Chapter 3
2 weeks Later
Settling back into Monga House proved to be a challenging adjustment for Seerat. Accustomed to the comfort of Brar Mansion where household staff handled everything, she now faced the reality of domestic responsibilities in her own home. With Sahiba now married, Seerat couldn't rely on her to handle the chores she had always avoided. As Seerat observed her younger sister Keerat, who had a tendency to be lazy with household tasks, stepping up to assist their mother and Tayji, she gained a newfound appreciation for Sahiba's previous contributions to the household. She realized how much Sahiba had done for them all in her absence.Avoiding household chores became Seerat's priority, and she figured out one effective method—staying out of the house. Determined to pursue her passion for modeling once more, Seerat began sorting through her past modelling photographs and assembling a portfolio to submit to various agencies. Modelling seemed like a way for her to reclaim a sense of purpose and identity beyond the confines of domestic duties.Amidst the bustling activity in Brar Mansion, Garry dove headfirst into his new fashion venture with the backing of his family. Jasleen and Kiara stood by his side, offering support and encouragement as he embarked on this entrepreneurial journey. In the warmth of Brar Mansion, everyone gathered around as Garry unveiled some of his design concepts to Kiara. Angad, gradually softening towards Garry, offered genuine support with a warm smile, extending a hand of assistance whenever needed.Meanwhile, Veer's phone buzzed with an exciting notification, sparking a contagious wave of enthusiasm in the room. With a wide grin, Veer couldn't contain his excitement as he shared his incredible news with his family."Everyone, I have some incredible news to share!" Veer exclaimed eagerly, drawing everyone's attention.Gurleen, his mother, leaned forward with curiosity. "What is it, Veer Puttar?" she asked with anticipation.Veer's face lit up with pride. "Two weeks ago, Keerat encouraged me to post one of my singing videos on social media. Guess what? The song has become a massive hit! It's now listed among the top 10 most popular songs of the week in Punjab!"The room erupted in joy and celebration as cheers and congratulations filled the air. The shared excitement and sense of accomplishment were palpable as Veer's family reveled in his success.Bebe, Veer's grandmother, couldn't contain her joy and enveloped him in a tight hug. "I always knew that your singing career would take off one day, Veer," she exclaimed with a beaming smile."Thank you, Bebe, for your blessings," Veer replied gratefully. "And if it weren't for Keerat's unwavering support, I wouldn't be this happy or have this opportunity."As happiness permeated the gathering, Gurleen, though proud of Veer's success, couldn't help but feel a twinge of disappointment at the mention of Keerat's name. She believed her son deserved more recognition and support. Yet, as Sahiba and Angad exchanged knowing glances and smiles, Sahiba felt a surge of pride for her brother-in-law and her younger sister, who was unconditionally supporting her love.Amidst the laughter and brotherly camaraderie, Sahiba couldn't help but feel the absence of her sisters, reminiscing about the bond they shared and yearning for their presence in this joyous moment.
Monga House
Keerat was in her room going through all of her clothes and Sahiba pre-marriage clothes. She wanted to make more of an effort in the way she dresses and become more girly. She remembered when her and Veer confessed there feelings Infront of the family Gurleen’s issue was the way Keerat dresses like a boy. She wanted to get accepted by Veer’s mother whole heartedly. As she continued to go through the things Seerat walked in and was shocked to see the mess she had created.Keerat looked up from the pile of clothes she was sorting through as Seerat entered the room. "Seerat Di!" Keerat exclaimed with a smile. "Sorry about the mess."Seerat chuckled, glancing around at the scattered garments. "Keerat, what's going on here? “Are you planning a fashion revolution?"Blushing slightly, Keerat nodded. "Well, sort of," she admitted shyly. "I want to change my appearance a bit, you know? Be more... girly."Seerat raised an eyebrow playfully. "Ah, I see. Is this all because of Veer?" she teased, nudging Keerat with a mischievous smile.Keerat's cheeks turned even redder. "Maybe a little," she confessed, trying to suppress a smile.Seerat grinned. "Oh, , don't tell me you're trying to impress my dear brother-in-law!" she exclaimed teasingly, her eyes twinkling with amusement.Keerat rolled her eyes but couldn't hide her grin. "Come on, Seerat Di. It's not just about Veer. I just want to feel more confident and feminine."Seerat softened her teasing tone, her expression fond. "I get it, Keerat. You deserve to feel good about yourself. And if this is your way of winning over Gurleen Mami, I'm all for it."Keerat nodded gratefully. "Thanks, Seerat Di. Your support means a lot."Their playful banter faded for a moment as both sisters exchanged a wistful look."I miss Sahiba Di," Keerat confessed, her voice tinged with longing. "Everything feels different without her."Seerat nodded in agreement, her gaze distant with memories. "Yeah, she was the glue that held us all together.""I hope she's happy with Angad Jiju," Keerat said softly, her thoughts lingering on their sister's absence."She deserves all the happiness in the world," Seerat replied, a hint of sadness in her tone. "We'll see her soon, I'm sure."As they continued sorting through the clothes, the room felt quieter, filled with unspoken sentiments of missing their beloved sister. In that shared moment of reflection, Keerat and Seerat found solace in their memories of Sahiba. With the help of Seerat, Keerat had managed to find her new style which was long maxi skirt with a blouse. As she was ging to meet Veer, Seerat had helped her get ready.
