I think that he upset because of Twinkle's lack if trust in him, especially at the time where is has accepted and is willing to publicize his love for her. To top it off, his Dad is currently fighting death and Kunj has alot of unsaid and unresolved feelings towards his father. The fact that Twinkle is directly connected to the situation *blackmailing/purvi* pisses him off all the more.
