Ah Areeba I am afraid I will have to disagree with you there. I don't think Usha's acceptance of Twinkle has anything to do with Kunj's relationship and love for Twinkle.
Usha has always been emotionally and mentally ( and physically) abused by her husband. She was made to feel like a second class citizen and not exactly celebrated as a wife or even as a human being. Kunj was her crutch and her pillar of support. He was the only person in her household that respected her or even showed her any affection. Thats the root of her relationship with Kunj. He filled a need that the rest of family didn't even know was there.
Then comes in Twinkle, a girl who insulted her at their first meeting, danced intoxicated in public and basically behaved in a way that should have disgusted her husband. But instead of getting offended Manohar was enthralled by Twinkle. He treats her like a princess and touts her as his good luck charm. This could not have been easy for a woman who was so easily dismissed by her husband. I believe this is what sowed the seeds of resentment in Usha's heart. She had an ally in Kunj when she was trying to stop the wedding, but as time went by he also seemed to be under Twinkle's charm. This is doubly hurtful for Usha as the girl she begrudges, resents and basically cannot stand seems to be pulling away from her.
When Bebe came into their household Usha tried to incite Bebe against Twinkle by pointing out that Twinkle was modern and free-thinking. This also backfired as Bebe became Twinkle's greatest ally in their household after Kunj.
So far Usha has been trying to find a way to justify her views about Twinkle. She simply cannot accept the fact that her dislike of Twinkle stems from Usha's own insecurities and inadequacies rather than anything that Twinkle has done.
