Final Decision :Chapter 9
For KD and Kiya, it had become difficult to stop themselves from meeting each other. A week had passed. They used to meet in the morning, go home in the afternoon and met again in the evening. As days passed, it became difficult to tackle Ranveer and Panchi. KD and Kiya had to cook reasons every now and then.
One day, Kiya had her Physics mock test in the college. It was the worst day for her life. Her professor shouted at her for missing many of her practicals. She gave her mock test and left the college in anger.
She removed her cell. 2 missed calls. It was KD. She called him.
"Hello, Kiya, guess where am I?" he asked.
"Where are you Keshu?" she asked.
"At Vile Parle station."
Kiya was happy. Her mood changed completely. She told him to wait near Shri Sagar restaurant and took an auto immediately. She saw him near the restaurant. She ran towards him and hugged him.
"Kiya, what are you doing?" he was surprised.
"I am sorry Keshu, but I am so happy to see you. I can't tell you how much better I am feeling now. You know that professor insulted me so badly today. I was feeling so bad Keshu. I missed her pracs just because I was not feeling well. But when you told me that you have come to meet me at Parle station, my mood changed. Thanks a ton dear." She said.
KD started laughing on her. he was constantly teasing her.
"By the way why did you come to pick me at Parle?" she asked.
"Actually my pracs were cancelled, I had a lot of time with me, we were anyways going to meet at Andheri station, so I thought I will come to Parle instead of waiting there." He replied.
"Don't lie, why you don't tell me that you wanted to surprise me?" she winked at him.
"Kish, you are a sample. There's no one like you in the whole world." He teased her.
Kiya started laughing so hard, that she had to hold her stomach after sometime.
"That's why someone went crazy after seeing me." She winked again.
KD was smiling and blushing too.

Their relation had no name. they were not going around with each other, but at the same time it was something more than friendship. For KD and Kiya, they used to forget everything when they met. It was a different world for them. They used to spend hours just sitting with each other.
One day Kiya and KD were together in a restaurant. Kiya ordered the food. KD's cell started ringing. It was Panchi's call. KD gestured her to keep mum. He was talking to her on the phone. Their call continued for nearly 15 minutes. Kiya was getting frustrated every second. He ended the call, he seemed upset. Kiya understood that they had a fight. She thought that it happened because she was in front of him.
"KD, where are we heading? What exactly is happening with us? We are in a relationship with two people, but why do I feel like meeting you every day? We are not a couple but spend so much time together. Keshu, if we are not going to stay together, let us separate our ways at earliest, before it gets difficult to get ourselves out from this." She said in a low voice.
KD stared at her in disbelief. He could not imagine of staying without talking to her. but, he thought that he was spoiling Kiya's life. He respected her a lot and never wanted her to regret any thing she did. He sighed and decided to end his relation with her.
"You are correct Kish, we are heading towards a dead end. It's better to secede early, than regret any of our decisions later." He said. Kiya heard the sadness in his voice.
They thought a lot on it. They decided that they will never meet after that day. KD dropped Kiya at home. Kiya said 'bye' to him and entered the apartment. Soon she reached her home. She went to the washroom, washed her face and sat on the sofa. Some strange things were happening to her,. she touched her neck and forehead. It was warm. She took a shawl from her closet and draped it around herself. She was feeling weak. Her throat was dry, but she was not at all thirsty.
Suddenly, a flood of tears gushed down her dry cheeks almost staining her shawl. She started crying as if she has lost someone who meant a lot to her. She lied on the sofa, her face was swollen. She saw her cell phone. 1 missed call. It was Ranveer. She switched off her cell phone. In few minutes, she fell asleep.
"Wake up Kiya; you have a call on landline." Kiya's mom said.
She woke up immediately, but she was not completely awake. She went near the landline, took the receiver in her hand, and spoke.
"Hello" she said. Her voice was drowsy.
"Kiya" said the person, breathing heavily. "Shona I Love You." It was KD. His voice was intense as he said the last sentence.
She felt as if someone tickled her stomach. She almost forgot how to breathe.
"Ke..sh...u.." she stammered. She tried to gather her senses. "I Love You too Jaanu."
He kissed her on the phone.
"Ohh Keshu." She said.
"I want to see you. The last few hours were very long. I am amazed how am I not unhurt without you near me." His voice had that truthfulness in it.
"5.30 sharp at Rustomjee Park."
"Hmmm." He said.
She hung the phone, went straight to her room and saw the time. It was 4pm.
She closed her eyes and started recalling his words.
Shona... I Love You...
She thought she was watching a dream once again . but this time it was real.
Keshu makes me happy. I can't forget him ever in my life. I don't know what will happen in the future, but I am highly obsessed with him. I want to hold his hand and hug him tight. Oh Kiya what is happening to you? I am so much lost in him. Keshu I want to love you jaanu. I want to fall in love with you. I know I am already crazy for you but I want to shout loudly in front of the world that Kiya loves Keshu.

KD and Kiya met as per decided.
They went to their regular place to sit. KD felt a little clumsy that day. Kiya asked him about that call. He smiled and took her hands, he was rubbing her palms.
"Kish, I guess I can't handle it anymore. I tried all ways controlling my feelings for you, but I have failed Kish, I think you are my soul mate, I know it's a very big term, but I want to marry you, I can't tolerate staying apart from you even for a second, I don't see you as my girlfriend, I feel we are married, our souls are married, I want to be your hubby Shona. I will face all the worst things that come in our way. I will never leave you alone even if you start hating me. Will you be mine and mine forever?" he asked.
His voice choked as he said the last sentence. His eyes became watery. Kiya held his hand tight, she placed her plam on his cheeks. Within no time, she started crying. For the first time in so many days, she did not feel that emptiness while crying.
"I will be yours." She said.
"Kiya let's not cry, let us be strong, now that we have decided to stay together, nothing in this world can separate us. I don't care about the world, but let us confront Ranveer and Panchi at the earliest. I don't want to keep them in darkness."
Kiya agreed with him. After so many days, the burden from their heart was removed. They felt fresh and lively. Kiya went home and hugged her mom tightly.
"What happened to my Princess?" Kiya's mom asked.
"Nothing mumma, I am so happy today. I am feeling very hungry, what have you made?"
Although Kiya's mom had prepared bitter gourd that day, Kiya finished it quickly. She was desparately waiting for KD's call. The night was beautiful. For people newly in love, the nights are the best part of the entire day. They get time to relax on their bed and think about their love. They recollect the time spend by them together. She went to the living room where she had left her cell phone. She cell was blinking. She thought she had missed KD's call. She got angry on herself. She quickly picked the phone. 1 missed call and 1 message that read-
"Are you awake? Do wait for me."
It was KD obviously. She quickly replied-
Of course I am awake, waiting for someone.
After few minutes KD called her. He asked her about the dream in detail. She told him everything. She felt as if she was in some other world. Her eyes tightly shut when she told him about it. She felt hypnotized when he was repeating those same words. Although she was away from him, his mere voice had made that magic. She felt she was not in senses. She had completely lost her control.
They did not come to know when they fell asleep. After 20 minutes, Kiya woke suddenly and saw their call not yet ended. She put the hands free in her ears and heard KD's breathing. He was in deep sleep. She ended her call and was now thinking about Ranveer.
She decided to tell everything to Ranveer in the morning. She knew it would prove disastrous. But now it was high time that the truth should be out.
