Purab is pleased with the gift, especially coz Taps made it herself. He asks how she made and she explains. Purab says she is too innocent. Taps is unhappy that she couldn't wish him new year at the count down. He takes her towards the window to watch the sunrise. Says, he has never seen the first rays of the new year with any one before, it doesn't matter if the didn't spent the last moments of last year together but they will share the new year together. They hug and wish each other.

Then Purab gives her strawberry cupcake which he had made for her in the night. They share that too and Purab says from then on they will share everything.

Maami gets back ache due to housework. She asks Pre to help who refuses. Ashok is planning to visit Taps with sweets and though Mami is against it, Pre manages to convince her. Mami notices her expensive ear rings, dress and sandals. But Pre says she bought it with her salary.

Taps meet her mother in the pooja area and notices the sindor on her. They discuss Mukul. Taps asks her mom why she did it and she says yo make Taps legitimate. Taps says she refused to accept him and she didn't need him. Being Jaya's daughter is enough for her, but did she need any one else. Jaya too says she needs only Taps. They hug and Taps covers Jaya's head with the pallu do that the sindoor is not visible. Hans watches from first floor and says she will never forgive her father for this. She will punish Jaya and Taps too.

Pri Sa scene... Pri is suspicious about the pink hand kerchief she finds in Sagar's pocket, but he makes excuse that it was some relative dadi's

Mami reaches there with Pre. Purab doesn't give much attention to them and takes Jaya away for puja.

Dadi asks all husbands to put sindor on their respective wives. Taps get the 'feels' when Purab apply Sindor.

Hans taunts Sapna about her husband being absent, sapna says he was sent yo US by Veena and that is why she wants to create problems for VD. Hans says for now let us do something about the bahu and asks sapna to switch on the fan, which sapna does.

The pallu falls away from Jaya's head and all are shocked to see the sindor.

ThaRab scenes were good. I wonder if the writers is giving us abundance of ThaRab before the separation track. May be the confession words are not spoken by Purab to create MU, if Taps get to know about the promise he was asked to make by Jaya.

With the precap showing Mukul accepting Tap's parentage, the only issue should be Taps knowing about the promise. Will the voice fraud be exposed too?

Today's episode was all about Taps illegitimacy.

Seeing the sindor Sapna asks if she married again or had Taps father come back. Taps try to intervene saying it doesn't matter who her father is. By then Mukul reaches there with sweets. Purab hadvover heard part of convo btwn Taps and her mom, and I think he suspected Mukul. Purab asks the rest of the family to keep quiet snd asks Jaya to speak up about who Tap's father is, why should they both suffer for the cowardice of the man who cheated them. Hans gets worried that things are not going the way she wanted, and her Father might be revealed.

Finally Mukul speaks up. He accepts being the one who left Jaya, but says he didn't know Jaya was pregnant. VD says no wonder he defended Taps the other day. She says that Taps always brings too much drama into her home, is an ill omen who brings problems. She cuts off when Purab tries to speak for Taps. Purab says Taps is no longer illegitimate.Mami says Jaya and Taps knew who Tap's father was yet, never spoke. Her family had to bear the of Tap's education and Jaya's treatment.

Jaya asks Mukul to leave. She then rushes off to her room.

Precap scene where Taps says he shouldn't have done this. She understands his intentions, still it only made things worse. The matter that was kept within their home, now became known in her sasural and it might be revealed to the world too. From being an unmarried mother now her mother became the 'other' woman. She didn't believe in breaking a family to make her family, to take a father and a husband away to make him her father. There was a point when Purab tries to comfort her by placing his hand on her shoulder, which she shrugs off. Purab seemed upset for a moment about this.

Taps goes to her mother and try to feed her, and says sorry that Jaya had to suffer this coz of her husband (Purab). Jaya says it is not her fault. Then asks about VD's behavior towards Taps. Taps tries to make excuse.

There was so much drama in today's episode. But it might all be for nothing as the show has the history of making big revelations only to sweep it under the rug and characters behaving as if nothing happened.

So don't know what to make of today's episode.

I agree with Taps that Mukul revealing himself as Tap's father does not make her legitimate Or solve anything.

Oh yeah, the horrible PSP track too had a bit screen space today.

