Chapter 2-Guilt
Twinkle was working in the kitchen mechanically,her face was devoid of any emotions,she was still in the shock of what happened last night,she was cutting vegetables when bebe entered the kitchen,twinkle was just about to cut her finger but bebe stopped her.
Bebe:Kya kar rahi hai puttar,dhyaan se kaam kar saying this bebe went to her and took twinkle's hand in her's and she realised that twinkle is having high fever,immediately bebe asked her to go and rest,all the work will be taken car by the servents,twinkle monotonously went to the room and sat on thier bed,closing her eyes she tried to sleep but the vision of the past night came back and she was wide awake,sitting on the bed cross legged staring at actually nothing.
She was in her own terrance when bebe entered with a bowl of fruits and milk for her,while giving her the tray she asked
Bebe:Twinkle puttar where is kunj,subah se dikha nahi.
Twinkle after hearing what bebe said,turned her head and reslised kunj was no where to be seen in the room and she also didnt saw him from the morning afterall she was alone on the bed when she woke up.
But why should she care about him after what he did last night he dosent deserve that care but some part of her still cared for him and carved for him,whatever happened betwee them but some part of him still wanted to hug him and cry hard,she wanted to slap him push him and scold him,she wanted him to say sorry,to hold her into his arms tenderly and remove all the pain he gave her,she knew she shouldnt think like this but she somewhere knew whatever happened today and the way kunj did it he was not kunj,he was not kunj he was someone else the spark in his eyes told her that it was not kunj,not her kunj.
Twinkle wanted to cry and let out all the anger she had on him,she wanted to scream out everything until everything goes away,she wants him now too.
Kunj was sitting on the bed of his farmhouse,his head burried in his head and he was shaking,the fear and the guilt of what he had done consumed him completely he was going maniac thinking how would he face twinkle,would she ever talk to him,will she every forgive him,But the biggest question out of all was Will she stay with him after what he did.
How can I do this,why I did this he mentally asked himself and he got no reply,there was just emptiness in his mind,he was blank.
I have to punish myself ,I have to punish myself he thought and swore that he would definaltely punish himself for the crime he has commited ,for the deadly mistake he has done.
How could How could he rape the love of his life,his wife how can he be soo angry and insecure to take such a criminal act,he is a criminal and he should be punished he deserves it,how can he hurt the person whom he loves the most in this world sometimes the realisation of some most important feelings happen after the worst time.
The mistake that he has commited is unforgiveble.
Arrey kunj puttar tu aa gaya,aur tujhe yeh chote kaise lagi and his mind drifted to what happened in the afternoon,Kunj wsnted to surrender himself to police was commiting such a crime but according to indian penal code,Marrital rape/Forced sex is not a crime,then he entered the boxing ring to white to went out his anger but he didnt fought back he allowed his oponent to hit him again and again until went unconcious and was taken to hospital ,after coming out of the hospital he didnt had anywhere to go so he finally came back home.
Bta naa puttar kya hua asked bebe.
Nothing bebe,where is twinkle asked kunj.
Woh apne kamre hai subah se uski tabiyat theek nahi hai tu jaa usse dekh bebe told him,he didnt had the power to face her but slowly he moved towards thier room.
Hearing the sound of door getting opened,twinkle turned her head and saw him entering the room,his face full of wounds,his eyes were down towards the floor not able to meet hers.
He looked the door behind him because he knew there will be something that the family shouldn't know.
Twinkle got down from the bed,still weak she walked up to him and Slapped him hard across his face,over and over again
"Kyu kiya tumne aise kyu" slap "Bolo kyu kiya" slap,He kept quite because there was no explanation of what he did..
Twinkle got tired,her anger which was bottled up came out and she sat on the bed,tears streaming down her face,kunj kneeled down infront of her and folded his hands,"Twinkle I know maine jo kuch bhi kiya uski koi explanation nahi but Mujhe nahi pata woh sab kaisa hua mai woh karna nahi chahata tha par pata nahi kaise" his words chocked in his throat as tears came out of his eyes,he hugged her waist tightly his head was in her lap,"Twinkle please twinkle please mujhe maaf karde mujhe chodkar mat jio twinkle mai mar jaunga tera bina,tu jo bolegi mai woh karunga,mujhe maaf karde twinkle"he said,he was actually crying both of them were crying,"Chod do mujhe kunj jane do mujhe"she said and he left her,he wanted her to forgive him ,but he knew that his mistake was unforgiveable,
"Tum jana chahati hoo mai tumhe nahi rokunga,tumhare liya,tumhare bina jeena bhi manzoor hai mujhe"kunj said.
