SBS special report shed some light on the events that will lead to the leap. They said that Twinkle and Kunj will get spearated due to Anita's actions and eventually Kunj will start to doubt Twinkle and Yuvi's relationship which will lead to them getting separated and hence the leap. They also hinted that Yuvi might try to get them back together.

Harshi Kunj's insecurities will surface again. They meant that i guess and also they need to work towards developing a story for the leap na so they did this

I really won't like to blame kunj for his insecurities or his doubts because it well built upon and since Yuvi really has prawn in his life with twinkle, not a big deal and especially when someone is pouring oil into a burning fire..woah.

I understand Kunj's personality isn't like someone who will doubt his wife but when put into different situations our actions can differ as well...it's very human nature.
