I want to commend TEI writers for showing the extent of jealousy that twinkle feels so well. We often see jealousy tracks play out often in india. Tv shows and they show womens jealousy downplayed by their emotions. We see women sad and upset their husbands or bfs are getting close to someone else and will feel a little annoyed but to a certain extent.and by these women i dont mean vamps. Mens jealousy is usually stronger and protective in nature. Women are attention seeking as well.
Twinkles jealousy is attention seeking for sure and twinkles anmoyed when maya comes up. Very typical to other shows.
What is out of the ordinary is todays episode the way twinkle hurt herself. Twinkle didnt seem to be purposely doing it to seek kunjs attention, well not only that. She seemed to hurt herself to grab his attention sure but more so to show her anger. I dnt ever remember seeing an indian woman character go to such extents that shes willing to hurt herself in the process. And she wasnt doing it to be babied. If she was, she would let kunj help her but she was more so annoyed with him and her jealousy is so strong at this point its turning into a little bit possessive. I love it. 😳
Kunj genuinly cares so much and he seemed taken aback by how annoyed she was. We need more such scenes. I want to see this jealous track develop to possessiveness on twinkles part. Its really refreshing to see it coming from a female character.
Its bringing my babies closer for sure in that twinkles on road to realization. Hopefully by the end of it shell realize she loves kunj. One of them needs to get there already hopefully this track will do the deed.
