Can I be honest? I see them trying to actually show that he is Mr. Perfect and instead I just find him plain creepy. Even from the beginning when he first started falling for Thapki I just felt so uncomfortable watching their scenes. When they were dancing at the party though, that was the height of it for me, I couldn't really get through their scenes after that one. He's her boss and significantly higher up in the corporate ladder and here is daydreaming about romancing this girl who's only ever just wanted to do the best job she could do. Does that make sense? I guess it always makes me uncomfortable when I see people in positions of power use that power in this way.

Even now, the way he's moping around, the way he was reacting when he rescued Thapki from the car and likely how he'll react during his whole situation makes me uncomfortable. Like I get that Thapki and Bihaan didn't want to marry but the fact still remains the woman is your brother's wife now and you're still moping around after her making doe eyes instead of trying to sort yourself out?

Thapki's reactions (mind you I haven't caught up on all the episodes yet and I usually skip most scenes with Dhruv in them - cause again guy creeps me out) are actually quite on point with how I thought she felt about him before the wedding. She wasn't in love with him like he was her. She felt this was a guy she could trust and was one of the good guys in her estimation and she could definitely grow to love him. She respected him and while she was shattered at having that bond of trust broken she wasn't heartbroken or heartsick.

Anyways. I've rambled on too long here. Thanks again for bringing this over and sharing!!

Agree, I was always uncomfortable with Dhruv-Thapki relationship as he was much more powerful than her. When he kept asking her to say I love you, I was like duh. He is putting her in a position where she cannot say no.

I have to come to think, based on the reaction in various forums about such relationships, that boss-subordinate relationships are much more acceptable in India. I have never worked in India so cannot speak from experience but here in US they are frowned upon.

Whatever way the marriage took place, everybody has now accepted it, including Thapki to some extent. If she had moved out and lived her family and Dhruv chased her, I would be OK. But she is not. She is living with your brother as his wife. Please stay away from her.

Quit watching the show few weeks back as I found the script ridiculous. But it seems like Bihaan has got more popular than Dhruv. Strange! A boss-subordinate relationship need not be frowned upon. There are people who get cozy only for personal gains, the very reason why its best to look for love outside the official framework. The story of Dhruv-Thapki was shown very neatly. Thapki is a confused soul, I guess...In India marriage is considered divine. The Creatives wouldn't dare to show Thapki in love with Dhruv, now that she is married to Bihaan! She has no choice but to fall in love with Bihaan. The character of Bihaan is now getting more screen space, that's all. Thapki's new journey for 90 days continues... 😃

To b very frank I find dhruv ridiculous. First of all why didn't he tell Thapki that he was unconscious when the wedding happened? if it was bcoz he didn't want to show his bro in bad lite then what's he doing now? accept n move on. So much u think of ur family n its izzat but not for that of his so called love of his life. He Shud hv stood up for her n got the wedding annulled. but no all he is doing is mop around! Had he tried but if Thapki hadn't agreed that's a different thing actually..

I too find thapki-dhruv relation lacking spark right from the beginning though a boss subordinate
relationship need not be so prim and proper. Most of the mills and boons stories had bosses and subordinates at loggerheads with each other at the beginning with sparks flying. No wonder thapki-bihaan exchanges are more fun to watch.
