Today's episode is highly toxic and Promblematic!!

Seriously...I just don't believe what I saw towards the end of today's episode. I mean until a point I was loving the bit of Sahiba giving it back to Manbeer left , right , center! Then ofcourse it was cringing to see Garry at his lowest best instigating Angad ....but what happened post that just ended up being super toxic and problematic to my eyeeee.....😡

LIKE HOW CAN THIS LEVEL OF MISCONDUCT BE NoRMALISED ON TV EVEN TODAY? I JUST DONT GET IT. THIS TOTALLY GOES DOWN AS MENTAL/EMOTIONAL ABUSE AND attempt to SEXUAL ASSUALT I pathetic MANHANDLING IN MY DICTIONARY...so freaking TOXIC AND UNACCEPTABLE...DID THEY REALLY JUST SHOW ANGAD AT HIS LOWEST??? LIKE THEY JUST BUTCHERED HIS CHARACTER ARC IN MY EYES WITH THIS...EVEN IF IT WAS UNDER THE FREAKING INFLUENCE OF ALCOHOL...

like veer did his best to stop Angadd! but the man just pushed Veer away...even his father spotted him wandering all drunk near Sahiba's room and called daarji saying all thanks to you we have another person turning alcoholic in this family....but then he walked away...after and did not see Angad entering Sahiba's room...only Veer did...(Assuming Veer will bring this out to light...eventually...)

ANYWAYS NOW BACK TO THE MOST TOXIC BIT... I CAN'T FREAKING DIGEST YET...

ANGAD SINGH BRAR - WHAT THE HELL IS FREAKING WRONG WITH YOU???????? HOW DARE YOU ACT LIKE THIS TOWARDS A WOMAN???

LIKE MY BLOODS ALL BOILING GUYS...WHY COULDNT THEY JUST CUT THIS SEQUENCE...WHY DID THEY HAVE TO SHOW ANGAD STOOPING SO LOW...IN MY OPINION...THIS IS FREAKING JUST UNACCEPTABLE...

Like he seemed to have legit lost it with claiming sick things like...you'v ruined me, hurt me, now you see how i will ruin you, hurt you, IMPLYING he is there to force himself on her...while advancing towards her and manhandling her side by side...like good on sahiba to freaking just shove him back so many times...she was infact going out to call his family to witness his misconduct when he ended up raging - i love you...for seeirat(ofcourse)

ughh. ughh. like this just did it for me...I feel like I am so done with this particular torturous pathetic toxic arc in TMD!

So - until yesterday I was penning down a FF - Mere Dil Ki Daily Dastaan - which was attempt at showing Angad* Sahiba's POV going through their respective turmoils...but post todays episode...I don't think i can continue depitcting either of their respective POV"s in line with what they are showing in the show or might show in the coming future... because...I simply don't resonate with it...as in...Angad shouldn't have freaking done any of this in the first place and now that he has...in my opinion Sahiba shouldn't just tolerate it...and should freaking just walk out the brar mansion..come what may...no matter what the consequences...

Hence, now am planning to start a New - Story - Shattered - in which I will explore writing...the tale of TMD here on(post this disgusting event)....as per my fictional imagination....starting with Sahiba freaking walk out of this crap - the next morning...

Ughhh...like.....blood's still boiling rethinking of Angad's misconduct...😭

The episode was super disturbing. I am sure the makers will bring up that he was under alcoholic influence. The writers should understand consuming alcohol is not an excuse to commit a crime. To consume alcohol was his bloody choice. They should also understand that attempt to molest a women is also a crime as per law. Already many women in our country are going through marital rapes and rape attempt. Just because Sahiba was physically a strong women she got save from the attempt otherwise Angad would have got succeeded. Sahiba has good mental strength but a rape attempt leaves any women scarred & traumatic. It can even lead to PTSD or severe depression. It’s not a small thing for a women. What more worse is Sahiba caring for Angad in precap. Even if his confession is meant to Sahiba (a very rare chance) it’s not ok. He bloody attempted to molest her seconds ago. Technically she should be scared of him. She should be calling the family members and leave the house. Lodge a complaint in police and walk away from this toxic relationship.

But it's ITV. They are going to act as if it's no big deal. The ML is sad and have consumed alcohol but he is a good man so the FL and us should forgive him readily

iTv have normalised such behaviour of MLs for so long and they continue to do so.

It’s pretty sad that itv don’t want to change regarding these matters. They very well had a choice to change the forcing sequence. Angad could have came drunk in her room & talked to her and pour out his emotions rather than forcing her

Today's precap is another level! Why on earth is sahiba tending Angad after his misbehaviour! Isn't she frightened to see a man behaving that way to her! It's a nightmare for every girl to encounter an alcoholic with sexual advances! I too didn't like anything..right from Manbeer to Angad!

Didn't the brother saw him moving towards Sahiba's room intoxicated! How can he allow him to go near that room!

In which way is Angad a victim..and Sahiba is the traitor!

Are the shows from this production house is like this..I love to watch shows where is light heartedness.This show is not for me

Yeah even I felt it weird how come Veer didn't stop him. He knew angad and sahiba's every meeting gets pretty heated. So even if he didn't imagine angad misbehaving with sahiba he could very well hit her too in his anger or do anything.

veer was only sane character left on the show but looks like everyone becomes intelligent and normal conveniently. An ITV syndrome

Correct or even why Angad need to come to her room he might would have been wandering the house in his intoxicated state and crying and sahiba hears him or saves him when he is falling down or something

That would have made more sensible and genuine scene.

By making today's episode they have made angad a complete villian

This whole show has become pure toxic.

...I so agree with you...it would have been so much better off if he'd just poured out in pain being drunk rather than this nonsense...this is monster level misconduct yaar....how can this be normalised...i just dont understand...its so very disturbing....

sometimes i just dont get ITV yaar...like the way they show male leads being so disrespectful etc...like i just dont get this charaterization of being downright disgraceful...which is why...always in my fictions on arshi ..also...in the past....i'v mostly steered towards writing a new fresh story only all together penning down my own characters+ strories rather than follow the show arcs....with the male lead...being like super sorted/respectful/jovial/light hearted and most importantly grounded....

and yup - kinda mad at sahiba from the show for like thinking of tolerating this crap...😭

These days ITV feels more regressive than it was before. I mean most of them support bigamy, ema and depicts a woman is to be considered married if sindor falls on her head even if accidentally or forcefully. Most of the time the main occupation of the saree clad FL is to suffer injustice and abuse piled on her by the sasural, yet stay loyal and save her pati and sasural from all evil. They play romantic songs while hero manhandles the heroine!

Seriously ITV shows are decades behind real Indian time where women have careers other than being sati savitri bahu!!
