Ayya continues to ask from yesterday - the real reason for whatever was done by SK. Ganga tells RV and Kappu that SK accepted that he was the reason for report change. But did not divulge the reason, that's why she had to go to Ayya. All speechless except for Rasamma (indhammava...) who questions Ganga if she did not probe the reason with SK. Naachiyaa shuts her up saying Ayya will do the enquiry and all of them will abide by his decision. Subbu now comes and tells of the manasangadam created by the repeated lies (adhaanE, ellaarum pEsumpOdhu naan mattum azhaama, adhaavadhu pEsaama eppdi) unga kitta oNNu, engakitta oNNu, Ganga kitta oNNunu why must tell (huloo makku madam, avaru oNNayEthaan thiruppi thiruppi solli irukkaaru - repeated dialogues kodumai engakitta kELunga...grrrr) Ganga tells Kappu the changes she has been seeing in him, that he is hiding something and not forthcoming with her. He is testing her patience (unnudhumattum illa...) Kappu wants to know what now, Ganga tells he must tell the true truth to ayya, otherwise she will stay with her appa until the truth is out. Kappu promises to ask SK, she again reiterates her happiness over the medical report of Ganga. On cue arrives SK with Vandana. Ganga looks at him, Ayya, Naachiyaa, Subbu, RV,Kappu, Mani and Rasamma turn their faces (ovvoru mooji hanging thani thaniyaa showedappa) SK wants to know why all faces one type (ellaar mugamum oru maadhiri). Ayya shouts at him to stop all this nonsense (naanga kooda solrOmungov..) he has not been truthful to his wife.. had been creating confusions with his lies... SK tries to mennu muzhungi reason out...RV stops him and tells him to speak only the absolute truth and answer ayya. Ayya tells Ganga did not want him to be ashamed in front of others, so she took the pain and was shamed. Ganga looks at SK tearfully. Ayya now wants to know why he lied that SK did not know about the abortion. And why the false medical report for Ganga? Now is the time to tell the truth in front of people present.
Naachiya prompts him, then Subbu, Ganga look uttings for the same... (yov..sollitholaiyaa) SK asks pardon, tells them to wait for 10 days and then they will know the truth. (dei...) Ayya says cannot. (habbaa.. 10 days engaLukku thaangaadhayya) cannot wait even for 10 minutes. SK will only find ways and means to escape. Rasammaa supports SK and tells why pressurising him.... RV shuts her. Ganga asks him now if he does not want to have children with her or if he hates Ganga herself. Dumbo SK only shaking his head with tears in his eyes. Vandana now pokes her nose... adhu vandhu... Ayya asks her who is she to tell budhimadhi.. she is after all a PA to the Collector, who should follow the instructions of SK for work only. Not to interfere in their family matters and cause confusion. Kappu holds his collar and insists he tell it right away. He is still mute. She asks if he would tell it over her deadbody. Vandana comes again with a please, Kappu almost slaps her (kudungammaa summaa paLaar, paLaar) SK accepts to tell the truth. Vandana again tries (unakku arivE illayaa) SK finally tells the truth of he going to die in 10 days. Again each face is shown in negative and positive shock. SK Ottufies of getting beaten up and the Chennai hospital fixing the date of his death (aahaa..endha hospital SK adhu)
SK continues telling of the blood clot in his brain and UR telling that it is difficult for him to live long and of the recent visit to UR when she had given him 10 days time (yes yes..pack all your belongings for the trip aa!!) This is THE TRUTH he hid from all because his inner mind (uLL manasu - evvaLavu deepnga - 10 feet) told Ganga cannot take the shock of this news. He wanted Ganga to hate him and leave him for her good, hence he acted thus. Again and again he goes on justifying his lying. Everybody in tears (including me..innum evvaLavu naaL updatesO) including Rasamma and Mani except Vandana. SK gives a thanksgiving speech and wants to tell his last wish - Mrs.Savithri Sathyavan - Gangadevi tells she will stop the God of Death. SK continues with telling his last wish and faints. Ganga faints on SK. The whole household is in chaos, each shouting maaps and Gangs.. RV calls for the ambulance...
