First of all breathe fandom or eat ice-cream or have a cookie we all need it after the episode. The episode was heartbreaking hats off to Sidhant, Jasmine and Zain's acting. I was angry at Yuvi, frustrated with Kunj and felt sad for Twinkle.

Kunj loves Twinkle we all know he does but at this point he loves his family more. Kunj was always shown to be a family oriented person. Even in his relationship with Alisha his family was the problem. I remember in their date scene Alisha accused him that always gives his family priority over her. The thing is you can't isolate people from there family at least most of the people who come from the sub continent know how important family is for us. Most marriages have problems these days because people fail to understand that we have more than one role. A guy is first a son, then a brother and then he becomes a husband and son in law. Similarly a girl is a daughter, sister a wife and a daughter in law. All these roles overlap. Where the fault occurs is that we sometimes fail to give equal respect to every relationship and start expecting a lot. Mothers want their son's full affection and attention after marriage and most of them do have problems when this affection is shared with his wife. Usha is a typical mother in law who at multiple occasions has voiced the fact that she doesn't like sharing her son. The solution to this problem is if we adapt to the changes that marriage brings and give both the guy and the girl the chance to respect each relationship.

Kunj at this point is torn between his wife and mother. You can see clearly that in the whole Twinkle, Usha and Bebe scene he is conflicted between his mind and his heart. At one end is his mother who is so emotionally distressed that she is threatening to kill herself and the other end is his wife who is silently looking at him waiting to say something. However in order to maintain the sanctity of both relationships he chooses to remain quiet. If he speaks up and stops Twinkle and ask her to stay his mother will feel bad and if he specifically asks Twinkle to leave she will feel bad. I loved how Twinkle decided to leave taking the choice out of his hands. She was the one who removes the knife from Usha's hand and says how much Kunj needs Usha. She puts her own feelings on the back burner and shows Kunj that she knows and is aware that his mother comes first. She considers herself a part of their family. Sadly Kunj still doesn't consider her a part of his family.Sid's expression soften in this scene and you can see the love in his eyes he might be silent and trying to suppress his feelings but they are still their. This is further portrayed in the bedroom scene. Kunj at this point is devastated. He is at the verge of loosing his father who he had a fractured relationship with. His mother is going crazy with worry and everyone is pointing fingers at his wife. Kunj doesn't even for a second think that Twinkle leaked the pictures he knows she is childish but she is not that disgusting. He is angry at her for lying to him. Kunj believes that if she would have told him the situation wouldn't have gotten out of hand. So beside Twinj, Olicity from arrow is my ultimate otp I just love that couple. Ironically they are facing the same problem right now. Felicity the girl is angry at Oliver because he didn't tell her the truth and she finds out on her own. What she says to Oliver clearly depicts Kunj's state of mind right now.

"You are the only person on this planet who considers the truth to be complicated. When were you planning on telling me the truth? If you loved me if you trusted me telling me wouldn't be such a burden it would be a relief but you don't trust me and you never will"

She says that in the heat of the moment as soon as she finds out at that point she is so consumed by his betrayal that she refuses to acknowledge his feelings or listen to his point of view. Similarly Kunj is so hurt by the fact that Twinkle didn't tell him that in his anger he refuses to acknowledge the sacrifices she made to safeguard the truth. He believes that removing her clothes or pictures would somehow remove the conflicted feelings from his heart as well. Even though she is not physically present in his room she is definitely present in his heart and no matter how hard he or Yuvi tries he can't remove her from there.

Twinkle my poor baby girl. I feel like hugging you and telling you that everything will be all right. Ja's acting in the car scene really broke my heart she had so much faith that he would come back for her but he doesn't. I think at that point she realizes how this time she is all alone. Twinkle did everything for the right reasons but she was too naive and innocent to think that the matter was dealt with.

It was an emotional episode but I am amazed to see such depth and realism in an Indian soap opera. We need to stop putting fictional characters on a pedestal and expect them to be perfect. Every human being is flawed and Kunj and Twinkle's flaws are what makes them more relatable. Those calling for divorce should understand that marriage is not a bed of roses heck even roses have thorns. Real world relationships are messy so why do we expect fictional relationships to be perfect? Twinj will come out stronger at the end of this track.

"Those calling for divorce should understand that marriage is not a bed of roses heck even roses have thorns."

I have already made a separate post stating my reasoning for the divorce and I still stand by it.

You cannot expect a marriage to last if both individuals are mentally unhealthy. Ever since Kunj has entered Twinkle's life, their lives have been hell, and their relationship worse.

They bonded over lies they promised to tell others but remained honest to each other. However, when it came to protecting one another, they failed to believe the other either due to insecurities, the unfamiliarity with the nature of the other person or obtaining the knowledge of how easy it is for them to lie and manipulate situations to their advantage.

We have had Twinkle be in an abusive relationship with Yuvi, almost successfully commit suicide because of her mother, was sexually assaulted by her ex-boyfriend but confused it with her fiancee. Then, instead of staying far away from him, she got married to him with the knowledge that he tried to rape her a few nights ago.

We have had Kunj constantly being beaten up by Yuvi because of Kunj's tendency to protect Twinkle from harm; his desire to get married to Alisha was ripped away as he came to know of her materialistic nature; he was accused of attempting to rape his fiancee; had to bow his head in shame as his family refused to believe his innocence; his father emotionally blackmailed him into getting married; was constantly reminded by his fiancee of the misdeed that he didn't do just to have it all culminate in him being buried alive on his wedding day.

^^ THIS is the formation of TwiNj's relationship. Now tell me, in what way is this healthy?

It's honestly no surprise that they are having problems now. If they couldn't settle their differences back then, how can they now? These two have not grown up as individuals and neither have they been able to get the chance to cope with all the trauma that they have been through.

Now, I don't even want to get into all the crap that has happened to them post-marriage as it is never ending. However, you cannot look at what is happening right now as ONE INCIDENT because it is not. It is a continuation of the series of events that has been pushing their relationship deeper into a toxic cycle.

Of course the CVs are going to gloss this over and present TwiNj as overcoming this obstacle. It has to happen for the sake of progressing the show and it will happen. But this does not mean that it is a healthy move for the characters.

You simply cannot function as a healthy unit if the parts are heavily damaged.

I really like that you mentioned that, because that in fact is reality. If you commit to relationship filled with love, Thorns are a free attached gift that every couple or so receives.

Kunj and Twinkle have been attacked but they will overcome it.

My approach to it is different. Devoid of any romantic entanglements. My focus for this reply is in regards to the request made 'for those calling for divorce'.

Loved your analysis and agree. I think it is first time in an Indian soap they have shown leads who are flawed but are love able despite being flawed. This is reality marriage is not a bed of roses.
Hurting for TwiNJ but hoping they will be together again soon with their relation even stronger than before.

I wasn't directly attacking you. I just expressed my opinion. I am really sorry if I hurt your feelings

I never said you were directly attacking me. Like you expressed your opinion, so did I. In your post, you mentioned "those". Now, last time I checked, I was (and still am) a single, individual person; not plural. So let me comment on behalf of myself and not "those".

Nice Post. As you said, Kunj is broken and on top of that he is not able to take that Twinkle too is not with him. Though they fight or he yells at her, they still are together till date. Twinkle also said she is not going to return back to the house. He has so many things to solve and so many emotions to deal.
Sidmin did an excellent Job in portraying there emotions on they have nothing to do but depart from eachother.

I agree Kunj is angry as she hid the important thing but in hospital she is very clear why she has to do this. She also told that she promised his dad to keep quite. Kunj is not in a position to think anything.

Lets wait what CV's have in their mind.
