Twinj OS: Towards Their Destiny
Kunj couldn't believe his ears when he heard the news of his childhood friend Samir getting married. Samir used to be his best buddy in London and they used to share every single secret with each other. He couldn't invite him when he got married to Twinkle as everything happened so abruptly. He still regrets that moment.
Flashback:
The last call from his friend just made Kunj happy. Yes he is getting married. He met the girl named Dora' few months back at the workplace and soon fell in love with her. They immediately got engaged and Dora' hails from Darjeeling. So the marriage rituals will be held in Darjeeling and Samir wants him to attend the wedding with Twinkle. He was pretty excited as he will be meeting his Twinkle Bhabi Ji for the very first time. Kunj didn't want to make him unhappy. After many days he had got the chance to meet his friend. But then reality is different. He can't forget what Twinkle has done to his father. His whole life has been shattered just because of her one stupid act. He doesn't even want to talk to her and even the thought of taking her with him to attend the marriage is gruesome.
Just then Bebe was passing by and watched him standing alone lost in his thoughts.
Kunj what's the matter?' Are you okay puttar ji'- Bebe asked.
Nothing much Bebe I was just thinking how life changes so fast. I sometime wish if I could simply delete the past few days from my Life. If Papa was okay and if Twinkle had never lied'... he knelt down and started to sob.
Bebe immediately hold him tight and then asked what's happen. He shared everything.
Bebe suggested him to attend the wedding with Twinkle. Samir is his childhood friend and he needs him right now. Twinkle also knows her responsibilities well and she will never back off.
Bebe just called Twinkle and explained everything and told her to pack her bags.
She hesitated saying Papa Ji is unwell and Kunj even doesn't talk to me. I think it would be better if he goes alone.'
Then Kunj came and said Bebe is right Twinkle. You can go with me.'
Twinkle turned her head in her astonishment.
Kunj explained,' we both know now we are living in a world of difference. But for my friend I have to pretend that we are a normal couple and attend the wedding. I know everything is frozen between us and there is no way by which differences can be sorted out. We will be together but at the same time remain strangers to each other.'
He left. Twinkle didn't notice when tear drops started to roll on her cheeks and Bebe assured her. Don't worry puttar. I will take care of Monu. It just a matter of 3 days. Go and accompany him. Who knows may be you will be able to find the happiness which is playing hide and seek.
Then next day they took a flight to Delhi and from Delhi they took another flight to Bagdogra Airport. They took a taxi for Ghoom and Kunj Decided to go to Darjeeling by Toy Train. It will be a 2 hours journey and as he is going to surprise his friend he didn't inform him that they are coming.
It was early morning.
Twinkle was feeling so gloomy. She was wearing a pastel green kamez and suddenly she felt the chill in the air. She felt strange that a place like this with Kunj beside her should be blissful but she knows inside her something is rambling. She doesn't want to be broken. She pleaded in her mind please Kunj hold me tight before I get completely shattered.
Be quick Twinkle otherwise we will miss the destination'- he urged.
Don't worry Kunj we will reach to our destination. I have faith'- she replied.
They just saw the small blue Toy train named Himalayan Express' came to the station by whistling its engine. They already booked two tickets in the first class compartment.
Hurry up. We need to get in'- Kunj said.
She was about to slip and just then she felt the loving warmth of Kunj's arm around her.
Twinkle felt butterflies in her stomach when they were sitting facing each other in the compartment waiting for the train to start.
Twinkle wondered what her fate has stored for her. She felt uneasiness but at the same time a sense of love. She wished if the train could take them to the point where they can be lost. If they had not to return back- her thoughts were pondered by Kunj's voice.
It's cold here. Wear your shawl.
She gave him a look of disbelief-And why do you care Kunj?'
Because you are my responsibility for three days- he uttered in cold voice.
She wore the shawl.
Only two of them were sitting in that tiny little compartment. They were passing the red maple trees and little mountains. Suddenly Twinkle came across the view of the Kanchenjaunga' and shouted with a feeling of happiness with all her might. Kunj see it's so beautiful.
Even for a moment Kunj forgot all the differences between them and gazed at outside. They couldn't believe their eyes. How on earth something could be so eternal?
With his joy he hugged Twinkle and said It's amazing. It's nothing less than heaven with you beside me.'
Then suddenly he got his senses back and left her. He clenched his fists. How could he forget what she did to his father? He can't be so selfish.
But Twinkle holds his hands. This time she is not letting him go. Why Kunj why? Why can't you believe me?
Remember you promised me you will never leave me alone. I will never do anything purposefully to hurt you. I love you Kunj. Please forgive me please. I know your heart is as big as the Himalayan.' You can't remain angry on me for long. She knelt down crying and saying I am a loser Kunj. I don't worth you.
Kunj couldn't see her breaking like this. She is his queen. She is the love of his life.
He too knelt down saying Shhh. Just stop Twinkle.'
He cupped her face saying You can't be a loser. How can you? You are the one who have taught me to believe in love. I am sorry I got destructed. I couldn't decide what to do and what not to. But now I know we have the same destiny. I can fight with the world if you remain beside me. I love you too my Syappa Queen.'
Suddenly some red maple leafs flew and covered her face. He removed those and looked deep down into her soul. He could just see purity of her soul nothing else.
At that very moment she hugged him tight and he wrapped his hands around her.
You haven't lost me Twinkle. I got you and you got me back. We are together- he whispered into her ears.
She didn't want to hear anything. She just wanted that moment to stop there. She only knew her heart beats only for him and his for her.
The Toy train kept moving towards their destination and they felt the same feeling on this blue mountain toy train- this was nothing but the feeling of love...
