to me and his lips on mine.

I like to think of that first kiss on Valentine's day.

To think it all started with that silly valentine i gave him 11 years ago.

We have been married for 3 years and still love each other.He proposed on valentine's day 3 years after that great night.I didn't expect it even though I probably guessed it.

Well that proves my sister wrong all along.Boys aren't hopeless after all.And I owe it all to my perfect homemade valentine.
