I'm sorry, I've been behind with these! Things go a bit busy and I have a certain way I go about doing this (read the written update, listen to the song, read the lyrics, watch the episode, listen to the song, watch the episode, read the lyrics) before I write these analyses so if I can't devote that time to it, I wait. Either way, here is the bit on Nazdeekiyan from the movie Shandaar. It was played in the February 20th episode when Twinkle tended to Kunj's wounds

Raaton ke jaage subah mile hain
Resham ke dhaage ye silsile hain
Laazmi si lagne lagi hain
Do dilon ki ab nazdeekiyaan

This verse is basically saying that those who met at night now meet in the morning, that these matters have become like silk and the drawing close of hearts has become important. When you think about it, night is usually connoted with things that are kept in secret, things "kept in the dark". This, to me, represents how Kunj and Twinkle initially were. While they did care, they did not necessarily express themselves that much. However, recently, Kunj, especially has begun to express himself very clearly. He has told Twinkle how he worries for her, how he cares for her, that she matters. It was interesting too because this song was played in the episode where he was sharing his feelings about the Mrs. Amritsar contest...he was bringing his thoughts out of the dark into light or morning. It shows how Twinkle and Kunj's relationship has become blatant to those around them (Yuvi, Bebe, Guruji, etc.) The second line speaks of silk threads- how does one treat silk? Usually silk material clothing is expensive hence people take special care of them. This relates to how Kunj takes so much care of Twinkle and also the fact that they're feelings for one another are surfacing which confuses both of them. Because it confuses them so much, they will likely begin being extra careful around each other. The last two lines speak of how this drawing close of the hearts has become important. This ties into how Twinkle and Kunj have began questioning why they feel they way they do. Their attraction to one another is coming out and highlighting the need to sort it out.

Dekhti nahi hain par ho rahi hain mehsoos nazdeekiyan
Do dil hi jaanein lagti hain kitni mehfooz nazdeekiyan

This part speaks of how this closeness cannot be seen but felt and only these two hearts know how safe these closenesses feels. The first line makes sense as Kunj and Twinkle both do not see the apparent attraction they share but they definitely feel it, after all they question their feelings about the other all the time. For example, why Kunj felt weird leaving Twinkle alone today or why Twinkle closed her eyes when he came close to her. The last line reminds me of how Twinkle has realized how much Kunj looks out for her. I remember that one time during the Yuvi madness track when she said that atleast Kunj's presence made her feel safe. Recently, she has begun to see and admit that he will always be there for her. So, while they do not have a label for this closeness, they do feel safe with another. Even Kunj mentioned in his outburst today when he said that atleast before they would talk and share secrets which you only do with people you trust to keep the information safe.

Zariyaa hai ye aankhein zariya
Chhalakta hai jinse ek armaanon ka dariya
Aadatein hain in ki puraani
Ankahi si keh de kahaani

This verse talks about how unsaid desires reflect in the eyes and it's an old habit to keep things unsaid. It is said eyes are a window to the soul. This is true for Kunj and Twinkle. For example, the threat of the kiss, Kunj's eyes screamed that he really did want to kiss her. Today's episode also had Twinkle close her eyes when Kunj came near. In the episode during which this song played, there was a lot of eye contact that screamed attraction. The last two lines remind me of the fact that these two never address things. For example, the number of times Kunj reassured Twinkle, it was never addressed by her. She said nothing. Recently, with the "I l-" by Kunj too. He never even finished or changed the topic. He just left.

Parchhaaiyaan do judne lagi hain
Dekho hawa mein udne lagi hain
Pankh jaisi lagne lagi hain
Do dilon ki ab nazdeekiyan

This verse says that two shadows have become one and will begin flying in air like they have wings. This brings to mind how Kunj and Twinkle are drawing ever near. Together, as a team, they are strong and can "fly with flying colors" through their challenges, so to speak. These two complement each other- Twinkle has the desires while Kunj the practical method. Like with a bird, to fly, both wings need to work together hence they need to work together so they can face things in unison.

Another thing, in the episode where this song placed, the song began with the Nazdeekiyan line as Twinkle drew closer to Kunj's chest and face. Then, there was a pause where the music began and Kunj slowly began staring. Then, Twinkle reciprocated that gaze and "Zariya hai..." part began while they paused to stare into each other's eyes. It fits extremely well.

Anyways, please let me know what you think! And thank you for reading these.
