@Bella-Edward...TBP's take on teens is very realistic. Kiya is a 16 yr old. 16 yr olds hardly think about people who aren't related to them in any way. And she's not close to anyone to actually even know their problems. There are a lot of those "mahan" characters on TV, but teenagers aren't like that. And these teens are...troubled in some way or the other. They are allowed self centredness & immaturity. They have a lot to learn. That's what this how is about. KD has equal no.of flaws.

TBP doesnt show any of its characters as mahan or perfect. Everyone has their own strong and weak points...
