Anyways Angad’s concern for sahiba’s safety is wrong .. once the person is out of his life he must know better than to interfere …hope he understands it and moves away gracefully accepting that she is out forever and her safety is her and her family’s concern now not his 👍

Yes, na bole tum had very strong characterization of the female lead (felt very unique even in those days when we had variety of fls from Gopi bahu to Khusi to Jeevika)

Gone are those days of itv, it is all about 2 women 1 man, lost count of how many shows are based on this concept.

But the writers intention with this track is not to show independent women.

Isn't it obvious writer is making Sahiba say these things so she can eat her words later, not to highlight atmanirbhar women. Because the moment she steps out to live in a hostel, she gets a stalker who she obviously can't fight against , needs a husband to protect as she is being stubborn. So ultimately women chosing to live away from husband and maayka cannot successfully do so according to narrative.

And yes, she is not empowered in any way, she is hiding from mohalla when her og characterization never cared about mohalla aunties. Khori from Gc used to go to her home and answer back , even Sahiba had answered back post Garry reveal that she does not care about mohalla but suddenly she does because she got to land in trouble and return back to ex.

Agree with how cheaply they portray women on Hindi gec, and it is sad that they took a good (flawed) regional show with strong female characters , even Seerats character was strong who had some motivation for her actions, had many shades, here all she does is talk nonsense to everyone and everyone just hides her nonsense or get enamored with her for no reason.

People keep saying they glorify lusty bhabis but here all they show is bhabi is after jeth/devar relentlessly.

This isnot women empowerment show a love story between the flawed characters .but the irritating things is using the women empowerment hide FL arrogance & flaws that is funny& irritating

People dont mind when FL do unbelievable things to save ML but FL takes ML help is problem against feminism 😂