Café Amigo
Veer was patiently waiting for Keerat to arrive. He was awestruck when he seen her enter wearing a emerald green skirt with a white shirt. Her hair was tied up in a lose bun and she had worn some simple hoops. Veer- “Wow you look absolutely beautiful Keerat”,“Thank you” she blushedThey both sat down and ordered some Indo Chinese foodVeer- Keerat I am so grateful for you, without your support “O Kudi” wouldn’t have reached where it is today,Keerat- Please don’t thank me Veer, this is the least I can do for you,Veer took Keerat’s hand across the table and they both got engrossed in talking about there family.Keerat- “Seerat Di has decided to start modelling again, she really wants to do something with her career now, I am so proud of her”Veer- “No-way, that’s so good, isn’t it strange that Garry has started a fashion venture and is looking for some models for the launch”Keerat- “OMG really, that’s so good, what if Garry gets Seerat Di to do some modelling for him, ”Veer- “Yes that would be amazing, they could spend more time with each other and hopefully save their marriage”They both continued to talk and enjoy their meal when suddenly 2 of Veer’s fans came requesting an autograph and selfie from him. It was a new feeling for Veer, Keerat was also proud up until on of the fans kissed his cheek. This made Veer uncomfortable and Keerat angry, before Keerat could say something the fans ran off. "Are you okay, Veer?" Keerat asked, her tone protective.Veer chuckled awkwardly. "Yeah, it's all part of the territory, I guess."Keerat's expression softened, but her protective stance remained. "No one should invade your personal space like that. You handled it well, though."Veer smiled gratefully at Keerat. "Thanks, Keerat. Your support means a lot."As they resumed their meal, Veer reflected on the unexpected challenges of fame, grateful to have Keerat by his side, always ready to stand up for him.
Angad and Sahiba Room
Angad and Sahiba had settled into a comfortable routine. After breakfast, Angad headed to the office while Sahiba attended college. She returned home, managed her tasks, and assisted with dinner preparations. In the evenings, Angad joined the family after work. Later, in their room, they shared stories about their day and enjoyed watching a movie together, savoring these quiet moments amid their bustling lives. It was a tranquil evening in Sahiba and Angad's room as they enjoyed a lighthearted movie together. The scene from "3 Idiots" prompted Sahiba to innocently wonder aloud about the practicalities of kissing, not realizing the effect her words had on Angad.Sahiba: "Does the nose really come in the way?"Listening to Sahiba's question, Angad's face broke into a playful smirk, his eyes twinkling with mischief.Angad: "Well, we can find out right now if the nose gets in the way or not."Sahiba looked at her husband, her cheeks tinged with a blush, as he moved closer towards her. His eyes silently sought permission, and she met his gaze, feeling a rush of anticipation.Sahiba: *softly* "Yes..."They leaned in together, sharing their first kiss—a gentle and tender exchange filled with warmth and intimacy. Time seemed to stand still as they melted into the sweetness of the moment, their hearts beating in sync with the playful scene unfolding on screen. In that serene and magical moment, Sahiba and Angad shared a newfound connection, their bond deepening with each heartbeat and every shared breath, all against the backdrop of a cozy movie night. After they broke the kiss, Angad couldn't help but smile at Sahiba, his eyes filled with affection.Angad: "See, the nose didn't get in the way at all."Sahiba blushed, a playful glint in her eyes.Sahiba: "I guess Pia was right then."Angad chuckled, feeling a rush of warmth at Sahiba's bashful response.Angad: "You and your questions, Sahiba. Always keeping me on my toes."Their playful banter slowly gave way to a comfortable silence, their eyes locked in a dance of unspoken emotions. Angad reached out to gently tuck a strand of Sahiba's hair behind her ear, his touch tender and filled with quiet affection.Angad: "You know, watching this movie with you feels different tonight."Sahiba's heart fluttered at his words, her gaze softening.Sahiba: "Different in a good way, I hope?"Angad nodded, a smile playing on his lips.Angad: "Absolutely. It feels like... we're writing our own story."Sahiba's breath caught in her throat, the realization of their shared journey washing over her.Sahiba: "Our story... I like the sound of that."Angad's eyes locked onto Sahiba's, his voice soft but filled with unwavering sincerity. Angad: "And it's a story I never want to end."Their eyes spoke volumes, their hearts resonating with a newfound depth of connection. In that moment, amidst the flickering light of the movie, Sahiba and Angad embraced the sweet essence of their evolving love story, each chapter filled with promise and the gentle anticipation of what lay ahead.
+Seerat wants to do modelling to avoid household chores....
+Do you think Keerat is doing the right thing by suddenly changing herself?
Next Part
= Seerat and Garry meet for the first time after she left Brar Mansion
= Santosh is worried about Keerat changing herself
Amazing chapter,I love the Sahan bond and how veer didn't try to defend the fans that kissed his cheek(like in the show). Can't wait to see garry and seerat meet
I personally think Keerat shouldn't change herself completely, but yeah she can take efforts and modify some of her habits which are feasible but change completely as a whole will make her lose her individuality.
