Tere Liye . . . What's Going On?

As you can see I am new to this forum. I have been contemplating for a while now of whether or not to join this forum. I come often to read some interesting and amusing discussions and obviously to watch Tere Liye. One line that makes me smile and laugh is how some religiously repeat the following phrase, "Anu Tani ke Pati Hai." -- I just love it, and it always keeps my hopes up whenever a heart wrenching twist occurs! With out saying, I truly admire Tani's character and Anu. As cliche as it sounds, their love is beautiful. I also find Robindo's character mysterious. Currently he is a Tragic Hero. I am eager to find how is other side unfolds. Love can make you, or ruin you as clearly depicted by Robindo and of course Ananya Di. I find that particular name, Ananya lovely. What about you guys, who is your favorite character or least favorite character?

I am glad that there is such a forum where a whole group is dedicated to a wonderful drama. This is actually one of the first hindi drama's I got interested in watching. I was not a big of them. I started watching Tere Liye in mid October 2010. As of today there are 163 episodes. That is intense! I have missed out on a good chunk of this story. If you, respective Tere Liye fans do not mind. . . can you please enlighten me with key events up until October 2010. I was completely unaware that Tani is narrating the storing herself until someone pointed that out. Her name is Tani Basu. That means that Tani never married Anu? I refuse to believe that, I must have missed out on major concepts that built this story thus far.

Every Friday there is a solid ending that makes me excited to look forward to Monday! I am not sure about you guys but I think Tani does marry Ritesh. And do you really believe that Nupur has changed for the better. She does appear mentally unstable. . .

And I feel the "Taani Basu" is a blooper as when they first aired the episode that time Anurag was Base and not Ganguly but later they changed it....

And that time Ritesh was Sengupta if I remember correctly, so I am sure Taani wont marry Ritesh...😃

We all are waiting for the dreamy TaAnu wedding....😉

Soaps1 - Thank-You for the warm welcome 😊 You are right. . . Anu Tani ke Pati hai ya hum sub ko Monday pe zor ka jhatka lage ga! 😆 Ha ha ha I like that song, "Zor Ka Jhatka" from Action Replay. If Taani happens to marry Ritesh then such much shadi ban gayi umar qaid ki sazaa!😒 (Pardon my hindi, I understand it but I am not used to typing/writing it.)

@tellybuff123 - That is an interesting perspective on Ritesh's character. However, I am not convinced that Ritesh has actually changed since Ananya's death or when he said that for the last three months he realised how much he loves her and Koohoo and left Gulabo. This could be another act. He loves money. 🤔
