I honestly love doing these analyses. Gives me an escape from all the stress of real world and I get to learn how to refine my observation skills. This episode was obviously one of the best. I love how the show has evolved the relationship of Kunj and Twinkle. Also I am going to be long again today so please bear with me.
The episode started off with everyone walking away once they all were asked to sing again. I think it reflects wonderfully on how everyone contributed towards the track that is going to follow, how everyone was responsible for the unification of there children into the bond of marriage but after completing off their responsibilities and giving off their justifications, it'll be just left up to the children i.e. Yuvraj, Twinkle and Kunj.
I am going to post quotes from few of my previous posts that compile the events that will follow up. Make sure to read through the bold part because it is a lot of stuff to go through.
EP 152:
In general ten is a number of renewal and new start. In hinduism, Lord Vishnu's tenth reincarnation means the arrival of a new age and over turning the bad luck. Twinkle's arrival at ten symbolizes how her new victory in Mrs. Amritsar will bring good luck into the Sarna household. So far she had been Ms. Amritsar but with the new title, her position and her name will be more clearer for everyone. She is not alone. She is a Mrs. With another family to back her up besides the Tanejas. Like after her arrival Knuj was relieved, he will be relieved of Twinkle handling the problems tactfully too in future but he won't accept her hiding away from him.
EP 158:
Twinkle gives Kunj half an hour i.e. 30 minutes of her time for the evening. Number 6 is a symbol of completeness in time and over here shows both Twinkle and Knuj finally stepping on the same page together for the new journey. The 30 minutes in time detonates the division in time and how the next cycle needs to be completed (half the time period of their marriage has been passed). I believe it was used here to identify the clarity Twinkle has on their relationship so far and how she understands that in order for both of them to be together in the truest sense, they need to walk together in the upcoming journey to see the path their relationship is taking.
EP 159:
Yesterday, Twinkle and Knuj decided on six O' clock being the time of the date and there start of taking up the next half of their relationship But this is a daily soap and there is no romance without a change in circumstances knocking on the door every hour or so. Both, Knuj and Twinkle have now realized how much their need to be on the same page thus they chose six. A number of completeness on the clock that resonates with new beginnings but alongside the number six also stands as the number of the devil and imperfection alongside it's completeness because of the manifestation of human weaknesses that exist in all human actions. < why the time is shown as Twinkle starts working in the kitchen. Another thing that I got from the showcasing of 6 before 7 was that while Knuj has accepted to walk along with Twinkle, he does not have a lot of answers. To begin with, he does not know the real reason of Twinkle being part of Mrs. Amritsar competition. Twinkle took it upon herself to be the leader to fix things up but she failed to realize that she might take the right route, others will now resulting in Purvi being out of jail. Another thing mentioned in one of my previous posts was that when Knuj finds out about the truth, he will be angry at the hidden facts but will let Twinkle continue on her with clearing Manohar's name. I think Usha's presence in this instance was the necessary to understand the future dynamics. The clock strikes "seven" just when Kunj comes in and after his indication, Twinkle successfully completes her chores and leaves Usha to attend/stand by the rest of the family. Seven in a number of physical and spiritual completeness by God. A holy number that standouts in Hinduism because of variety of reasons including the appearance it holds. There are seven points of energy on the top and bottom halves of our bodies, there are seven flames of Agni and goddess Durga also has seven manifestations. In a wedding ceremony as well, there are seven rounds taken around the fire and seven vows made. In the spiritual nature of seven and the inclusion of Kunj into the scene indicates the joined forces and teamwork from both Twinkle and Knuj in order to clear Manohar's name in front of the family and world. It is also a number of God's word, tying the revelation up truthfully and completely or once and all. The story doesn't end yet. Bebe's inclusion into the scene after seven and before the next time in displayed shows her need for answers from Twinkle and her being unsatisfied from Twinkle's reasonings until Knuj comes in. (The time 8.20 is shown after Knuj walks in and stands behind Twinkle.) I love the positioning in this scene. Bebe would herself would be disapproving of Twinkle keeping the facts to herself regardless of her father-in-law's instructions but will only calm down once she finds that Knuj has give his approval, reinstating Twinkle back to the status of Laksmi of the house. >>> The number eight here symbolizes balance, harmony in rebirth of eternity. If anyone from IPKKND forum here read my analyses back when I wrote in IPKKND forum, they would know my love for the number eight. It's the most positive number marking the beginning of new time. Eight is also the avatar count of Lakmi. I said on one of my previous posts that Twinkle's completion of her goal to protect Manohar will help her bring positivity back as the guru ji indicated. Twinkle is basically the teeka for Sarnas that will protect her. The time is however 8.20. 20 is twice of ten an a number of perfection rather then completeness.

