And for the first time in her life she ran. She ran from the mandap to her and Kunj's room. She pushed open the door to see the room beautifully decorated for tonight. Tonight was supposed to have been the most memorable night of her life. For a moment everything that happened downstairs felt like a nightmare.
She felt the decorations and then the reality came crashing down on her again. Indeed she will never forget this night ever in her life but the reason was the biggest mistake of her life Yuvraj Luthra. She wished they had never met. But alas now it was too late. She broke down into hard sobs cursing her fate, loathing it.
She heard a knock on the door. She turned to face the person who just entered. His face gave away no emotions as he stood infront of her. She placed a hand on his cheek to confirm it was not just a figment of her imagination. "Kunj"
The dam broke. All the emotions he had been trying to deal with came into action. He shoved her hand away and gripped her shoulder tightly. "Ab kyu aayi ho yaha? Galti tumhari hai. Tum gayi thi us UV ke pass meri zindagi ki bheek maangne. Tum ye sochna bhool gai thi ki aise gadar se deal karke sirf loss hi haath lag sakta hai. Tumne ye kyu nahi socha ki marna muje manjoor hota par uska khoon?"

Shocked. Never in life had she thought of this happening to her and Kunj. She banged on the door and fell to ground begging Kunj to open it.
She knew Kunj was too badly hurt. She knew Kunj was right on the other side of the door. She whispered trying to control the hiccups, "Kunj mujhe pata hai tum yahi ho par mujse baat nahi karna chahte kyunki...tumhari nazar main...I'm wrong...But agar tumhari jaan bachaane mujhe firse UV se bheek maangni padegi toh main mangungi because I love you...And I promise iss baar ye Siyappa main khud hi handle karungi aur phir tumhe bilkul issi tarah mera haath pakad ke mujhe apni room main laana hoga I promise"
Don't know after how long she picked up herself and got up. She looked at the door and a few more tears escaped her. She was about to leave when she heard, "Goodbye Twinkle"
She smiled a small smile. She was right he was right there. She kissed the door "This is not a goodbye, it is just a see you soon"
She walked downstairs with dried tears but a new determination to set things right only to come faca to face with Yuvraj.
"Baby lagta hai tum humaara kamra bhool gai ho. Koi baat nahi aadat ho jayegi tumhe. Waise bhi acha kiya jo nahi gai woh kya hai na? Wo abhi tak ready nahi hai" he caressed her cheek.
Twinkle shivered in disgust at his touch and turned her cheek "Tum sirf sapne dekhna. Meri Suhaagrat hogi toh sirf Kunj ke saath. Aur tumhari? Kisi jail me"
"Haha Twinkle baby kitne sapne sajaye the na tumne aur Kunj ne aur dekho wo kaise phurrr ho gaye? " he said as if their dreams were some kind of birds that flew away.
"Aur jo sapne kabhi tumne aur maine dekhe the woh aajse aur abhi se poore honge. Dekha Twinkle isse kehte hai pyaar. Jo main tumse karta hoo. Pagalon ki tarah. Itna sara pyaar ki maine tumhe haasil kar hi liya" he cackled.
Twinkle looked at him in anger.. "Haye Twinkle tera gussa...I love it...But ainda yaad rahe mujhse pyaar se pesh aana. Yeh attitude apni pocket main rakh varna tu soch nahi sakti main tere us Kunj ke saath kya kya kar sakta hu. I know you don't care what happens to you. Twinkle stepped back "Main apne maa ke ghar jaa rahi hu. Agar tumne Kunj ko haath lagaya na toh I swear main tumhe jaan se maar daalungi"
"Uff Twinkle jaroor jaana par meri baat sunte jaana..Meri nazaar tumpar rahegi bhagne ki koshish bhi mat karna aur ha laut ke sidhe hamare kamre main aana. Samjhi?" he looked at her daring her to say otherwise.
"Aana toh muje yahi hai mere Kunj ke ghar" she said leaving for Taneja house.
Kunj had heard the entire conversation between Twinkle and Yuvraj. His fists balled at the way Yuvraj misbehaved with Twinkle. He came down only after she left to avoid facing her again. He had to keep her away from here.
"Wow Yuvraj sahi kaha usne. AAna toh use yahi hai. Apne pati Kunj ke ghar. Dhyaan rahe sirf divorce paper sign kiye hai divorce finalize nahi hua hai. So by that means tumari yeh shaadi dhokha matlab fraud hai. Ab aisi shaadi valid toh nahi ho sakti haina. Matlab agar abhi bhi main tum dono par case karu of cheating on me toh tum dono jaoge jail main.Kaise manaoge apni suhagraat?" Kunj said gloating.
"Kya yaar Kunj mujhese chalaki? Don't worry jab tak police aayegi meri Suhaagraat bhi successfully sampan ho jayegi."
"Ab tu dekh aur soch... Twinkle uss door se aayegi phir main use greet karoonga apni bedroom main lekar jaunga aur apni married life jeeunga. But agar tu use apne pass lane ki koshish karega toh woh cheekhe gi chillayegi aur itne me police aa jayegi. So go ahead jaldi bula use intezaar toh mujse bhi nahi hota ab"Kunj said acting as if he were some one desperate.He went back to his room.
Yuvraj was left wondering what would be the best thing for him to do now. "Mujhse chalaki Kunj? yeh toh main jaanta hu ki tu Twinkle se gussa hai. Suhaag raat toh tumhari nahi hogi. Phir mere saamne yeh natak kyu.Yeh drama tujhe mehenga padega Kunj Sarna."
