Is TIMG an official remake of TVD?

The story characters and now even the dialogues are full on copy of TVD. I wonder if this is an official adaptation ? Coz in this day and age such blatant plagiarism will lead to legal complications na?

If it is an official adaptation why change the vampires to Bhediya? To keep audience guessing ?
Since they are literally copying the exact thing, the vampire folklore makes more sense.

And what will Klaus be? He was a vampire werewolf hybrid. Will TIMG-Klaus be a werewolf and bull hybrid?

They first called it as primary adaption. they will bring changes , so i guess they are going to be changed the story on their way. but wohi almost same hi

With the Tej Avantika angle, I thought the same too but off late even dialogues are a literal translation from Eng to hindi.

The Tej-Avantika angle & first two weeks episodes did give me an inkling they will do something different from TVD after a couple of episodes and some from the main cast did say they will digress from tvd eventually but the last few weeks have been literal translation of each and every scenes of TVD so either they never had any plans to do something on their own or decided to copy tvd scene by scene abruptly first two weeks. Answering your question now. I don't really think the show is "official remake" of TVD which might cost the PH to spend a fortune in buying the remake rights🤪possibly why they made the brothers bhediya instead of vampires.
