thank you Karthikka for the info.I really liked the direction of ONR more positive...Maya didn't end up with bad guy and the hero didn't save her by his heroic deed...so natural...I am really impressed with story...and heroine's act is so natural...

I also liked how SW and her girls reacted towards Maya.

Bhavani is also sjowing her weakness, so she is not a perfect mother either.

You are welcome. 😊 I will give tidbits whenever I can.

ONR has big plans for this show and Maya's character development.

Anyone still watching this show? What are your thoughts?

Personally, I feel as though it's going great so far (with the exception of Crab scenes but the actor playing Crab has been exceptional at his role...it's tough to act being simultaneously scheming and somewhat incompetent). Also, kudos to the actor playing Yugi (who comes off as a total sweetheart on screen) and the actress playing Bhavani (who is refreshingly not shown as a paragon of patience, but instead as an emotional, concerned, affectionate, deeply caring but equally as worried mother).

recently i came across this serial... just watched bit n pieces here n there... but have to say the lead actress acting is something to look for... the yugi guy is handsome 😳

But what worries me is in this world where even a normal girls cant be safe, what abt the girl with autistic features like what is shown..

A commendable effort to make a show in this concept... But knowing tamil serial & no of episode, im afraid to watch what will happen to this GIRL...

I must say I'm rather disturbed with the way the story is progressing with Bhavani picturing Yugi as a husband candidate for Maya. Maya has the mental capacity of an 8 year old and imagining her in a marriage is very disturbing. Imho, Bhavani should focus on making Maya as self sufficient and independent as possible and appoint a guardian or caretaker to watch over her. It is selfish, unreasonable and unfair to expect Yugi to sacrifice his life and future just so Maya is in good hands. Maya is, in effect, a child and should be treated as such and Bhavani should think of some arrangement that resembles an adoption, not a marriage for her. Curious to see how our director ONR handles this and I'm confident that he will surprise us by breaking the stereotype that marriage is a "cure" to everything from philandering to mental disabilities.

@Blue: Agreed. I'm not sure how marriage will ease Bhavani's worries. Even if Yugi were to marry Maya (as it is being foreshadowed in the show), it will probably create more problems for Maya (especially considering that her father, step-mom, step-sister, Yugi's eldest sister and brother-in-law are all involved in this - all of whom are very unsavoury characters). Why can't this show portray friendship and the power of friendship in a positive light (instead of love and marriage and what not)?

@Green: Oh, I sincerely hope this is not the case! I have had enough with the magical powers of marriage emphasized in the majority of tamil serials (i.e. marriage cures drinking addictions, marriage solves infidelity, marriage solves the inability to have children, marriage transforms horrible human beings into the second coming of mother teresa etc...).
