Anupriya thrilled to visit Dagduseth

Anupriya Kapoor, who became famous as Taani in Tere Liye, is chilling at home these days.

But she isn't whiling her time away. Instead Anupriya visited the famous Dagduseth Ganpati Temple in Pune. She talks her visit and experiences.

Anupriya claims, "This visit was the first time I ever went to Pune. I never got time to go to Pune and this was a good opportunity to visit Dagduseth Halwai Ganpati Temple which is one of the oldest Ganpati temples in Pune,Maharashtra. The pandal and lord Ganesha's moorti (statue) was marvelous. It was superb standing less than 100 meters from the statue and we did the darshan properly and even the aarti. I felt wonderful. The whole atmosphere was super festive and mesmerizing."

She not only enjoyed the darshan but also the ride back and forth to Pune. "The highway had waterfalls, fog and rain too. The weather was superb and made everything seem more fun and exciting. I felt I was driving through a hill station. As I am from the North, I felt it was Kullu Manali or Panchmari," she smiles.

Talking about her wishes and prayers, Anupriya says, "Once you look into Lord Ganesha's eyes, you forget everything else. I did wish for the health and peace for my family and loved ones. I have been to Lalbaugh earlier and I want to see the other famous Ganpatis too." Probably next year, Anupriya.
