As for the friends situation, I don't know the full stats, but I have seen most protagonists not have any friends at all. It's like they are surrounded by their immediate circle which usually consists of their family, the person they are paired opposite and their family. Apart from that, they really don't have anyone to talk to which really makes no sense? I mean what is the point of introducing friends and then not have them help out during a moment of crisis or a celebration. I mean, Twinkle got engaged. Where are her friends? They should literally be all over her in terms of helping out with the wedding and teasing her about her future husband or helping her see reason in regards to Yuvi. She needs another perspective thrown at her, mostly of another girl's who is her age.
