Main Hoon Aadha Mujh Mein, Baaki Aadha Hai Tu
I'm only half inside me, the other half that is present is You
Dil Mein Kam Hai Dhadkan, Yaara Zyaada Hai Tu
There are less heart-beats inside my heart, what's present more is You
Bin Sune Sun Loonga Main, Bin Kahe Tu Kehna...
Without even listening, I'll hear it, without even saying it, You say that
This stanza he depth of the relationship they have in this short amount of time. Kunj and Twinkle got married in October and it is now March. They have only been married for six months yet they portray the nuances those married for years do. For example, the gestures through the eyes. Either way, this stanza captures the panic Kunj felt in the moment as he saw his wife unconscious. Bebe was right; his "dhadkan" stopped which can be symbolic for Twinkle. As Twinkle fell unconscious, his heart stopped beating because as the second line suggests his heart is more full of her than actual heart beats (hopefully that makes sense). The last line's first part reinforces that Twinkle has not confessed her love yet Kunj is beginning to piece things together as his flashbacks showed with the anger for the icebox kiss, to the feet touching. It showed how he sees a stark progression and distinction in her behavior. The second part of the last line suggests that idea as well. That Twinkle does not have to be vocal about her newfound feelings because without saying, her actions still speak.
Tu... Mere... Mere Paas Toh Hai Na Ooo...
You are surely with me
Tu... Mere... Mere Paas Toh Hai Na...
You are surely with me
This continues (as far as I can tell) from the previous stanza. I think it means that while Twinkle is not expressing in words that she has feelings for Kunj, her actions convey that she is with him. Hence the last line saying "You say that..." and this stanza continuing that idea. The scene in the bedroom where Twinkle informed Kunj that she knew he would save her further establishes this. Yet this line seems like it is a question (the "Hai Na" at the end) which shows Kunj is still unsure if he is understanding Twinkle's actions and interpreting them right. With the sudden developments of the transition from the accusations to sharing the bed, Kunj is confused. I think the repetition of the word "Mere" also adds to Kunj's feelings almost like he's saying "You're really mine?"
Pyaar Hai Aisa Khel Yaara, Tanha Koi Bhi Jeeta Nahi
Love is such a game in which no one can win being alone
Tu Jahaan Thak Ke Baith Jaaye, Ad Jaaunga Main Bhi Wahin
Wherever You'll get tired and sit down, I'll also not move/budge from that place
Bin Sune Sun Loonga Main, Bin Kahe Tu Kehna...
Without even listening, I'll hear it, without even saying it, You say that
The first line connects to the Stranger Game they are playing. Often times, in love, the "win" is getting your love reciprocated. Hence you cannot win being alone, having feelings alone. I love the fact that Kunj initiated this idea because it shows that he would genuinely be interested in Twinkle had their life not been so complicated by others. It suggests that perhaps he wants to clearly know what she is feeling. The second line reinforces the whole idea that he will not leave her alone no matter what, In the famous rain episode, despite Twinkle protesting numerous times to be left alone Kunj did not listen. Ad the line says, he did not budge from her side even if his words could not console. He wanted her to know he would physically be there and I think Twinkle got the point because today she said that she knew he would come save her.
Baarishein Kitni Dil Se Guzri, Meri Aankhein Na Bheegi Kabhi
So many monsoons passed through the heart, still my eyes never got drenched
Tu Agar Pal Bhar Door Jaaye, Baadlon Sa Main Ro Doon Abhi
If You're separated from me for even a couple of moments, I'll start crying like the clouds
Bin Sune Sun Loonga Main, Bin Kahe Tu Kehna...
Without even listening, I'll hear it, without even saying it, You say that
I LOVE the first two lines. They show the impact that a person can have on their significant other's life. Kunj has faced many ordeals in his life and he states he is emotional yet it is usually Twinkle's words that have a more profound impact on him than others. For example, Anita's stupidity on the January 8 episode did bother him but with Twinkle's consoling he was able to get over it. Yet Twinkle's Farmhouse accusations had him torn up for days. The second line shows that idea too because we all know how easily Kunj panics should anything happen to Twinkle. He has quite literally risked his life for her multiple times. And while he does not full fledged cry we see his eyes get watery and pained.
Overall, this songs speaks of the strong bond between two people to the point where the can speak to each other without words, understand each other without words, where their heartbeats are linked. It's perfect for Twinkle and Kunj because it gives us some idea of just how much Kunj understands Twinkle and cares for her.
All done. Those who take the time to read, I appreciate it very much! Do share your thoughts!!!
