Before saying anything I would like to applaud Jasmin for her wonderful performance. She has grown so much as an actor and come a really long way. Her expressions were simply amazing. Usually I tend to just stare at Kunj throughout the episode but this time around I couldn't take my eyes off of twinkle, poor Kunj got ignored.š
The way she just stood there with a look of disbelief on her face, staring into thin air after Kunj left, not accepting that he has actually gone or meant what he said. She finally voiced his importance in her life, sad he wasn't around to hear that but at least we got something. Her voice modulation, expressions and body language was just wow! She acknowledged to him being an integral part of her life, accepted to not being able to live without him. This is so surreal because a few months ago she used to cringe thinking of a life with him. And now here is the same girl accepting that HIS support and presence is the most important thing in the world to her. Loved how she didn't break down and refused to believe him when he said it's over between them. Wish Luthra could have heard that. He would have chopped down that tree behind which he was hiding in a fit of rage.
And Kunj baby, no matter how loud you yell or how angry you get, you can't stay without that girl. Face it. The way he came back and just sat there waiting for her to get in shows us that no matter how mad he gets, he can't leave her alone, no wait, he won't leave her alone.(sounds much better right?) He needs to know that she is safe and you have to agree, the safest place on earth for twinkle is the seat right next to her khadoos sarna.
The sigh of relief she let out on seeing him come back for her strengthened her belief of things not ending between them. And seriously, things between you two can never end. So don't even try. And the scene where she twists her ankle and although Kunj is in no mood to listen to her, he comes back, steadies her and took her in his arms. That was so beautiful. Kunj can never desert her and go. His anger doesn't stand a chance against the love he has for her.
The bathroom scene just shows his muddled thinking. He is confused beyond belief as to why he is getting this possessive about her. He was never the possessive kind but he was more of the protective kind. But now he a deadly combination of both. He keeps thinking about those sly comments and that incident at the lodge. The mere thought of him not making it in time sends a shiver down his spine. HER safety is the most important thing in the world to him and seeing that being compromised is something the husband of twinkle's doesn't know how to deal with.
One more thing did you guys notice how he was about to wipe his face with the towel but hearing her sneeze and seeing her shiver due to cold made him give her the towel?He didn't even second guess himself. Heard her sneeze and promptly gave her the towel and walked away. Who cares if he is supposed to be angry at her? She needs him and he'll be there for her. When being questioned about her whereabouts at the table, he lied for her. He didn't want anyone to put her in a tough spot. True husband goals!
Kunj's conversation with bebe actually sheds some light on what he is feeling. He has time and again stood by her and supported her even when everyone else was against her. So it's only natural for him to expect her to at least respect his emotions but thinking that she doesn't even bother to give him that little importance stabs his heart considering how important she has become to him. He just wanted a nudge in the right direction and bebe gave him that. The way she said twinkle will get humiliated in front of everyone didn't gel down well with him. Angry or not, no one dare point a finger at his wife. He goes to the competition despite his disapproval regarding twinkle's participation. Kunj Sarna is hands down the best husband out there!
But the best thing about the episode has to be the look on Luthra's face when twinkle revealed purvi's fake marriage. the look read, 'Dude you are so dead'.
also why didnt anyone ask for purvi's marriage certificate because as far as i remember all the contestants were grilled because of Mrs Luthra's marriage certificate going missing.
P.S Luthra, Rot in hell . You are beneath my contempt
