Chapter-9 Taani's past haunts her...

Taani didn't replied. Tears rolled down her cheeks.

Voice: Kya hua Taani. Itne chup kyun ho? Oh! let me guess, tum mujhe yahan par expect nahi kar rahi thi. Right? hmm... Voh kutch dinon ke liye main kisi kaam se kolkata aaya hoon. Toh maine socha ki main tumse bhi mil loon.Vaise maine suna ki tumne auntie ke ghar chod diya. Khair mujhe pata hai ki meri Taani ne voh ghar choda toh kutch soch samajh ke hi choda hoga.Vaise jahan tak mujhe patah hai ki tum singer banna chahti ho... Tum kaho toh main tumhari kutch helpp..

Taani: Koi zaroorat nahi hai. Tum baar baar mere samne kyun aajate ho?

Voice: Arre Taani tum toh gussa ho gayi. Tumhe patah hai tumhari ye halat dekh kar mujhe bohat afsos hota hai.

Taani somehow controlled her anger. And looked upon him with a question?

Taani's POV:

At Anurag' house

The party has begun. Nilanjana and Shekhar were waiting for their daughter and son-in-law.

Neelu:

Ye Ritesh aur Ananya abhi tak aye kyun nahi?

Shekhar:

Before Robindo could complete Anurag interrupted.

Anurag:

And here Taani somehow contolled herself and called mouli.

Taani(sobbingly): Haan Mouli tu kahan hai?

Mouli: Taani!! tu ro rahi hai. Aakhir baat kya hai?

Mouli: Taani tu meri wait kar main abhi aati hoon.

Taani: Theek hai.

After 15 minutes

Mouli: Haan Taani bol kya hua? Tu itne tense kyun lag rahi hai?

And she narrated the whole story to Mouli.

Mouli: Kya? Voh Kolkata mein.. Khair Taani tu vahan se bina kutch bole chali aayi vahi teri galti thi.Voh tujhe hamesha kamzor hi samjhega.

Taani didn't replied.

Mouli: Chal voh sabh chod. It's quite late. Anurag teri wait kar raha hoga.

And she dragged Taani to her car.

At Anurag's house

Robindo and Anurag waiting for Taani and Mouli.

Anurag: Robi ye Taani abhi tak aayi kyun nahi? Aaj mein jo bhi uske baare mein feel karta hoon use bata kar hi rahunga.

Robindo: Kya dada, jab dekho tab Taani taani taani. Aap Taani ko chodiye, ye Mouli abhi tak kyun nahi aaye.

Both went at the door and welcome Taani and Mouli.

Taani just smiled.

Anurag: Taani aao main tumhe apne dad ke kutch best friends se milvaata hoon.

Taani: hmmm..

Anurag led Taani to his dad's business partners and friends.

Anurag: Inse milo, ye hai Mr. Chatterji aur ye Mr. Agarwal. Aur voh..

Anurag introduced Taani to some of his and his dad's friend.And then Anurag pointed towards a women who was talking on phone. Her back side was visible.

Anurag: Aao mein tumhe un se milvaata hoon.

Anurag kept his hand on the lady's shoulder and she turned back.

Anurag: Ye Sheethal bannerji, baba ki best friend aur business partner.

Now Taani was able to see the lady's face clearly. And it was Sheethal only. Taani was shocked to see her.And Sheethal too.

Taani(in her mind): Ye mere saath aaj kya ho raha hai?

Anurag: Aap donon ek doosre ko jaante hain kya? Well apke expression dekh kar toh aisa hi lag raha hai.

Sheethal: No no, Anurag not at all.

By the time Mouli saw Taani. Anurag and Sheethal. She got tensed.

Robindo: Kya hua Mouli?

Mouli: Robindo main abhi aayi.

And she went to them.

Mouli to Taani

Mouli: Taani idhar aana jara mujhe tujh se kutch baat karni hai...

And Mouli took Taani to a corner.

Mouli: You are alright na, Taani?

Taani: Of course Mouli.

In the party

Robindo: By the way ye mere mom-dad hain aur ye meri di aaj hi US se aayi hain.

Robindo: Di abhi tak jeeju nahi aaye?
