This is probably my last lengthy post on this forum regarding the show because once Sidhant Gupta fully decides to leave and actually does, I'm fully done with the show. I say fully because even though I can't bring myself to watch the episodes now knowing what 99% lies ahead, I am reading the updates and looking at caps and all. I've been watching Indian dramas for as long as I can remember but only two shows garnered my attention & love to such a great extent. The first was Qubool Hai where I fell in love with Asad & Zoya. KSG, like Sid did not want to renew his contract and that was a choice I respected back then for that actor and I chose I respect now for Sid. Yesterday if anyone was displeased with Sid's actions, it was SOLELY because none of us, NONE know when Sid's contract expires. So the possibility that he was breaking away from the show BEFORE his contract was expiring caused confusion and displeasure, NOT hatred. Now that articles have come out on numerous sites saying Sid has no specific interest to renew his contract coming up, I'm 100% sure no one on this forum has a problem with him choosing to leave as an actor who has better projects available. We all agree that he deserves better as an actor, and now my problem lies with the makers/writers/whoever is responsible. No I do not want every other cast member to lose their job and livelihood because one actor got a better offer, that's not fair I agree. But I've seen this go down man. KSG was replaced by Rakesh as Asad, more than 3/4 of that fandom left right away. And you know what happened in the end? Asad & Zoya were killed off.

It's fairly obvious that very few people will remain as viewers to the show once Sidhant Gupta departs because Twinj created the magic of the show, and Sidmin were the reason we connected so well to this pair. If they bring in a replacement, it's not going to make anyone happy. I remember respecting Rakesh so much when he took KSG's role because that was a scary thing to do with all the fan following. The poor guy got so much hate. What's the freaking point of dragging this serial when the replacement will receive hate from fans who go to that extent, and then the drama will fall apart eventually. QH became a story about black magic, like W*F. I CANNOT see TEI go down the same route, I really can't.

Tashan-E-Ishq is a show I adore with all my heart for numerous reasons:

1. The characters shown and the relationships explored.

2. The fast paced tracks that didn't drag & kept us glued to our screens.

3. TWINJ (Sidmin)

4. The bonding of the trio <3 #Zidmin

5. The family I made here--most important of them all-- Honestly you guys got me through some of the toughest experiences of my life. Fangirling here on a DAILY basis, waiting for Areeba's analysis and discussing with everyone, drooling over the leads, and oh my god #nightsquad. So I'm not going anywhere, I'm here to stay on the forum, and not the show cause I can't see someone else take Sid's role as Kunj Sarna.

A show is not only about the characters for me, the visuals, the chemistry, it's all SO important. Sid and Jas have created Twinj and I can't see anyone change that.

Also, I'm done playing nice. Honestly I swear if ANYONE tries to attack my friends on this forum for not being "true fans" I'm not staying quiet. It truly is like banging your head against a wall but NO OKAY. It's not okay. No one on this forum has EVER supported Twinkle & Yuvi getting together. No one has EVER hated on Sid, Jas or Zain. If you really think that by liking Zain for his acting and his sweet personality automatically means we aren't fans of Sid, all I'm gonna do is laugh in your face. And anyone saying that we didn't support Sid when his character was being sidelined, you're wrong. Many people have pointed it out that Kunj's role has diminished since the Devika track and that's why with the promo of Twinkle thinking Yuvi changed, the FOCUS was on Kunj and Yuvi.

Jas in many interviews has said that while she is hot tempered and blunt, Sid is the sweet kind who in a friendly manner can get what he wants. That is why I doubt he's leaving the show SOLELY because of less screenspace. He has a good relationship with his director, he could've negotiated. So DONT you dare come telling us we aren't real fans and have wanted him to leave all along. Cause that's just bullsh*t.

OH and if I see another tweet randomly criticizing IF and its members and calling us weird, I'm gonna lose my shit. So it better stop.

Teds I don't need to tell you that I completely agree with you because you already know. SidMin have and always will be Twinj for me. No other actor can replace Sid as Kunj. And I will cherish the scenes we've gotten in the last 10 months or so. I can quite happily binge the whole show from the beginning and be content with what I've received so far.

Tbh Teds you shouldn't even need to justify our stance because there is nothing that needs justifying.

Honestly it makes no difference to me if anyone thinks I'm a true fan or not because who dafuq are you people anyway? If you weren't present to fan girl and drool over Sid with me when the times were good, what makes you think you have the right to judge my opinions when shit hits the fan? Seriously go and make your presence known elsewhere because the only thing you're doing is giving me a migraine. #SorryNotSorry

I'm still disappointed that Sid's leaving but I've said this before and I'm saying it again, it's the sheer thought of Twinkle and Kunj not getting a happy ending that really plays with my heart. When you've invested so much in a fictional couple to be abandoned midway, the hurt is real. I love Sid, always have, always will. He is one of the most funniest guys I've come across and his emotional scenes literally break my heart. Those of you who know me will know that sense of humour is high on my list of traits. He deserves to move on in his life and take the correct decisions for his career. I'm not going to beg him to stay back because the guy knows what he's doing. I wish him all the best and I'm pretty sure I'll be there at his next venture too.

