Anurag is doing wrong no debating that but he is not doing it intentionally he just don't know wha he is donig because he grew up emotionally disturbed and for me Anurag is not a hero, he is just another human being ... and i did not mention once the future story when i spoke about Anurag in my post above ... if you are talking about someone else's post then its ok

I am questioning Anu's own feeling. We are all saying that he did not tell Taani that he loves her openly. Was the confession necessary? But he had realized he loves her...didn't he? So as Taani. Taani also realized she loves him but kept waiting for him...
If we have to argue 'Taani had family that is why she kept her love alive and Anu did not have anyone to take care of so his love died....', then the argument itself is weak. Taani's family has always objected and hated Anu's family in front of her for 8 yrs. It should have some effect on her young mind too right? But no, her love grew strong... In Anuraag's case his so called love is strong only when the lover is in front of her? When he left her he thought her as more than a friend...but when he came back he tagged that relationship as 'FRIENDSHIP'.

Yes he did realise he loves Taani but if you watch his scene with Taani carefully and try and understand what he said, you will see where he is coming from, Onu was only 15 when he felt he loves Taani, he started feeling that way only after they were married because he observed his parents that how they behave as Husband and wife and take care of each other ... so when he was sent abroad and punished for taking care of Taani what in his mind was "as a husband" and he went through the emotional trauma he realized that he was probably wrong in thinking that way and if their parents had not married them off, he would have just remain friends with her and had not felt love for her ... to add to that Taani too had told him she does not accept the marriage ... so he felt he was wrong in thinking he loves Taani and decided to keep her as a friend only. 15 is not a mature age that what we feel at that age will remain like that only for all of us. Taani and Anurag are two different people who went through different emotional traumas ... for Taani she had hope that Anurag will be back for her ... Anurag had no hope that Taani can ever be his because Taani herself had told him she will never accept him as her husband and Lobini had broken all ties with them too!
For me its not a question of who is right and who is wrong, its about understanding the characters ... What Anurag is doing is wrong but it does not make him a cheat because he is not emotionally strong to choose between right and wrong and that is because of the emotional trauma he went through as a kid. Taani went through a lot too but she still had a mother's support to guide her, to keep her happy, to share things with, she had her brother, she was in touch with her school friends, Anurag on the other hand not only lost his best friend but also every other person including his two moms he was emotionally dependent on ... so Anurag grew up to be a emotionally weaker and traumatized human being

I don't see any problem if had moved on in his life with Nupur in US only if had not acted as husband and lover to Taani. Only if had not accepted that marriage.

As it stands now, he has completely erased that love feeling what he had at his teenage.

Circumstances led him to and i have posted my understanding of that already, Anurag has grown up to be a confused human being emotionally ... and as per Neelu's dialogue pre-leap because he was punished for what was not his fault he now thinks of right as wrong and wrong as right

Anurag is not a hero. nor perfect, he has his flaws, his weaknesses but those flaws and weaknesses are a result of whatever happened to him and whatever he may be doing he is anything but a cheat because cheat is when you promise something and then don't deliver he has not promised anything to Taani yet that he has not delivered!

And difference of opinion is a good thing, if there would be no difference of opinion, there would be no forum 😆

I agree Onu does not come across as a typical good hero that we expect him to be. And even if he says that he is not in love with Taani, then he shoudl have made tha very clear to her.. Remember the cafe scene when he said his current fav colour is black and tells her that doesn't mean she should start weaing only blacks now clearly shows that he knew she loved him and more than as a friend. How many people would wear a colour just because their best friend loves it unless they are in love?
