Thank you for opening this topic.

I didn't want to sound mean, so I didn't post it earlier. But now this has become a home truth that just can't be ignored.

This girl can't act to save her life!!!

It's not just the OTT bubbliness waali scenes, it's also the emotional scenes- for instance, when she thinks of her mother's love or the break-up scene. At least she should be able to nail those down na?

Maybe she'll get better with time when she's settled into her character. Because shooting for TV is very exhausting, and takes many hours I believe.

But as a viewer I am unable to continue watching this show.

Precisely! The break-up scene and the one before that near the brick kiln - no range of emotions registers on her face. It's just one monotonous blank look. It's a pity the casting team failed so badly in casting such a central character.

I somewhat agree with blank emotions thingy but I think she will improve with time...
Maybe these all episodes are previously captured at the beginning of shooting days, So there will be less knowledge of how the things are to be, like character personality... But I have a hope that the team will improve. Director is overall responsible with accepting the below avg. scenes and also the selection team for selecting. Maybe she was only the best suited..

I agree! At first I thought I'll wait for a month until maybe she settles into things, and its probably the immense pressure that is making her acting weird. But no, you can't really ignore it anymore. And to add, I had no idea she did other movies before! She has had sufficient experience too then!
Zain is probably the best among the three:Jasmin, him and Siddhanth. And Siddhanth is quite good too. And Jasmin is pretty and I do like Tashan-e-Ishq. Harmless candy floss like the TM said. But I don't think I can love it until Jasmin learns to act better!

I'm sure with time, it will grow to be much more bearable.

Thanks for bringing this topic up I agree she's not that great actress and I've never heard of her so I didn't wanna comment on her acting skills. But at times it feels awkward watching her on the screen but I just zip it up and watch it. I am watching this show because of the mothers and kunj they are doing an awesome job

To be fair, all three of the lead characters have their cringe worthy moments.

For example, Zain is not always a convincing villain because of his expressions and the effeminate ways he says his dialogues.

Sidhant pullls off the sarcastic dialogues really well, but has poor expressions when he is deliberately trying to be funny.

Jasmin, we all agree is sometimes OTT.

However, it is all a learning process. I'm sure as they keep working and begin to feel more comfortable with their characters, they will also mature and develop as actors.

We should be patient and give them some time to improve.

:))

I think she's super cute and hopefully her acting will improve with time but what really gets to me is her voice , it's so screechy , like sis tone it down a bit 😆

I think she is not that bad...has scope for improvement...
Second, as I have said earlier also that twinkle's role needs many emotions...unlike other leads where the lead is either simple girl or brat, here she is both.
Third, she is apt for the role of a Punjabi girl...her height, personality even voice ( though for me is quite screechy, hoping after marriage it will tone down)...but this is what most bindaas Punjabi girls are...