Twinkle got up and took her stuff out from the cupboard,stuffing her stuff in the suitcase,she zipped it and stepped out of the room,he felt knife piercing his heart,she was feeling no different,But she needs time to get over this she cannot live without him but she cannot accept him so easily after what happened.
Leela was present in sarna mansion she came to meet twinkle.
Bebe,usha,manohar and leela saw twinkle coming downstairs with a bag in her hand and kunj was behind her.
Twinkle kunj,tum dono kahin jaa rahe ho asked bebe,but none of the replied twinkle continued walking towards the door and kunj stopped in the middle of the living room and saw her walking.
"Kunj puttar yeh kya ho raha hai batao mujhe"bebe asked.
"Twinkle jaa rahi ghar chodkar"he said making everyone shock.
"Par kyun,Twinkle tu ruk"said leela holding her shoulder,"Bata mujhe kya hua hai twinkle kyu jaa rahi tumhari ladhai hui hai mujhe bta hum sab kuch karenge,ghar chodke kyu jaa rahi hai"twinkle was still quite.
"Kunj tum mujhe bataoge bhi ki ho kya raha hai"asked manohar.
"Maine kaha usse jane ke liye,twinkle is not safe here,she deserves better not a monster like me"Kunj said mechanically confusing everyone more twinkle exited sarna mansion and leela followed her.
"Kunj kya hua hai twinkle kyu chali bata mujhe puttar"asked bebe.
"Haan kunj hame jawab chahiye"said manohar.
And he told them everything,what he did to her and everyone was shocked at the revealation,kunj cannot do this they thought but bebe slapped him hard to shocked to understand anything,thats why twinkle was so weak and quite this morning.
"Tune tod doya hai usse kunj,woh tujhse itna pyaar karti hai aur tune yeh kiya"said bebe,dropping to the couch ,her hand on her forehead usha was too shocked to react she nevet expected kunj to do something like this.
-3Weeks Later-
Twinkle was loving in taneja mansion,she was coming back to normal somehow getting over about what happened,she was longing for him but her mind was stopping her from going to him.
In sarna mansion kunj was no different,he was not taking care of himself ,he skipped his meals,went on rigrous work outs,boxing matches,he stopped going to college,initially everyone was not talking to him but slowly bebe and usha forgave him and later on manohar also forgave him,but none of them talked about twinkle getting back because only twinkle will decide what will be the fate of this relationship.
"Bebe why she dosen't punish me,why can't she forgive me,I know I did a crime but I just cannot live without her,I just cannot"kunj said his head placed on bebe's lap and tears flowing down his eyes.
"Puttar jo kuch bhi hua uske baad usse waqt chahiye,woh zaror koi na koi faisla legi"said bebe running her hand over his hairs.
-6 Months later-
Twinkle was not out of the trauma and was faring well,she was still hurt with what kunj did,but she started talking to other members of sarna family and she always come to knows from bebe that how much kunj longs for her,how he wants to earn her forgiveness,how he wants her to punish and bebe also toldtwinkle that how he was hurting himself and what he has reduced himself to in onky 6 months,he barely talks to anyone,goes to gym,fights some matches and comes back he rarely eats with the family and always keeps himself in his room.
Twinkle knew that he won't stop this until she does something,so she found a perfect punishment for him.
"Kunj baba kunj baba niche twinkle beti ayi hai aur leela ji bhi sath hai sab apko niche bola rahe hai"informed ramesh kaka,kunj's face lit up on hearing her name and he ran downstairs seeing her long six months he immediately hugged her,but she didn't hug him back,"I am soo happy twinkle to see you,Tum kaisi hoo"he asked.
"Mai theek hoon,aur tum kaise ho?"she asked.
"Ab tumhe dekh liya toh bahut zyada theek hun"he replied.
"Kunj mujhe bataya bebe ne ki you want my forgiveness and every person deserves a second chance ,So I have decided to give you a second chance"said twinkle and a smile came on his face.
"Ek mahina,you have one month to bring me back,to mend our relation and if you manage to restore our relation in this one month then I will be back in your life and in pur bedroom or else You will sign these divorce papers"twinkle said handing him a envolope.
"Sign karne ki naubat nahi ayegi twinkle,I will win you back,I will win your trust back"said kunj holding her hand in his.
"Kunj six months ago whatever happened on that night,I have forgotten it but I still don't know how to trust you,that night won't effect my judgment ,your one month will start tomorrow"she said and kunj smiled at her,he will give his level best to win her trust and love back .
