- Kunj
"Kunj, mai tumse bohot se bhi bohot pyaar karti hu!"
- Twinkle
There are so many different ways to express love. For some, a concise "I love you" for others an elaborate speech. At times, it does not even need words because actions speak loud enough to convey it. With Twinkle and Kunj, they have conveyed through actions their love and vocalizing it seems like a formality.
The episode was cute. I loved the Antakshri bit and especially the "Meri Queen" line. I was just hoping that there would be a self realization prior to a formal date to express their feelings but instead we got an assurance during the car ride which also works. The difference in their claims was very symbolic in terms of their current state, future and personality.
Kunj:
I think it's interesting that Kunj said "pyaar hogaya hai". We have seen from the beginning of their marriage that Kunj has been there for her but he has justified it as fulfilling his role, attending to his responsibilities. I think it is safe to say that he did not intend to fall for her thus he is surprised. I like that his realization was solidified after their little role-play as it contrasted with his ex, Alisha. We see that he realizes that his love fro Twinkle is genuine. I think the usage of the word "beintehaa" and it's placement was symbolic. Beinthehaa means without bounds insinuating longevity. It reminds me that Kunj will ALWAYS be there for Twinkle. Furthermore, the fact that he had minute pause before the "beintehaa" which can represent that he may not immediately be there but eventually he will. I think it could apply to the Yuvi drama when he did not believe Twinkle at first but when he did, he stuck by her side. It will likely be similar with Manohar's drama and their future struggles- he may have a hard time trusting her but he will always support her in the end. Overall, his confession was concise and of little words. It was not an exclamation like Twinkle's but it held the same magic, the same promise of support. It was a quiet confession (if that makes sense) which resonates with how Kunj takes care of the little things in Twinkle's life like making sure she's always smiling. It also connects with how he does not always vocalize his feelings but that does not mean he is not there for her.
Twinkle:
I absolutely adored the way they showed Twinkle's giddiness, excitement, enthusiasm regarding her newfound love. It's important to note that she address Kunj in her confession directly and uses his name first. I think this shows that she will continue to put him first in her life which will cause it's own set of issues. For example, she put Kunj first by hiding Manohar's truth and that will obviously cause her problems. It also shows that she has gotten to a point where he is more of a priority than others. We haven't heard her Mahi jaap in a while, for instance. Twinkle uses the adjectives/adverbs (depending on if you see the word "pyaar" as a noun or verb) "bohot se bhi bohot' to describer her love. It literally translates to "more than more" which signifies that she will take a lot of actions, she will do a lot for Kunj. Lastly, her confession was an exclamation/was louder which connects to her lively personality and how her expressions of love will likely be more blatant than Kunj's.
Okay, promise no more posts LOL. Thank you for reading! Do share what you think. Am I just overanalyzing as is my habit?
