Look at how funny this sounds...!
Thapki is a 21 st century female lead who does all type of mahaantas for rescuing her so called saasu maa. she never lies. she never cheats. moreover, she never , NEVER sees the male lead in a good light. she 's always against him even when he's always with her!
And look at the other colors tv show... CAS(chakravartin ashoka samrat) i noe most of u dont watch the show.. but i watch it.. bcoz i love historical serials...there they have just introduced a new female lead opposite to ashok.. and u noe wat guys.. she is smart , bold ,beautiful and she is not the typical "i never lie" type of girl. she lies... and even noes how to cover up smarty. she is good hearted too. but she knows ki "burre ke saath burra karna is not wrong" today only she stole money from the bag of a fraud pandit bcoz she needed it...! she says..." i noe wat im doing is wrong under man conditions... but burre k saath burra karna is not wrong ! i was suprised that how their Cvs showed that not all female leads are "mahaan" and never do wrong things. she's on a mission to find her missing dad, and she knows to mould situations in her favour..and she dosent turn a blind eye to the male lead's concern. moreover, she is a totally focussed girl..! she is not the damsel in distress everytime. though sometimes ashok saves her..but she pays it back to him by saving him. she is not a "bechari" and the self pitying FL. she has no parents , but she never discloses it to garner sympathy... i found her to be the type of femle lead that a 21st century show demands..not of the old times...
But the type of FL we have in TPK is perfectly suited for the old times... such a mistmatch!
