I can agree with everyone who thinks Thapki is annoying.
I don't think she is wrong.
If Bihaan fell in love with her, what is her fault? She did not give signs that she was softening towards him. Just because he is in love, does not mean she should start loving him.
She lied about the second chance because that was the only way to get to the truth and Bihaan was not going to tell her.
She is bothered by his anger as she considered him a friend. She is apologizing to a friend and it doing an OK job at that.

BTW - not to forget - ALL her difficulties, that she faced or is facing, are there because Bihaan married her.

Sorry! got a little tired of Thapki bashing and Bihaan mania...

After reading what you wrote, I think you are right too!! Every time I have an opinion but while reading other POV I just agree to it too
This is what I posted in another thread:

"But in Thapki's case I think it's different as she doesn't yet consider Bihaan as her husband even if he starts showing signs of taking her rights on him

But the thing is that for Thapki she was accepted as bahu of the house first because of all the problems after marriage so maybe that's why she thinks that she should worry about the family first and then later about Bihaan even if husband comes first before husband's family
And anyway Bihaan has always been there for her and she is taking him for granted and this dispute with him should let her acknowledge that she shouldn't take him for granted and he is her priority"

It was on the husband or family thread and it kind of agree to what you said Katori Di

Katori, I kind of agree with you there. Bihaan is no less at fault and although Thapki's naiveness does get on my nerves at times, I'm not particularly annoyed at her this time because she's actually making an effort to mend things between her and Bihaan. On the other hand, Bihaan's behaviour is coming across as a bit childish.
Bihaan never really apologized to her for marrying her by deceit but Thapki did apologize for fooling him into believing she stayed to give him a second chance. So blaming her is a tad harsh...

The lack of physical attraction is baffling considering they are both good looking people. But again Thapki has never even looked at him with that point of view,

She is annoying to me more for miss-two--good-shoes attitude more than anything else. She also believes herself to be morally superior to Bihaan. But bashing her for not being in love is not right.

@Bold - exactly he has not apologized and we, the audience, are saying she should forgive and love him because it was not his fault.
It was his fault!!! He walked to the mandap, Vasu did not carry him there.

That's true but in his love for his Maa he was obliged to do so!! Agree that he didn't have to accept her demand but that guy lie at his Bauji and Maa's feet I can't and won't blame him for marrying Thapki because of the love he has for his Maa

I will! He had a choice and he chose his selfish love - to gain acceptance of his mother over the happiness of 2 people. What if Vasu asked him to kill Thapki so that she was permanently out of Dhruv's life? Killing would be fine too?

Thank you Katori...I was actually planning to write on this. By the the way I'm new here..been reading all of our posts and they are just wonderful...
Even when u say that she is not softening there is a special consideration to Bihaan from her. If u remember during tabela days whenever she prayed she would first take Bihaan's name...if she's scared again Bihaan . even when she was lying she was saying 'I'm sorry Bihaan I had to lie to u...'
And Bihaan never showed that he helped her for her sake he used to say it's for my family and she used to believe it.
Like h said she is not aware that he loves her and the extent of pain she caused . she still thinks of their relationship as how it was, so I don't think Thapki's character is wrong

And if u noticed she has changed a lot , has learnt how to be practical while exposing lies. First time she broke a promise given to Vasu regarding the divorce. She has started to be more strong might be effect of living with Bihaan.
