Can someone please explain to me the reason for manohar's demeaning and patronising behaviour towards kunj? Kunj loves his father so much and is willing to do anything to make him happy yet mr sarna leaves no stone unturned to humiliate and scold his dutiful son. Why? Sagga haukar bhi sautela vevaar kyun? why does he treat kunj like he is worthless and he doesn't care about him? Even when Kunj tries to do things to make manohar happy his father is never happy and still humiliates him. Kunj's elder brother is good for nothing and does nothing other than act as a silent spectator to everything and acts as a joru ka gulam to his winey wife yet manohar shows no hate towards him. Why is that?
On another note I am in awe of the mutual respect and trust between twinkle's mother leela and kunj. When do you see such a pure bonding of love between a mother-in-law and her son-in-law? Love how leela has an unwavering amount of trust for kunj and talks about him with such pride and is so full of praise for him that she talks about him as if he is the most amazing person in the world (which he is)! Amazing how despite being his mother-in-law she sees his worth unlike his own father; leela really is a good judge of character and beside kunj she is the only other character with a sense of logic and a brain in this show. I adore seeing leela-kunj bonding scenes and honestly she seems to love kunj more than kunj's own mother does! the look in leela's eyes when she talks to kunj or when she talks about him is so admirable and comparable to a mother seeing her child take their first steps; she feels immense pride in him whenever he speaks <3
