Hi everyone,

If u see the first episode, Tani calls herself Tani Basu so I am guessing she eventually does get married to Ritesh

But in that very first episode Tani also calls Anurag her pati....what about that then???😛

My sincere suggestion???Sit back and relax while watching these daily soaps...and NEVER try to analyze...

If we're going to consider Taani Basu as not a blooper, then maybe we should also consider her not marrying Riteish to be true, because Riteish's name was never Basu to start with, it was Sengupta. I'm surprised at how selective people's memories can get! 😆

And if you listen to Taani's dialgues today, then there is no doubt that she is incapable of ever marrying anyone else because even she said that "Hum bachpan mein ek thee, aaj bhi ek hai, aur humesha ek rahegi tho main kisi aur se shaadi kaise kar sakti." So I'm sure there is no chance of Taani ever marrying Ritesh, let alone anyone else.

Or is it Ritesh's? BTW, she DOES say that Anu is her 'pati' in the first episode.

Could be that "technically" she DOES marry Ritesh, assuming his last name is Basu. And that's what makes Anu go crazy???

I'm going crazy waiting for the show to jump into the present ... WHAT MAKES ANU CRAZY!!!!!???!!!!

Well...if we go by the first episode, I remember that many of the assumptions on Onu's surname was that it would be Basu...after Anurag Basu of KZK, but later Taani's maiden name started oscillating between Banerjee and Chatterjee, esp during the bachcha track, and Riteish's name in the beginning itself was Sengupta before becoming Basu post leap. I don't think the CVs would ever touch the Riteish and Taani marriage idea with a bargepole now, considering the uproar against it this time and the falling TRPs.