EP 162: I would say please do read yesterday's post completely because I analyzed everyone's role with their song choice and how it'll come to play for Twinkle and Kunj.
>>> Now I don't do song translation but I felt it important to do because each song explains the role of all the characters in upcoming track. Kunj and Twinkle are tied up in their lives but in midst of it the truth with break out and while Twinkle will initially justify herself before Kunj's anger, she'll leave it to him to find out the truth and work towards solving the problem and clearing the name. Their relationship would be left handing in the string and Kunj will make sure to stand beside Twinkle to help solve whatever problem surfaces but Twinkle will not easily accept him in a position where they can take their relationship forward. Kunj himself won't be ready completely and the differences would be noticed by the two ladies, Leela and Kunj. Kunj will try to go to the root of the problem like he always does to effetely get rid of the situation and discover Yuvraj to be the one responsible. Meanwhile Leela will make sure that Twinkle understands that weaker points in the relationship need to be protected and Twinkle will need to be more responsible in those terms. Usha would probably so much shaken at the truth that she will remain quiet at whatever happens and only worry about Manohar's health but only after seeing his parents reconcile and his father giving the respect his mother deserves, Kunj would be able to reconcile properly with Twinkle. Thats where the last song sang by Kunj comes. Kunj will be the one to help clear things up and Yuvi till the last moment will continue to think that Twinkle and Kunj are both at distance where as they will be reconciling and moving forward.
Now that we are done with the whole track (everyone moving away and clearing up what meant by getting up and leaving the three), we will see Yuvraj, Twinkle and Knuj being the only players left once again. However the cracks in Yuvraj's plan are getting bigger because of his inability to handle his anger and frustration. Yuvi throwing the pillow towards Twinkle symbolized him giving up after revealing the pictures. It won't be his end and it is not yet cleared whether besides Knuj and Twinkle, everyone will find out that Yuvi was responsible for the whole mishap but it is clear that with this track coming to an end, Twinkle will be victorious in her fight with Yuvraj.
> So far Twinkle has repeatedly at many different situations said that she is losing to Yuvi by not having her sister and father believe her but like I have said in my previous posts, Yuvi's carelessness and frustration will get the best of him and he himself will end up revealing himself to Mahi. Thus handing over the reigns to Twinkle in the fight between them that was started by their respective mothers. Both mothers involved their families and that ended up with the inclusion of Knuj into the fight that is now between Yuvraj, Twinkle and Knuj.
With Twinkle being cleared off all the blames and fixing things up by being the winner, she will go towards Kunj.
I love the incorporation of Matargasti at this point. The song is light hearted and playfully blames the other one for ruining their lives. That aspect is the founding point of Twinkle and Knuj's relationship. Both have embraced each other but their small fights always which they both enjoy and reveal their comfort with each other end up with both blaming each other because of their attitudes. So basically, Matargasti is Twinkle and Knuj's song now. The song is full of attitude and isn't what their love and relationship is about? Tasha!!
I won't go into colors in this set up because I saw Meghana's post and she has wonderfully explained the color symbolism in the first half. I do want to point out that when the camera panned over the family, it was quick to make Usha a center point and show her being happy with Kunj's happiness. Till date Usha is under the impression that Kunj is simply fulfilling his role as a husband towards Twinkle but what she doesn't realize until after the whole Manohar track is that her son genuinely loves her Bahu and even though she might still have difficulty embracing Twinkle as bahu, she will start accepting her as Knuj's wife.
I loved the tickling thing. How much in love is this person to actually be doing somersaults and tickling and dancing in front of everyone. Kunj is also a person who speaks less and only says where he needs to quip in. He expresses minimally and only through his actions so the fact that he is using words and dancing and singing is a big deal. This dude wasn't this much happy with Alisha as he is with Twinkle.
*Next up was Anita and Yuvraj. Yuvraj's loss on the reality is getting deeper and he is isolating himself with his obsession of twinkle further on. To be honest, no matter how much Yuvraj's unraveling is humanizing him, he is the only cause of this destruction that he is swirling in. The episode was very much dialogue driven today which is amazing. I loved how Yuvraj picked up the red glass to hit his mother when she mentioned Twinkle and Knuj's children. Yuvraj is so much deep into his own world that he is unable to se clearly at anything besides Twinkle. Thats why he is so frustrated with Mahi too. He wanted to ruin Mahi's life but how can he do such when all his energy is focused on acquiring Twinkle like a trophy.
