First of all, Hello to the regulars at the TEI Forum. I have been following TEI since the beginning but have never been an active member in the forum till today. With everything that is going on, I decided to share my thoughts here and hope it doesn't hurt anyone.
I know this may be surprising but I am a Twinj fan, actually more so a Kunj fan from the starting of the serial but now that Siddhant has left, I really think they should have ended Kunj's character instead of this ridiculous Kunj is back for Revenge story line. I can already predict that it will butcher all of Kunj's initial characteristics. Though I like Naman Shaw as well, I still feel this story line will eventually not do any justice to Kunj's character.
Coming to Twinkle & Yuvraj, well Zain is one good actor and I actually see more potential in the story line of Twinkle moving forward with Yuvraj and how he too slowly changes for the better to be first a friend to Twinkle and a father figure to her baby and then later moving on to maybe a solid love story between the two. Seeing a character go from pure negative to positive does have more appeal especially since Yuvraj's character was technically built that way due to his mom's emphasis on revenge from young. And this track actually reminds me of Madhubala's RK who eventually turned positive as well but the street smart quality in him remained which is what I see for Yuvraj as well where he is turning positive but it's more of a human change then straight turning from the Devil to God, to give a literal example.
Having said this, I really think the CVs should stick Yuvraj and Twinkle's story moving forward and not to go on a merry go round with new Kunj taking revenge and then falling in love with Twinkle again at which point I guess they will turn Yuvraj evil once more cause ek villain toh banta hei and I feel that is just STUPID to say the least.
An extra point that I'm mentioning at the end is that TEI is supposed to be a youth based love story and let's be frank, Naman does not fit into that which eventually beats the original story of TEI and of course Kunj ka character assassination would have been done by that point which leaves us with a show that does not have any of the essence of the original TEI except for Jasmin & Zain.
P.S. Once again to all hardcore Twinj & Kunj fans, I hope this does not strike the wrong nerve. Like I said earlier, I too was a Kunj fan but at the end of the day, I prefer a good story than having my favourite character be there just for namesake. Hope you'll will also give that a thought.