With Sid's exit, I'll probably call it quits from the show too because even I've seen shows go down the hill after replacements. I'd rather cherish the good months so far than cringe at the year to come. Jasmin and Zain will always have my support because I love them just as much as I love Sid and I really hope both of them also get better shows and projects in future too because my trio are so fricking deserving. #ZIDMIN5EVER

Will stick around the forum obviously because you guys are part of my routine. No one else wants to talk to me at 2 in the morning so #NightSquad will remain intact bruh.

i'm done with people 😆 honestly done teds, if we (who have been on this forum obsessing about sidmin and twinj) aren't real sid fans that idk what to say 🤣 true fans are not those who blindly follow, you can be a fan of someone and not be okay with a decision they made. people have feelings and they have a right to express their feelings. my opinions yesterday about the professionalism debate is my opinion and i still stand by it - we were talking about contract and all and i dont think any of us said anything rude even after we were called out on it. we all have the right to make any opinion on the situation. what's rude is telling ppl that they are fake fans - that's rude AF

tbh my view on following the show is a bit different: i'm gonna copy and paste what i wrote in the ward --> I may sound harsh but sidhant is just an actor i like/appreciate he is not my friend, he's not my family so I don't see how any decision he makes should personally upset me you know. Besides he's an actor and they gotta do what they gotta do and he's going to make a decision based on what he thinks is right for his career and no one else has to right to object to that. i'm not going to defend him and i'm not going to go against him, he made his decision. I don't mind whatever story cvs go on with even he is replaced at least twinj would still be there, and I completely understand everyone's super attached to sid and want sid and kunj but at the end of the day it's a TV show and I rather stress about real life than about reel life loll as long as a show is entertaining I'll watch I don't really care about actor/production house politics 😆 I think maybe because I'm super independent I see things differently but others are not wrong in their decision to not watch either everyone has a right to their opinion. I'm just not the type of person who gets depressed about television

just my two cents 😆 and i really hope i didn't offend anyone 😳 this is just how i personally feel about the situation i was upset yesterday but i think now i'm kinda over it

Literally on the #samewavelength ! Like I still binge watch old QH scenes, and now TEI will join that because we've gotten so many beautiful scenes with these two it's amazing.

Yeah I agree we don't need to justify ourselves but I'm sick & tired of hearing peoples bullshit and judging us, like just because I don't want to engage in your rudeness does not mean you can continue being a jerk. So I had to say it once. Cause people are ridiculous! Legit tho, I had such a headache yesterday!

Ugh yes, agree on so many levels dude. It's like we have followed this couple so long that now not seeing them consummate, reunite, have babies, it just sucks. It's like all the time we invested has no good ending for them. Agreed, people are begging him to stay but I only want a happy ending, if it's possible but the hope on that is like 1% so whatevsss.

THANK YOU! I hope the trio is successful in all of their future projects and adventures because no one deserve it more. I wanna keep the good memories and not watch this show go down the toilet.

I totally understand/respect your stance on this. I'm a sensitive child who gets attached badly 😆 So I'm not over it because this show became so important for me and I can't tolerate a new face for Twinj so I'm done with the show but I love you guys & the stories & the old memories 😳

I swear Teds, I fail to comprehend how people even think it sane to be commenting on someone's "love" for another individual. How do you do that? I don't understand. I just don't. I cannot possibly know how much you love Sid because you know, I don't read minds. But then again, maybe it's cause I'm a mere mortal. What do I know? Actually, that what it is. Hey Teds! You've literally said all I was thinking and agree with you completely! One of the reasons I've stopped coming to the forum is the incessant negativity that is prevalent here, not just towards the show before we knew Sid was quitting but members pointing their grubby fingers at other members and how we're not 'true fans' Like PLEASE I doubt Sid even knows you exist! Yeah he's a nice guy and humble and loves his fans blah, blah, blah but let's be realistic here shall we?

I don't feel the need to justify my stance on Sid leaving the show and you guys shouldn't either! Yes initially I was upset at the news, but who wouldn't be because this came straight outta left field and no one saw it coming...I'm disappointed because we invested so much of our time on TwiNj and their love story and hardly got our times worth once they confessed...THAT'S what hurts the most and the fact that we won't get their happy ending with Sid as Kunj...However, I've reconciled myself to the fact and wish Sid the best for his future endevours even if I don't really agree with his decision...At the end of the day, it's his career and I'm sure he knows what he's doing so again all the best to him...

I've already stopped watching TEI since Saturday because I was planning to marathon the show after the leap but see no need to continue with the show further...That's not to say I wish ill for the show, cast and crew...I hope they manage to keep it afloat but I can't bring myself to watch with Sid's exit...I'll just watch the old scenes and be happy with those instead...I'll continue my vms but that'll be the extent of my devotion to the show that I once loved...

I soo agree with you teddy on each and every word.

I just cant get myself to write much But Yes I will call it quit when Last episode of TwiNj is aired.

Do not matter if they give a Happy ending or kill kunj,I would just take it as a Tregic ending to beatifull love story,Some love stories are left to be incomplete!

Another reason for quitting the show would be I cannot in no sense bring myself to Like YuvLe even if Yuvi is changed I cannot forget his past deeds.

The trio will always be In my heart.

I do not know what definations of true fans poeple have but I just dont follow these!

Such things happen and over and over again I have faced such things with shows But still I get attached to shows and characters and then It breaks my heart to see the characters dying actors leaving!

But As I said earlier To I will follow sid anywhere he goes,Like a Parchayi🤣

And I would love to watch jasmine in another show But this YuvLe wont work for me!
