Ever since Bihaan dropped out of sight (😭) I continued watching.
The wafer/paper-dosa thin epis of the first 2 days after that black weekending were just 'pass-overs', bridging the time till Jigs was up and about again. It gave nice surprise re-views of Shraddha, Dhruv, Anu+Veer, Suman Bhabhi, and... Kosi-Ma (although, 'nice' is a relative term here).
But post-leap epis began showing some substance and spark - up to a point>
. Grown-up Tina turns out to be a whining-tining Tina: 1 drop of blood on her finger almost causes her to faint, surrounded as she gets by 5 doctors to get it treated (NB: this is Vasu-Dadima's pampering effect)
. Bani acts rather meanly when she makes some show director trip and fall, entangling his foot in a cable
. Bauji drops dead - for fun, just to keep warring Thapki and VasuMa from sparring again (all complete deviations from pre-leap trend)
. KosiMa is dressed to kill - no, not in her earlier avataar hiding bombs in candles and what not. Nay, she wears fancy, shiny saris with matching jewelry and looks all set to enter PN again, this time in more appropriate attire...
Where the story is going to is everyone's guess. Thahanians, Manyaseans, and Bihanians are basically waiting for one thing only...
But, to be fair: today's epi was fun to watch - at least when Thapki and Bani met. Acting-wise and direction-wise it was an engaging scene.
So, if anyone is willing to wait for 2 weeks (when our Manu is said to re-enter), then today's epi can be a good enough start to watch again.
ONLY, be warned: CVS has done this so many times: start nicely, drag endlessly, kill all fun in the bargain and the end ...