Another dialogue that stood out was when Anita questions that what did Leela do that Twinkle always escapes past her and Yuvi's plans. The answer to that is simple. The upbringing of Yuvi and Twinkle is very different. Leela didn't let her past hold on to her. She moved past her husband and daughter's death and focused on her living daughter and her future where as Anita didn't focus on Yuvi's upbringing. She focused on transferring all her hatred and grudges onto Yuvi. No doubt that Anita loves Yuvi very much. But Anita lit the fire of her own destruction for herself and kept her son with her, pulling him into the well of self-destruction as well but no realizing that her son's motives have evolved and changed.
Yuvraj says in the end of the scene with Anita that he is tired but he won't give up. I think it shows that he needs a break. Perhaps after this track, Yuvi will take his time to sulk and muster up enough energy to restart his charade of pushing Kunj away from Twinkle but for the current time being, he will end up giving up because of being overwhelmed.
Coming onto Yuvraj's monologue about making the tomorrow of Twinkle and Kunj drown in darkness; it simply symbolized how I quoted above that Kunj will be blinded by his love for his family and would not listen to Twinkle's justifications after finding out that Twinkle knew about the whole thing. He will definitely stand by Twinkle like he did with Mrs. Amritsar but he won't be present. Everyone is predicting separation and while there won't be any physical separation, there would be emotional detachment between Knuj and Twinkle. I mentioned in EP 162's analysis that this track is not about love. It is about building up the trust between Twinkle and Knuj that was shattered. While Twinkle's trust on Kunj has rebuild in many different instances where he stood by her and took responsibilities of her "siyaapas", Kunj has yet to see such side of Twinkle where she will choppily sacrifice herself for his happiness and his family's happiness >> this is where Kunj being haunted by Twinkle getting molested comes into play. After understanding what Twinkle went through for his father, Kunj's faith in Twinkle will be reinstated and would be more stronger.
Being in love is very different then trusting someone. It is obviously very subjective for everyone but the basic line between the two emotions is very different. When Yuvi says "jar se nickal doon ga", it means that he will shake up the foundation of a relationship. And HE WILL shake up the budding trust and faith between them but the confession that occurred today will be able to give both Kunj and Twinkle, a leaning wall that will allow them both to build a stronger faith and trust in each other.
I want to touch on the Leela and Anita interaction before going towards the confession. It was a good reminder to see that all that has started is the because of these two ladies. In a dialogue driven episode, to critically understand the dynamics between the ladies it is important to note the motivations behind their fights. Like i said earlier, Anita grudges and holding onto the past more tightly then ever leads to her plans not being successful while Leela's approach for a positive future is lets her be happy. I think the incorporation of the scene was really well done and a good way to touch the roots of TEI.
Ok now I will come to the whole confession. Yes people the confession happened. The whole song was part of self-realization and both accepting their love. Firstly, I loved how both were in separate rooms. Twinkle was in her and Kunj's room where as Kunj was probably in a guest room of the house. It symbolized Twinkle's apprehend in the relationship and finally allowing Kunj to take steps with her. However both being in separate rooms and separate cars symbolized that even though they are bonded in one union, there journeys towards one another have been different. The choice of colors and obviously the choice of song was a good way to point that out.
I want to start out with Twinkle. Unlike Kunj, Twinkle takes time to choose between the saris. The first color she picks up represent she naivety, her senseless, her unconditional empathy and compassion and her emotional expectations. These were the evolving traits in Twinkle after Yuvi left and she and Kunj had to work on finding what their relationship stood for. Next she goes for Blue. the sari is a combination of royal blue and light blue. The combination ensues calmness, honesty and superiority. Twinkle's growing attachment towards Kunj also adds on that she develops an honest loyalty towards Kunj. That was a prominent factor when she yells at Kunj to run away from the hut where Yuvi has a bomb. While does understand that she holds the reigns in their relationship, she also tries to prove herself for the responsibility Kunj has handed her. The last color she picks up before choosing the gold-blue, is purple. The particular shade of purple is a color of stability that is a mixture of red (a part of pink) and blue. The color symbolizes stability and satisfaction along with spiritual passion. The sari also has gold shade in it. While gold does hold the positive energy of passion and femininity, it is a less trustworthy color which symbolizes the upcoming scene after the confession where Kunj would be conflicted by Twinkle's involvement and her words.
