This week saw the entry of the senior Sarnas. Manohar Sarna had cheated his older sister Bebe and brother Surjeet years ago and had all the paternal property transferred to his name and gone abroad.

His brother Surjeet had an ongoing court case dispute against Manohar that he won thereby getting the house and Sarna's business. Determined to avenge the dishonesty of Manohar he is determined to throw them out of the house.

However at Bebe's insistence that the entire family stay together despite Surjeet's protests , Manohar and his family get a reprieve.

Karwa Chauth celebrations are planned and Twinkle is worried how she will fast the entire day given she has never stayed hungry in her life. Kunj finds it amusing that she would stay hungry and tries to dissuade her. But due to Usha's pressure and wanting to be a good daughter, Twinkle decides to undertake the fast.

In order to wake early she sets 2 alarms to awaken her the next morning to eat the sargi early. But she sleeps through all the sound. Kunj awakens and tries hard to waken her unsuccessfully. Usha arrives with the sargi and he covers up for Twinkle to avoid getting her in trouble.

As she woke late she couldn't eat and is disappointed. But she makes a determined effort to maintain the sanctity of the fast. Nikki tries to poison Bebe's mind at the instigation of Usha that Twinkle broke the fast. When bebe doesn't believe her, she tells bebe that Twinj are not married by choice and were forced into this.

At the evening function Twinkle suffering from a bad case of acidity induced burps is insulted by Usha, Nikki and bebe for being too modern and not keeping the sanctity of the fast. Twinkle stands firm and justifies her upbringing of being both modern and traditional and that she did not eat the entire day.

Despite her claim no one believed her except Pinni, when Kunj comes and stands by her against his families allegations forcing them to reconsider. Bebe is happy and blesses them.

After the moon gazing ceremony the couples eat in their room. Twinkle doesn't eat initially, but Kunj uses high handed tactics like teasing her that she is trying hard for the best biwi award as she waited for him to eat first and takes her food to eat. Twinkle pretends to faint. He quickly feeds her and she winks at him grabs her food back and eats well as he watches indulgently.

Bebe comes there during their tashan and stops it. She advices Kunj to get Twinkle a gift even if it's a flower to appreciate her effort of sticking to her fast. Reluctant Kunj leaves. Bebe also warns Nikki to never talk ill of Twinkle.

In Manohar's room Manohar is upset at Usha and shouts at her that her sister ruined him by fighting Surjeet's case and winning it. When Usha speaks back he tries to hit her. Twinkle who comes in then holds his hand and politely dissuades him from hitting a woman and diplomatically tells him that men who hit women are weak. Angry Manohar tells her to mind her business and back off. Bebe sees this and after Twinkle and Manohar leave, she praises Twinkle in front of Usha who doesn't like it.

Usha completely adopts the evil mother in law mentality and waits for Kunj to return. She then lies of how Twinkle came to their room as she and Manohar were casually conversing and insulted Manohar. She claimed that Twinkle abused Manohar for bad decisions, losing the business and making her live like a poor person. Manohar was so insulted and weak by the accusations and very hurt while crying fake tears.

Enraged Kunj rushes to his room and shouts at Twinkle who was about to tell him about the incidence. Silenced by Usha's treachery Twinkle stays quiet to avoid Kunj hurting at his mother's deception and accepts the blame.

The next morning Anand and Nikki leave to London, as they don't want to be bogged down by Manohar's problems. Twinkle who was at the gate sees an accident happen notes the license plate and sees the person's bracelet. She sees Anita had been hit and unconscious. She rushes her the hospital where she calls Yuvi and notifies Kunj. Yuvi reaches the hospital and asks Twinkle about who did the accident shaking her shoulders that Kunj sees and doesn't like. Twinkle shakes yuvi off and informs him that she notified the police and gave all details to them.

The police identify the car as belonging to the Sarnas. Yuvi promises revenge for his mom against Kunj. Kunj stated they don't have that particular car. The police go to their house to see the car parked out the Sarana residence. It's revealed Cherry, Surjeet's son hit Anita and drove away. At Twinkle identifying him, the police take him away. Surjeet threatens her and tells her to take back her complaint. Twinkle stands her ground saying she will not as she stands by the truth and do the right thing. Kunj supports her in this as does bebe.
