Hey guys. I am finally here with an episode analysis because I am so very happy. Despite the fact that Victorian poets and war poems are hanging above my head owing to the literary history examination I am in for tomorrow, my fingertips are buzzing with several shayaris I have read in the past. And it is precisely the reason because of which I am so desperately writing this on a piece of paper, so that I don't miss anything. Ok enough about me! Moving on to the reason I am jotting this down.
To be frank, the episode itself was a blur to me. On the technical side, I believe the episode was a total failure. The direction of the whole thing was so very rushed, almost looked amateur. The sheer weirdness and impossibility of all that they have shown in such a short time was disturbing to me. I was constantly rolling my eyes at the doctor. But on the bright side everything we wanted are now being grant by the Cvs.
Vasundhara Pandey is not a human being. The fact is now very well established. She cannot be even compared with a witch. I believe witches are Kinder. So thank God (or Cvs) Thapki has finally understood how much of a vile woman she is. Her ears were constantly ringing with Vasundhara's words. But what amazed me was the shock which registered on Thapki's face, the denial and then the acceptance for the life of the person who mattered the most to her.
"Suna hai Mohabbath Qurbani Chahthi hai..."
She had nothing else in mind other than him, none of the other things valued to her for the moment. She was ready to give up her own life. But that was not enough. Qurbani toh karni padegi, keemat toh chukana padega. What values above her life, what was the greater sacrifice, the one priceless thing in her life whose worth she is not even fully conscious of - Him. Forgive me if I am overstating things but I do not see Thapki portrayed by Jigyasa, I see Thapki the character of the story.
In the hospital the family enters. Ok I have some choice words for these guys. Did you guys see their faces? Not one bit of fear for their son's life. Preeti- Suman had the best expressions among them. Bauji was such a put off man. Dude your son almost died. Why are you looking like your favorite pet got hurt? This is the director's fault. The rush just killed every emotional scene. Moving on everyone was so disgustingly doing Vasu's bhakthi. Arrey Thapki mar gayi thi kya? Usske bina Bihan aur Vasu teek samy par hospital kaise pahunch lete? Bihan would have been in swarglog by now. Bihan, my bro you are the unluckiest son I have ever seen on TV, maybe it's for the best.
"Mohabbath mei dard sehne ka hai dastoor.."
Thapki slowly enters the room where he lies. Her heart beating with a new life hearing of his well being. The tears continue to stream down her face and a single drop travels down to fall on its sole haqdar, the only one who was worth those tears, yet so ignorant of his worth. He reprimands her for spending her priceless tears for him. And her, the happiness she experienced at the very "chuk chuk gaadi" she was so annoyed of not very long ago, the bliss of hearing his voice, seeing him back from the doors of death. Not a moment is wasted before holding his hands close to her heart, feeling the life coursing through them reveling in the knowledge of his presence with her. And for the first time in forever, they acknowledge the shift in their heart. Bihan breaks the ice as he gently teases her about her Kali roop, but the subtleties underlining his words speak volumes. He must have felt himself a part of her, her words telling him that she belonged to him. And his bold retort to her when she scolds him about talking too much, if he doesn't speak how will she smile? Beautifully honest query which has a lot of depth. Every single time life had seemed dark to her he stood by her, irritating her, annoying her, teasing her, fighting with her, but all the while managing to make her smile, whether through the meaningless victories in the fights or seemingly insignificant almost idiotic gestures. A hint of a smile plays on her lips overshadowed by the color of separation.
His father entrusts him with her. Her heart yearns to be with him how ever her brain feels. She cannot see him in pain. She enters their room only to find him struggling with his clothes. She offers him help but he stubbornly declines the offer. However his wife had decided that he needed her help and he had no choice about it. His breath hitches at her proximity, he helplessly drowns in her as she dresses him. His feelings breaking their way through the surface. Bihan's need for Thapki could no more be held in the core of his heart, it had been serving its time growing powerful so that when the time comes it could break through his heart, course through his being and control his senses. And break it did. The pyre was lit to burn the evil in their but another fire was lit in Bihan's heart, the embers of which had been sleeping silently for a long time. His eyes find her. The love which lights up his eyes knows no boundaries as he watches her remembering their memorable time together. And the perfect glimpse into his heart, if eyes were the window to the soul, I would say Manish Goplani is a perfect deceiver, becoz when we look at him it is Bihan we see, his eyes and soul we see. The very love struck Bihan.
Judayi ke rang- I know you guys must be tired of the phrase and me using it but the precap, which I must was the most awesome precap Thahaan had till date, brought us back to the phrase. He so daringly colored her in the color of his love but she colored his heart with the color of separation. The heart breaking look both had took away my breath. But which color will prevail? Mohabbath ya judayi?
