It wasn't even only about the plot. It was more about how bad everything else was. The dubbing - pathetic and annoying, especially the kids' voices! Also Keith Sequiera's (Vivan) acting was horrible, and even in the emotional scenes, his lack of talent made me laugh. A total lackluster performance! His dialogue delivery was bad, his expressions were bad, and his crying scenes made me laugh more than cry. Jennifer and Ajay were good though! :)

I wish the makers kept the following things in mind:

1. Explain the death of Neeti's brother in more detail - I was a little confused to be honest. How exactly did the fire start? What was Vivan doing there after his father took him away? Where did Vivan get sent off to? For how long? - This whole sequence was confusing, and nothing was explained properly. And the death of her brother wasn't even made into a big issue in present time, so I don't get why it was necessary in the first place.

2. Explain what happened in Vivan's and Neeti's lives in the 15 years they spent apart. I mean, if Vivan always loved Neeti, how and why did he get married? Like on one side they showed Vivan's neverending love for Neeti that he can't forget, but on the other side, it showed him being married. Like, why? Was there some kind of majboori, or what?

3. Give Neeti's character more dialogue! Though Jennifer Winget is an awesome actress, and just by her expressions, you can understand what the character is feeling (ie., confused and being stuck between two men), dialogues would have made things better. She was quiet throughout, taking no stands, and it led to the audience just speculating about her inner desire. Like, I got she was confused, but is she leaning more towards her husband or her childhood friend/lover? Dialogues could have been used to explain that better.

4. Neeti's character during childhood wasn't shown to be in love with Vivan's, like Vivan's was shown to be in love with hers - so I don't get how present day Neeti was totally smitten by him. Why couldn't Neeti just tell her husband that Vivan & her were best friends, who got sent away for killing her brother in the beginning of the episode? Why all the secrecy? It's not like they were really dating when he was taken away. He liked her, sure, and she could have just told her husband, so why didn't she? When did she exactly develop feelings for Vivan? During the 15 years spent apart? If so, why did she marry her husband? Nothing was explained!

5. I don't understand why Vivan's wife was still with him. If her husband wasn't faithful to her, and openly confessed to loving another woman, I don't understand why she's sticking around. He doesn't even love his wife properly, so why hasn't she left him yet? What's with all the regressiveness? What is their relationship exactly built on? (Going back to the whole 'is it a majboori' thing). I wish it showed her walking out on him, because women need to be stronger, and she definitely deserves better. Like, Neeti realized what's right and went back to her husband - she realized who she truly loves and etc; but for Vivan, he was in tears when Neeti left because he loves her - and his wife just stood there, taking it all in, saying nothing.. but why.

The story had too many plot holes, the dubbing was bad, main lead's acting was horrible, some bits were OTT, and some bits were confusing; all leading to a horrible TF.

As for people comparing it to DMG, the circumstances are completely different. In DMG, Riddhima's marriage was forced by "society" because of what Sid did (those fake pictures of them in bed, the whole hypothermia sequence, etc). And he was also abusive towards her during the beginning of their marriage. Even though they eventually became friends, Riddhima never felt any feeling of love towards him. And then there was Armaan, who she always loved, and who she got separated from due to certain circumstances. I truly feel that if you're in an unhappy marriage with no love, you should end it, that's why I was completely okay with R & S divorcing (also she didn't divorce S; it was the other way around because he realized she will never be his). And this is exactly while I support Neeti & her husband being together because that is a happy marriage with mutual love. That is also the reason why I don't get why Vivan & his wife are together because he doesn't love her, nor gives her any kind of attention. 🤔 To each their own though!

Atleast in this TF the CVs showed some sense and Niti accepted his husband not his Ex-boyfriend like DMG.
I think this TF is a BIG SLAP on DMG CVs.

She ditched her nice hubby for the sake of so called love 😆 u got me reeling . If u didnt watch DMG from the beginning & watched it in bits & pieces mainly the end then u r in no position to judge that it was her so called love. DMG was a lovestory of ARMAAN & RIDDHIMA from the very beginning till end. So the main leads ended up together. But even here when she returned back to her hubby still the story wasnt liked by so many .
ARs luv was never selfish u ve to watch the whole show to form tht kind of opinion.
m/over this is TMLS forum y r u even brining DMG over here? . let go of the past .is it too much to ask? . DMG had a rgt ending & its cuming from a person who has seen all the episodes not few epis here & there . This TF had a rgt ending too coz here u may say tht the love btwn Vivian & Niti was so called.

