In a co-incidence of sorts, lead actors of Thapki Pyaar Ki, Jigyasa Singh and Manish Goplani injured themselves at the same time during a shoot. Jigyasa fell down the stairs and sprained her right leg while Manish's foot accidentally hit a stool. Both the actors were in pain for a week and had their wounds bandaged, but managed to pull off their scenes without disruptions.
Talking about the incident, Jigyasa says, "I was engrossed in the scene, and suddenly slipped and came hurtling down the stairs. Luckily, the injury was not very serious. With the bandage on, I struggled to walk for almost a week.
But things are fine now." Jigyasa is scheduled to perform at the grand finale of Bigg Boss, so the bandage has come out just in time for the actress.
Co-star Manish says, "It's quite strange that we got injured in separate incidents at the same time. Whenever we would see each other, we would burst out laughing. Guess we found a way to comfort ourselves in that pain. Thankfully the swelling is gone and my foot is fine."
