Today was good.. Especially happy about the Classical Round.. It was the highlight of all so far.. Folk was all usual songs..

Only that Bhavana confused me again.. There were 62 who came to this level..And they announced 61 when they started this week. 22 took part in Western, 16 in Classical and she initially announced 23 will take part in Folk genre.

But at the same time, when she closed today's show she said we have 62 in the fray. engayo idikkude!

Thanks Jaysvimal for the quick updates!

So happy that all the classical singers got selected👏. They are the big contenders for the show.

Western was ok. Classical was... too good.

I am not intrested in Folk.

So by tomorrow mostly we will know who are selected for next round. Mostly they will come up with 40-45 around I think. Lets see.

I am very confused at the no of singers selected for this round too! you are right something is fishy or just the scrip(?😆) writer needs to get his numbers right!
sterday folk was very horrible compared to classicals! Sai Shanker, the gal who sang machan meesai & Sonya were good though. But very happy to see sai shanker 😳.

Thanks Krithika. Agree with you Pearl. Western was ok.. Few singers stood out.. some I still think in the back of my mind are TRP boosters identified by VTV..

Classical was out of the world.. No words can really picturise how happy I was listening to them.. That too me being always yearning I had a chance to learn classical music but never had a way for it.

Folk usually is good.. But this time, though there were few like whom Rupz mentioned, it didn't light up any big spark particularly that this round is coming after the much impressive Classical genre.. Lets see how it goes..