@bold1 where did i say that jen did this?? did u read the post correctly??😕i said that jen this ckt & unlike her DMG ckt!!i know wats reel & real!!
and may b that story was armaan & ridhima but main thing is morality & ethics. and i think even if sum1 is in luv then it doesn't mean go 4 EMA wid ur past luv wen u r married 2 a gud human being!!
@bold 2 just 2 let 2 main leads 2gether doesn't mean we shud support EMA. if they'd shown luv from sid's side & she was not married 2 him then it wud'd been ok & rite but that was totally wrong!!ask any sane prsn thye"ll not recommend!!
and abtthose ppl not liking this TF's end of neeti's going back 2her husband then its shows their twisted morals & ethics & immaturity!!
just 4 the sake of love u r going 2 breakup a marriage & that 2 wen ur spouse is so nice, understanding, caring & luving!!
wow!! i m really surprised 2 know that ppl've such twisted morals & ethics. Rules can b changed but not morals & ethics!!
so don't go on preaching ur wrong ethics 2 oders & telling theirs as wrong or flawed!!and abt DMG mentioning i mentioned bcoz sum1 else has also said the same thing in sum post where its said that why shes getting such ckts wid EMA's etc. and that they r happy that atleast in this she chose her hubby instead of her past luv!!🥱🥱
and its not necessary that if sum1 has watched whole show, so he/she knows more abt morals & ethics than oders!!🥱🥱🥱and i did watch epis here & there but atleast i m clear abt morality & ethics which clearly states that wen u r married u shudn't cheat ur spouse wid ur past luv. if u can't 4get ur luv then u don't've rite 2 ruin a 3rd prsn's life!!🤢🤢
and ppl may not've liked this TF much but mostly've liked its end unlike sum oders & i think thye r less in no.!!

@hotmess i agree wid u on sum issues u raised abt this TF esply Keith's acting & neeti's bro's death & vivaan & his wife's relation!!
and thanx 4 telling me abt how sid & ridhima got married!!and may b marriage was forced one & he may b abusive initially but later on sid bcame quite a nice hubby. so don't u think every prsn if he repented truly(if truly & timely) deserves anoder chance?? and while being married 2 sid she slept wid armaan.
this is not morally correct. if she didn't luv him then she cud've waited, got divorce & then do watever she wanted wid armaan!!
didn't armaan left ridhima widout telling her why he went??wen she can 4give him then why not sid??😕

I think this TF is a BIG SLAP on DMG CVs.

But alas even after she showed sense in choosing the hubby the TF is branded as superflop !!!!!... So after the FLOP verdict I dont think this TF will be the reason of BIG SLAP on DMG CVs !!!! LOLLZ ! It wud ve been had it been a hit ...but now the DMG CVs will be more than pleased that they gave a happy ending to the main leads !!!!

@hail hi!!i don't think its branded as a superflop!!i agree that many ppl didn't like the TF but its not that viewers didn't like the story or the end, its only that they didn't like the execution of the story. or rather i say there was not given proper time 4 all the sub plots!!

only small no. of ppl r there who didn't like the end & they r i think less in no.!!😊
and even if rite or correct thing doesn't get hit doesn't mean thats wrong or made wrong-doers or . their supporters superior. easy ways r not 4 permanent how much they get the support 4 the time being!!😊

Where on earth has this EMA discussion come from. Maybe people should look up the definition of EMA before making such ridiculous statements.

I dont understand why sum ppl r even comparing DMG with this TF 😕 i suppose the reason being husband, wife, lover triangle . But the situation in two stories arnt even similar !In DMG Riddhima was forced to marry Sid ..she consumed poison on the night of her marrige . Later she tried being a dutifull wife to her hubby. She was ignoring Armaan in every possible way Hurting him & so on & so forth. Throughout the few mnths they were married sid & riddhima hadnt even consumed their marrige coz she was never ready. Even during 2nd marrige we saw she kept on thinking abt Armaan .she was nvr over him. Anyways I dont want to go into DMG details now as this has been told countless times in the AR vs SR wars 😆But here in this TF it was a different story. Niti wasnt forced to marry Akash . she did it on her own will. 5 yrs tht they were married Akash & Niti had consumed their marrige & was husband -wife in true sense. They were shown sharing the same bed ..so its obvious. In DMG riddhima nvr even slept in the same room with sid let alone bed ! Niti & Akash were shown as happily settled . After she meets Vivian her chidhood crush coz i dnt think tht was luv they shared ( Nitis mother too pointed tht out to her in the kitchen ) rekindles & she finds herself attracted towards Vivian .. but tht wasnt luv. Her luv was Akash which she realized in the end. She shared a true husband wife relation with Akash so naturally she came bck to him. This TF was actually luvstory of Akash & niti...the promos were misleading. In DMG the cvs never showed a proper husband wife relation btwn riddhima & sid. sid let her go coz there was no luv in it jst respect & maybe a deep frndship btwn the two . riddhima nvr luved sid. y stick to this kind of marrige just for the heck of ethichs & morals ! m/over armaan & riddhima were matured enough to understand luv they werent chidhood sweethearts unlike this TF . The whole DMG meant AR luvstory & even now its referred to as AR luvstory. After watching AR luvstory for 2 yrs its impossible fr ppl to accept the lovers ending up with different ppl.