Don't understand why Tapki is upset about Mukul being revealed.... Her sasural already knows she being illegitimate na ?

The whole track is weird... First the sensible Jaya asking Mukul to fill her maang, as if it will suddenly turn Taps legitimate ans all problems will be solved, without a thought about his family, without asking him what other injustice did to his own daughter. Just applying sindor secretly will make her his wife ( yeah I know it is true in drama world be it movies or ITV).

Precap shows Taps going super hyper about Purab's interference. I remember mentioning if Taps would take things calmly if her mother was involved in any issue while analysing VD's CD issue

Relax, the episode was not as bad as I expected... Bad to a lot of extend, but with hope for better episode tomorrow by the end scene.

Jaya is concerned about Tap's sasuralwalas behavior. Taps makes excuses and cajoles Jaya to eat.

Mukul reaches Ashok's place, apologizes and offers cheque. Ashok tears it off and asks him to get lost.

#team goes for their usual game of drama for VD with taunts that Purab is becoming closer to Taps and her mom and stood up for them against the whole family, if this continues VD will no longer have any say. VD says she will have to do something.

ThaRab is unable to sleep coz of the tension between them. Purab brings her cup cake. Taps is happy at first, then remember her mom's humiliation and doesn't take it nor talk to Purab.

Next morning Jaya seeks Mata Rani's blessings for her daughter. When she turns she sees VD and apologizes for last day's drama. VD talks softly to her and says she understands Jaya's , whom her lover left, needs. She offers money to keep Jaya away from her son. Jaya takes the money demands more and more. When VD asks if she should deed away her whole property to her, Jaya says even that won't be enough for her son is 'anmol'. She returns the money to VD and says love only increases with sharing, she pities VD for not understanding her son.

Taps comes to kitchen to see Purab holding a tray of food. She says she will make her own food. Purab says it is for Jaya. Taps tasks him to keep the tray down, she will take it to her mom. Purab wonders if he should say sorry and end the fight, then thinks she will argue with him more. Taps murmurs why can't he accept his mistake, and murmurs about his ego. He hears her and ask what. She then takes the tray and goes from there.

Jaya is not in her room and can't be found. Her phone too is unreachable. Taps gets upset, Purab tries to comfort but she accuses that it is coz of him that her mom walked off without telling any one. Purab tries to explain that he wanted to stop their humiliation and protect them, which has no impact on Taps. She brushes off his comforting touch again.

#team reaches to add fuel to fire. One says she might have gone yo Mukul, the other hints at Jaya doing something to harm herself. Hans suggest calling police. Finally Taps is able to reach Anshul who says Jaya is with them. Taps can hear Mami's taunts in the background. She rushes off and asks Purab not to interfere. Purab is still about to go after her, but Dadi stops him and says this is between the mother and daughter let them resolve it. Hans tells sometimes too much care too can bring reverse effect. She touches his sleeve and Purab pulls his hand away.

Jaya tells Mami that she didn't do anything wrong, she only loved whole heartedly. She didn't reveal Mukul's name coz she didn't know his whereabouts or even if he was alive. She says she will no longer suffer her taunts coz she has no reason to. She will no longer be treated as a burden. Taps hears her mom and says from then on mami doesn't need to think of her mom as a free lodger. Taps will see that a rent is paid to them every month.

She asks Jaya about leaving without informing. Jaya says she had to do it , else Purab wouldn't have let her go. She says that Purab had put forth the condition that Jaya won't be returning to Ashok's home unless Mami treats her with respect. Taps is surprised to hear this.

The episode ended here for me. Taps expression in the last frame showed both surprise and hint of regret for misunderstanding him.

I am still against Jaya's dealings in the whole issue. The sendible Jaya seems to disappear when it comes to Mukul. For a moment when Jaya said she won't be a burden to them, I wondered if she was going to say she will now stay with her Husband 🥱

I hope she won't praise Taps for singing for her *halfsi*

There was a scene between Sagar and Pre too which I skipped.

Anyways hoping for things to be back to normal in the next episode... Time for Taps to manaofy patidev. Poor guy was really upset today both coz she was angry with him and coz she refused his comforting touch a second time. Wonder how she would do it.
