I agree with Amina that this Daan thing will not have too big of an impact on the whole plot. It may be used to highlight Bihaan's goodness as this week seems to be about Thapki getting to know some truths.

From what I have seen of the olvs, Thapki hasnt connected the dots that Vasu doesn't consider her as her son yet. She hasn't connected the yam ka diya and the adoption truth. I think only when she comes to know that Vasu hates her, only then she will wonder why then Vasu wanted her as her bahu and they why Bihaan married her and not Dhruv. So I guess the sequence of events is adoption truth first and then vasu hates thapki...

In Vasu hates thapki olv, Jigyasa mentioned that she was devastated by the Diwakar incident and suddenly vasu's revelation has broke thapki. So, we are getting the hatewala scene only after Diwakar drama. I hope it knocks some sense to thapki and her mind.