He called Twinkle and asked her to come soon.
It was almost like she knew Twinkle was coming to her. Leela kept the door open and as soon as she entered Leela enveloped her in her arms.
"Na puttar na ro. Andar chal. Sab thik ho jayega"she tried to console her weeping daughter.
" Dekh Chinky aai hai tujhse milne aur use tujhse kuch bahut zaruri baat karni hai. "
Chinky gave Twinkle a glass of water to calm her a bit before she started talking "Kunj sent me here. It was not safe for him to talk to you. Yuvraj has people looking after all your movements and there is a chance he tapped your phones. Only this place with your mom's entire security was a bit safe for us to talk. Kunj knew you'll be here so he asked me to come here and talk. He asked me to buy you a new phone and don't contact him from your phone so here it is." Chinky gave her a new mobile.
"Kuunj what did he say?" Twinkle smiled hearing his name. She always knew no matter who says what he'll always have her back.
"He said and I quote-I'm with you Twinkle," Chinky smiled seeing her best friend smile for the first time in this entire ordeal. They really are ideal couple. Twinkle always knew this. This was the unspoken bond between Kunj and her. They were always together.
"Kunj told me to tell you that you need to be strong. Face Yuvraj. Kunj has a plan and he needs you to behave in your normal way with UV. Kunj said don't be too hurt if he says anything rude and that he is sorry for earlier. But he wants Yuvraj to think all is not well between you guys don't ask me why even I don't know. So he wants that you both should interact minimum in case your cover is blown" Chinky tried to explain to best of her ability.
Her new phone rang it was a call from Kunj, "The stage is set. Come home when Raavan calls"
Twinkle smiled at his reference of Yuvraj. Just as Kunj predicted she got called home by Yuvraj.
She left for home. She opened the door and was engulfed in Kunj's arms.she wound her arms around him tightly seeking comfort that only his arms allowed.
Yuvraj who was seeing all this yanked her out of Kunj's arms and dragged her to their bedroom.
"Twinkle tujhe samajh nahi aata dur reh Kunj se"He screamed at her literally pulling his hair out.
"You know what Yuvi tujhe na baadam khaane chaiye. You know almonds?" Twinkle mocked him.
"Tu phirse bhool gaya ke yeh sab jo tere mere beech main hai voh sirf ek deal thi. You know tum mujhe khun do main tumhe thodisi azaadi dunga types . Par tu toh matlab hadh hai apni limits hi bhool gaya. Dhokese shaadi ki mujhse ?" Twinkle too yelled on top of her voice.
"Shaadi shaadi hoti hai. Dhokha nahi."He tried explaining.
"Shaadi ek pavitra rishta hai jo mera Kunj ke saath jud chukka hai. Tu kuch bhi karle yeh nahi tootega. Kunj bhale hi aaj gussa ho par main use mana loongi. And you know what you will help me in this as always. After all tera gussa hi toh hai jo hume aur kareeb lata hai. Haina?"
"Twinkle!" Yuvraj raised his hand to slap her. "Tere liye maine kya kuch nahi kiya, huh? Sahi galat ke saare limits cross kardi. Kunj ko kidnap kiya, usse maarne ki koshish ki, shaadi main dulhe ki hera pheri kar di aur tu hai ki kuch samajh ti hi nahi "
Suddenly the door burst open with Kunj standing at the door and behind him stood the police. Twinkle rushed to him.
"Inspector arrest him" Kunj said firmly holding Twinkle in one hand.
"HAH Kunj arrest me for what?"Yuvraj laughed maniacally
"For harassing Twinkle, for fraudulently marrying her, for kidnapping me, for trying to murder me, Mahi and the list goes on. Agar tere gunaah ginte baitha toh muje ek novel likhni padegi...kahi kuch miss na hojaye. Badi injustice hojayegi towards you. After all tu kitni mehnat se planning karta hai, haina?? "Kunj asked. The inspector goes to arrest Yuvraj.
"Ek minute inspector, aap mujhe aise arrest nahi kar sakte" Yuvraj tried to act innocent.
"Proof toh bhar bhar ke hain. For eg, your confession two minutes ago to Twinkle jo record ho chukka hai on the camera on her dress which I fixed when we first met in my room and later checked if it were intact when she entered the house. Whatever you said to me on the stairs a while ago is also recorded. Your call records, locations. List bahut lambi hai par sabkuch tere gunaah sabit karne ke liye kaafi hai. "Kunj said removing the camera from her dress and submitting the footage to police.
The police dragged and shoved Yuvraj in the van as he screamed "I'll be back Twinkle. I'll make you mine."
Twinkle and Kunj sighed. Kunj wrapped his arm around her shoulder "Twinkle today is my birthday. It's still half an hour for my birthday to get over. So I say let's get married. The night is still young."
"Ha sure Kunj after all I need someone to make things right given all the siyappa I do. But har ladki chahti hai ki koi use propose kare, make her feel special you know what i mean? But chodo koi nahi let's get married"she moved towards the mandap once again.
Kunj turned Twinkle to face him and held her hand going down on his one knee "Your wish is very important for me to fulfil. So I ask you this question. After so much drama, will you marry me again?"
Twinkle had tears of joy in her eyes "Yes. Now let's hurry." She pulled him to the mandap.
The entire family smiled seeing their children finally happy and wished for them to remain happy forever.