The color that twinkle ends up with is sky blue. The color symbolizes ethereal peace and spirituality showing Twinkle embracing her newfound feelings (she was also dressed in a shade of blue when she realized Kunj was the one and touched his feet.) I also loved how Kunj was dressed in white and orange in Twinkle's imagination. White is the color of purity and orange is a mixture of yellow and red = passion and happiness. Both emotions that Kunj has managed to evoke in Twinkle from his love.
Coming to Kunj, first of all a moment of silence in appreciation of that well-toned body and six packs.
The shade of purple Twinkle appears in Kunj's imagination leans towards the color of lilac. That color stands out for its balance of harmony and peace in mental and physical emotions symbolizing that Kunj feels at peace with himself when Twinkle is around. Something he has also previously mentioned to Twinkle. Kunj himself chooses a metallic shade of purple and black shirt. The colors representing his devotion and self-control over his decisions.
I loved how in the end both faced the mirrors and touched it. Last post I mentioned how mirror was playing a part in both of them realizing their feelings but being oblivious of the other one's but this time with both of them choosing tomorrow, they were finally in touch with all the emotions racing inside them and knowing that the other one will reciprocate.
Not choosing the typical colors of love was a really good move by the creative team. The car confession was really perfect. Kunj's choice of words and twinkle's choice of words elected not just the way they intend to move on with their relationship but it also held the ground characteristics of their personalities. One loud and cheerful while the other who works with subtlety in every aspect. I loved how both described what they've found in each other. I think the dialogues were enough to see through what both of them were looking for and they were fortunate enough to find that in each other. Basically the confession was perfect. I know some people wanted more intensity but it couldn't have ben more intense then this until later on because the relationship Kunj and Twinkle have is a the kind where they would be quiet about what they share with each other instead of flaunting it.
One of the great things about mature relationship is not just the passion and fieriness between the people but also the level of communication, trust and faith in each other. The intensity is stretched to spread into a longer period of time unlike the first relationships where spark and fire are always going around. One of the defining attributes in Kunj and Twinkle's relationship is both being at peace with themselves and another. Where both can find the silence and the noise comfortable as long as they are with each other. Kunj and Twinkle are such a real couple because those attributes are the reasons why relationships lasts longer in real world compared to the intense relationships that don't go on more then a year or two. Twinkle and Yuvraj's relationship was intense and fast paced. they always had to be doing something or planning something. There was not stability in their relationship and I think the creatives have done a brilliant job of making Twinkle and Knuj realize the happiness that comes to both of them from their love for each other and how it also stabilizes their relationship into the bond of marriage.
I loved how this time, unlike the previous time when they were fake dating; Twinkle initiated the kiss. She gave him her consent and approval to finally take this forward. The whole thing was beautifully captured.
Obviously Yuvi had to come in at that point and ruin everything. Family problems are going to be the cause of conflicts their relationship and external problems don't break relationships easily. I loved how the ring dropped from Kunj's hand. The ring was going to be a symbol of Kunj's love to Twinkle from him. I previously mentioned how Twinkle and Kunj have spent the first half of their marriage but they need to be togather in the next steps in order to make sure they have a working relationship and marriage. A ring is a shape of a circle and with the upcoming misunderstandings, it will be Kunj who will be most conflicted with the new emotions and his lack of faith in Twinkle. The dropping of the ring constituted the reaction Kunj will have.
I honestly just hope that everything comes to an end tastefully. TEI never really drags any track so I am going to hope that this track would be wrapped up with dignity and without dragging it.
I also want to add when more thing. After the stressful review for next episode, we all need some kind of hope to keep us watching this show. Now remember that scene where Kunj asks Twinkle to put flour on her face again. Flour symbolizes productivity and fertility. I did not mention this in that episode's analysis because I felt conflicted over what I saw was true or not but after today's episode I think I was right and I feel like I should share this part despite the fact there is no official confirmation in the script but only an indication. In today's episode, Bebe blessed Knuj with 10 kids. Now ten is a number of completeness and it basically stands as a new chapter. In the same episode's analysis post I said that the consumption would come after the Manohar track and I think after the consumption and both Kunj and Twinkle successfully starting their martial life by completing the suhaag-raat, the idea of starting a family will be introduced. I think the creatives are toying with the idea of a pregnant Twinkle as of now. It does seem very soon to me because maybe Kunj finishing up his semester and getting a job first would be a better idea but it'll be exciting nonetheless.
Oh also Anita mentioned the two having kids if they keep going on the rate they are going. would be funny to see her reaction when she figures that something along the lines is happening.
Sorry for boring you all with my long post. Please do leave your thoughts!!
