STAR Plus' Tere Liye is on its mark to hit the century. The unique love saga of Taani and Anurag will be completing 100 episodes next week and the cast and the unit of the show is overjoyed.
But along with the good news comes the sad news that Robindo aka Rajat Tokas is planning to quit the show. Apparently, the lad is not too excited with the way his character is shaping up on the show. Sources from the show inform us that he sustained an injury on his back while shooting for the two hour maha episode that aired on October 16th. After that Robindo has stopped reporting on the sets citing severe back pain as the reason.
Informs our source from the show, "Rajat Tokas who plays Anurag's brother is planning to quit the show as he is not very happy with his track. He expected the track to focus on him which is not happening. The story is about Anurag and Taani and one can't shift the focus off them. Robindo sustained back injury while shooting for the special episode of the show and told the unit to capture his close-ups and keep the rest for later. But after that he didn't come for the shoot. Yesterday the episode was repeated as he didn't report for the shoot."
When contacted, Robindo said, "Well yes I am pondering the idea of quitting the show, but can't confirm anything as yet. I am a little confused at the moment. Also I have been told there are lot of things in store for me which I was told right in the beginning. I have just returned from the hospital so not in the right frame of mind."
Well next week certainly calls for a celebration as the cast that has been working hard for the show is proud of completing 100 successful episodes. Says Nilanjana, Anurag's mother, "My God, I didn't realise that we have actually reached the mark of 100. Time just flew by and we are completing a century. This certainly calls for a party but then we really don't need a reason to celebrate. As we keep throwing party without any reasons. Last time I had invited all my co-actors to my house over dinner and what fun it was. We were partying till 4 am and reported on the sets at 7:00 am. The ensemble cast of the show is so close knit with each other. Well now that we are completing 100 episodes, I think we will have a party at Supriya ji's place (Taani's mother) as its long due. Her family is going to Delhi during Diwali and she will be home alone. Doesn't she need company? I am just being considerate (laughs)."

ayoooo dats saaaaaaaaaad..... im gonna miss rajat but if he decides to quit da show, i wont blame him cz i guess dats his choice as his character is def not gettin any major presence on screen which s really sad....

Will surely Miss Rajat but if he decides to quit i think he is making a Right Decision better late than Never. I blame CVs for giving so much hopes to him about his role and not keeping Anything . Poor Rajat wish u speedy recovery but i loved him as Robby i cant see him leaving the show . Creatives please do something 😔
I dont think even the story is completely conc on Taanu too . They are conc more on side chars . Wake up creatives before its too late . Give space to every character esp the leads and another love Traingle of Robby-Mauli and Taposh . Pretty Please
