This word is used in this song, as per my understanding, to convey a sense of happiness for all that is occurring, almost like a mesmerized trance. In the episode, this song was played when Twinkle was cooking in the kitchen and Kunj came and they had that beautiful moment. I think it works well because they both are truly enjoying the new phase in their relationship and appreciating it. It's kind of all they can see right now as Kunj openly called Twinkle gorgeous and Mahi not forefront in Twinkle's mind.
The music began when Twinkle did that hairlip and got flour on her cheek. Kunj had the best expression on his face- one of adoration which goes in hand with the theme of the song.
First Verse:
Ek Din Kabhi Jo Khud Ko Tarashe
If one day, You look at Yourself (look at Your attributes/qualities)
Meri Nazar Se Tu Zara... Haaye Re...
Using my gaze
Aankhon Se Teri Kya Kya Chhupa Hai
All that is hidden from Your eyes
Tujhko Dikhaun Main Zara... Haaye Re...
Give me a chance and I will show You
Ek Ankahi Si Dastaan... Dastaan Kehne Lagega Aaina...
The mirror shall start telling an unsaid tale (a tale never heard before)
This verse is about telling your significant other to see themselves from your eyes as they will see a whole different story. Often times, people look into the mirror and only list what they do not like. They like to pick faults and believe others see them that way as well. With Twinkle, it has to do with the Yuvi-saga of her life; she blames herself for it a lot. Furthermore, she has dimmed her personality down a lot since her marriage. However, during the dhabi scene Kunj was able to see the true Twinkle and he was captivated. This verse reinforces that if Twinkle were to see herself from Kunj's eyes she would see all that she cannot and would see an entirely different story.
Subhanallah...
Praise the Lord!
Jo Ho Raha Hai... Pehli Dafa Hai
Whatever is happening, it's happening for the first time
Wallah... Aisa Hua
By God... it's happening!
I think this speaks of the whole experience of falling in love- the godliness of a first date, the anticipation of the next date, etc. Twinkle and Kunj are finally experiencing true love hence they are very excited. This may be a terrible analogy but it;s almost like when you try on a bunch of dresses and finally find the one you want and it's so exciting. I see it similarly with Kunj and Twinkle; they may not have been the first in each other's lives but they are the last hence whatever is happening for them is so amazing (the last line which is like saying "Man, it's actually happening. I'm falling in love."
Meri Khaamoshi Se Baatein Chun Lena
From my silence, choose the talks
Unki Dori Se Taareefein Bun Lena
And from its thread, weave the praises
Kal Nahi Thi Jo Aaj Lagti Hoon
What I wasn't yesterday, I feel I am that today
Taareef Meri Hai Khaamakhan
Your praises are without any reasons
Tohfa Hai Tera Mere Ada
My grace is a gift of Yours
This brings to my mind the restaurant scene when Twinkle went on and on while Kunj stayed silent. It also reminded me of earlier scenes when Kunj was not vocal yet when he needed to, he would speak and convey his meaning. In January, when Kunj had to be admitted into the college and Twinkle did her drama, in the car, he low-key called her beautiful. Even during the Lori scene when she walked out all dressed up. The last three lines are sung by a female singer. I think it shows that Twinkle is experiencing a whole different type of love. She even said so herself that no one has made her feel this way so what she did not feel yesterday (her past), she feels today. It can also apply to her personality change that is happening due to Kunj. Furthermore, the last line shows that Twinkle owes her ability to be a little relaxed, care free due to Kunj.
All done! Thank you for reading and please leave your thoughts!
