CHAPTER 1

Angad: Sahiba, I can't take it anymore. We need to leave this place. Sahiba: But where will we go, Angad? Angad: Mumbai. We'll start a new life there, just the three of us. Sahiba: But what about our families? Angad: They'll understand eventually. Right now, we need to think about our baby and our future.
Three weeks before
Angad: Mom, Dad, we've come to ask for your blessings for our marriage. Sahiba: Yes, please, we love each other and want to spend our lives together.
Angad's Mom: Absolutely not! Our family will not accept this. Angad's Dad: You've disappointed us, Angad. Angad: But there's something else. Sahiba is pregnant. Sahiba's Mom: What?! How could you let this happen? Sahiba's Dad: This changes everything. We cannot approve of this marriage. Angad: That's why we came to you. We want to start a family together. Sahiba: Please, we need your support now more than ever. Angad's Mom: Get out! Both of you have brought shame upon our family. Sahiba's Dad: Leave now and don't ever come back. Angad: But where will we go? Sahiba: Angad, let's go. We'll figure it out together.
Present time
... Angad's pov
Angad: Sahiba, don't ever mention them again. They are no longer my family.
Sahiba: But Angad... Angad: No, Sahiba. They made their choice. From now on, it's just you, me, and our baby. As Angad and Sahiba stepped out of their parents' house, the weight of their rejection hung heavy in the air. Angad's anger burned within him, fueling his determination to never look back. Sahiba, on the other hand, felt a mixture of sadness and anxiety, but she found solace in Angad's unwavering support. "Angad, where will we go?" Sahiba's voice trembled with uncertainty as they walked away from the house that held so many shattered dreams. "We'll figure it out, Sahiba. But one thing is for sure, we're not staying here," Angad replied, his tone resolute. "We'll go to Mumbai, start fresh, and build a new life for ourselves and our child." Sahiba nodded, her trust in Angad unwavering. She knew that as long as they were together, they could face any challenge that came their way.
As they made their way to the bus station, Sahiba couldn't help but feel a pang of sadness as she thought about her parents. She had always imagined them being a part of her wedding, but now that dream lay shattered.
"Are you okay, Sahiba?" Angad's voice brought her back to the present.
Sahiba forced a smile and nodded. "I'm fine, Angad. Let's go."
They boarded the bus to Mumbai, their hearts heavy with the weight of their decision but also filled with hope for the future.
They boarded the bus to Mumbai, their hearts heavy with the weight of their decision but also filled with hope for the future.
The journey to Mumbai was long and tiring, but Angad and Sahiba found comfort in each other's presence. As they neared the city, excitement and nervousness coursed through their veins. They were about to start a new chapter of their lives, and they were determined to make it a happy one.
Once they reached Mumbai, Angad and Sahiba wasted no time in looking for a place to stay. With the little money they had saved up, they managed to find a small apartment in a modest neighborhood. It wasn't much, but it was a start.
As they settled into their new home, Angad and Sahiba began to make plans for their future. Angad found a job at a local restaurant, while Sahiba started taking sewing classes, hoping to turn her passion into a source of income.
Despite the challenges they faced, Angad and Sahiba were happy. They may not have had their families by their side, but they had each other, and that was all that mattered.
Months passed, and Sahiba's pregnancy progressed. Angad doted on her, making sure she had everything she needed. They didn't have much, but they were determined to give their child the best life possible.
Finally, the day arrived when Sahiba went into labor. Angad rushed her to the hospital, his heart filled with both excitement and fear. After what felt like an eternity, they heard the cry of their baby, and tears of joy filled their eyes as they held their newborn daughter in their arms.
"She's beautiful," Angad whispered, his voice filled with emotion.
Sahiba smiled, her eyes shining with happiness. "Yes, she is. Our little miracle."
As they looked down at their daughter, Angad and Sahiba knew that despite the challenges they had faced, they were exactly where they were meant to be. They may have lost their families, but they had found something even more precious – each other.
And as they looked towards the future, they knew that as long as they had each other, they could overcome anything that came their way. For Angad and Sahiba, their journey was just beginning, and they couldn't wait to see what the future held.
Just as they were about to settle into their new life as a family, a knock on the door sent a shiver down their spines. With a sense of foreboding, Angad opened the door, only to come face to face with someone from their past.
Angad, Sahiba, we need to talk," the familiar voice said, sending chills down their spines.
Who could it be, and what did they want? Angad and Sahiba exchanged worried glances, knowing that their lives were about to be turned upside down once again...
